We didn't end up doing any work with them. Their price seemed reasonable. They seemed okay, but we didn't have them do the work. They were very responsive on giving the quote, but we decided to go with someone else. They were a little hard to understand because English is their second language. I had some difficulty trying to understand what they were saying. They were clean and did the measurements. They wanted us to come in and take a look at what they had in their showroom as far as the different levels of granite. They didn't write up a very formal quote for the granite. They were also giving us info on cabinets they had and they were more thorough on the cabinets. They didn't really spell things out that much.

Our experience with them was very good. They are not super prompt, but when they say they would do something they would. They gave me a quote and charged me according to the quote. The work that they did was very good. The total job duration was probably two and a half weeks.

We have finalized plans with them to do the work but they haven’t started the project yet. They were quick to respond, they answered our questions, and they are willing to beat other peoples’ quotes.

Decided to have the kitchen counters replaced with granite. A man came to show a sample of the granite, measure and give a quote. The following week, decided to go ahead. Went to their showroom to select a color. Two weeks later, went to warehouse to pick two slabs of granite. To have it installed took much too long. I realize it becomes hectec sometimes, but it's important to keep the customer informed so not so much time is wasted waiting.

Wes from House of Granite came over and gave me a detailed estimate. I liked his detailed approach and the price was reasonable too. We finally selected them and they worked with me to find a suitable date. A two man team came at the agreed time and date. They were very professional and did a good clean job. We encountered unexpected plumbing problems and they quickly contacted a plumber they knew and had that person come to my house within a few hours. Everything was finally completed to my satisfaction. We are quite happy with their work and will recommend them to others!

My husband and I were pricing granite. We had gone to several stores. Our last stop was House Of Granite and Marble. They had been advertised in a coupon booklet in my town. My husband and I arrived on Saturday, Oct. 27. We were an hour late. My husband peeked in the door to see what the store looked like when Peter, one of the owners saw us and said come in. He was very polite and helpful. After seeing all the choices and knowing the price, (we knew we had a good deal) we went with them. Peter made an appointment for us for October 31, to get the measurements and on that day someone came out and measured. On Nov. 14, I had my granite. They were always helpful, they encouraged me to come back with a door of my kitchen cabinets to check the color against the granite. My husband and I were also led in the back of his store where we were able to pick out some granite from the actual stone. They do their own cutting there so you get to see actual piece. I highly recommend them!

I had gotten 6 quotes and their bid was the lowest, as it also included an under mount sink. I also had them remove the old counter, and their price for this was also the lowest of all quotes. Everything went exactly as scheduled. The counters were installed within 2 weeks of the order being placed. Actually they could have installed within 1 week, though it didn't fit into my schedule. I am extremely pleased with the granite and all of their workmanship. They were very neat and everything was clean when they left.

The sales rep (Wes) was very nice and great to work with. The job had a problem after the installation and the installers had to come back and ''improve the job''. They scheduled an appt to do the fix. They failed to show up for the appointment, and didnt even call. We waited for 2 1/2 hours. Finally, I called the sales rep and he had the workers call to say they were not coming. When they arrived the next day (also 2 1/2 hours later than they promised) they argued with me about whether it was done properly (the cupboard next to the cooktop would not open and there were gaps between the cooktop and the granite that were very obvious and the cuts where the granite met the cooktop were cut at an angle). Ultimately, they corrected the problem. One of the workers was very rude and was obviously angry and quite expressive about his anger. It looks good now, but I should not have had to argue with them to correct the problem. The cutting board made from sink cutout was not provided.

During our bid process, we saw an ad for House of Granite that said, "We will beat any competitors price", so we faxed to obtain a quote. We were expecting to have House of Granite beat our lowest quote by about $100- they beat it by $900! Needless to say, we went with them. When we visited the showroom, it was unassuming and clean. Paul showed us the on-site fabrication facility and explained to us that House of Granite is a family business. He and his 2 brothers run the showroom and they hire their own fabricators and installers- no third party involved. They were easy to work with- they communicated well during the entire process and the counters were installed within 3 weeks. On the day of the installation, the crew was there on time and they were very polite. They did have limited English-speaking skills, but said as much up front and asked us to speak slowly. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up reasonably well. We highly recommend this company.
