The house required a lot of patching and repair work. I think that the work was more extensive than anticipated at the time of estimate, but we were never asked for additional money. They did a beautiful job, with attention to detail.. The prep work was excellent and the painting looks perfect. They worked around other providers. It really looks like a new house. I will call on Z and Z for any future painting work. I will also recommend them to friends.

They did a fantastic job. Alex was very attentive to all the details we needed completed as we were putting our home on the market to be sold. His painters were great to have in the house. They were on time every morning, very pleasant to work with and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

A 12 foot square portion of our living room plaster ceiling (550 lbs.) crashed down just before Christmas damaging a fireplace mantel and a wall. In the process of evaluating contractors we further discovered that other parts of the ceiling were sagging. We evaluated 5 contractors, all from Angie's list. We considered replacing the ceiling with the original plaster construction as well as plasterboard. Plastering was extremely expensive and furthermore none of those contractors could handle the entire job (e.g. mantel, painting, electrical, etc.) . Some of the plasterboard contractors seemed uncertain of a perfect match and also had some reservations about the"extras." Z&Z was not the cheapest but exhibited professionalism and confidence and assured us we would be completely satisfied. Once contracted they were absolutely crackerjack at the job. Timely and efficient they not only perfectly repaired everything the contract required but, on their own, saw some other areas of the room that needed work (e.g. cracks, faded paint, etc.) and took it upon themselves to fix those as well. We've lived in our house for over 30 years while adding two major additions and, given the size and type of our property, have had dealings with many different contractors over the years. I can honestly say that Alex and Z&Z provided the best experience of its kind.

I'm sorry It took me a while to write this well deserved review for Alex. I just have to say, we are very happy with the finished results of Alex's team of painters. There were two workers onsite everyday in the beginning then one worker towards the end. Took about a week to complete the entire project. The workers shown up on time everyday. They took a short lunch break and were back to work painting away. They are experts at what they do and their quality of work proves it. We also had them paint some trim and one bedroom and bath on our primary residence which came out better than new! I would hire Alex's team by Z& Z again with out question. You can Trust Alex and his team they are clean, efficient and take pride in their work which is very hard to come by today's standards. Most Companies get it done as fast a possible and forget about the quality and charge you more and you get less. Z&Z painting is FANTASTIC. My wife and I will for sure use them again for future projects. Alex, the owner came out personally to do the quote. His team started on time and were flexable when things went wrong. The power in out unit went out and rather than pushing the project they brought in their own lights and finished on time. Alex came out personally to do the final walk through and identified a number of spots that I would have never noticed. When I came back later in the day he was personally taking care of it. It is clear he cares about the quality of work delivered. In addition, a week later we realized a closet in the bedroom was missed (I wouldn?t blame them at all as the paint is very light and the power was out). When I reached out to Alex he immediately made plans to have it taken care of. The guy showed up on time, finished the closet, and even did some additional touch ups. Already recommended him to my parents and will for sure Alex and his team again.

This is the 3rd time I have used Ales and Z&Z Painting. From the owner persoanlly giving estimates and getting his crew started the day of to his follow up during and at the end, there was nothing that ever went wrong. His crew has always been AMAZING. Professional, polite, quick and so flexible. This last time around, they even dealt with 11 kids for a bday party on the level below them! They never batted an eye about it. I will never use anyone else.

Alex the company principal provided an estimate for the job a few days after our first meeting and walk around of the house exterior. He listened carefully, took notes, and remembered all that we discussed. Alex's estimate was lower than others due to the carpentry services that he provided as an integral part of the job. At our pre-estimate meeting he explained what materials he used and also explained that he used only best quality Sherwin-Williams paint and did two coats. Due to my experience with "one coat" paints I knew that two coats would be needed and considered his two coat approach to be both realistic and professional. I learned that his is a family business and that he grew up in my neighborhood which added a personal touch to our discussion. He took my email address and emailed his estimate to me as promised within the time frame promised. He also told me when his crew would be available. A couple of days prior to the availability date he contacted me to confirm that the scheduling was as desired and asked which day would be the most convenient starting day for me. His crew arrived promptly on that day, introduced themselves and went about their work quietly and efficiently. At the end of the job, Alex reviewed it with me and tipped me to a weak spot in the roof which needs repair. From start to finish I felt that I was dealing with a very professional group who knew their work. The outcome was excellent and when I need professional painting again, whether exterior or interior, I will hire Z & Z for the work. I could not be more satisfied with my experience!

The painting went very well. I had to pay a little more because the coupon covered l room and I added the hallway. I was a little disappointed because I was going to hire another company whose price was$50 more. However I didn't realize that the lower price didn't include the ceiling or doors. When I looked back at the ad, I did see this exclusion in the small print. I would not have bought the coupon if I had realized that I would have to hire another painter to complete the job.

Very happy with how my house turned out. I am glad that I asked Z and Z painting. They are quick and professional.

Isreal repaired the hole in my two story foyer ceiling where I stuck my foot thru by accident and painted the ceiling. He was polite and clean and the work turned out fine. Alex was professional and checked the job before telling me it was done.

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the quality of work, and the neatness and care the employees demonstrated when working in our home. I would recommend Z & Z Painting and Restoration to anyone looking for a superior painting contractor.

The experience was wonderful. Alex kept in touch with me every step of the way and responded quickly to any concerns I might have had. The gentlemen who worked for him were professional and did an amazing job on some rather difficult tasks. I had several other painting companies bid the job, but the other companies did not seem capable of this large project. I couldn't be happier with the results.

The repairs and paint look great. Very happy with job.

Everything went very well, as evidenced by my ratings. The only downside was the time needed for scheduling the job, which ended up on two separate dates. If I had it to do over again, I would have bypassed buying the $250 coupon upfront, and had Alex out for an estimate first which would have helped getting it all scheduled together. Great quality and value, and would definitely use them again.

My new condo showed cracks in the paint and scratches in the woodwork. Then Z and Z arrived. Ismael and Alfredo applied wood filler and special tapes. They filled and sanded. After painting, they checked their work with a strong light. The three days they worked, they were consistently good-humored and courteous. During our final walk-through, they were as proud as I pleased. The walls are flawless. Also, though Alex was in his busy season, he was able to schedule me right away. After Z and Z's improvements, I finally felt ready to entertain.

Overall great experience! It took some back-and-forth to get the project setup, but once we agreed on date, price, ect. everything else went very smoothly. Alex came out for the estimate, initial walkthrough and final walkthrough. The painting crew was great - quick and accurate with painting and very respectful of the house. The cleaned the workspace everyday and arrived promptly ready to go. We didn't need to be in the house other than at the start of the day and end of the day. Very happy.

Alex is a very courteous and reasonable professional. When I started off, I could not imagine getting the whole house re-painted because I thought the expense was prohibitive. I started getting some quotes and Alex offered the most reasonable quote. He explained what is needed and what can be skipped. He did an excellent color match, so it is practically impossible to detect the newly painted areas from the untouched areas. He was able to accommodate our situation which was essentially that we were putting up the house on both the sale and rental markets simultaneously and the timeline was not only compressed but work had to be performed in a certain order because many other non-painting tasks were going on at the same time. He planned the whole schedule and alternated painters, interior and exterior painting days and was able to get everything done within the deadline. It was a race against time, but his cooperation was always there. Quality was not compromised and when I asked him to add a couple small tasks to the original list, he was able to take care of them without a problem. He has a good crew. Our house is on a sloped terrain, so the roof sections (soffit/fascia) are somewhat risky to access. There were no incidents and the work was done smoothly. We did not have to stay in the house. The painters knew how to get in and leave without jeopardizing security. Very happy with the work done!

Z & Z Painting was very professional every step of the way. There was perfect communication via email: Alex confirmed when the date was getting closer that we had the appointment coming up Due to the weather forecast the paint job was likely to be delayed and Z & Z Painting told us in advance about the issue and about a potential date for re-scheduling. The people doing the job were also very professional and hard working people. I would definitely call them again.

Alex and his crew were very responsive. Alex returned my call in 24 hours, gave me an estimate, and all of his crew arrived every day at 7 am as scheduled. They did an excellent job painting as instructed. They were very careful to cover my furniture and put it back as instructed. One paint did not match my old paint in one room but Alex returned, matched the paint, and got it fixed the next day.

Everything went very smoothly from initial communication through completion of work. Alex promptly responded to me and quickly scheduled the work to be done. Benjamin was our painter and he arrived on time and was very professional. The quality of the work was very good and he completed everything very fast. Thank you again!

They did a great job and were courteous. They couldn't find out order so they didn't call us but they were able to find after I called them.

Obtaining the quotation and service was efficient and easy. Alex was professional and punctual. The work was completed on time and with great workmanship, including clean-up and was more economically competitive than two other providers.

I had little contact with Alex so most of the transaction was done on-line. The day before I contacted Alex to reconfirm that the painter would be coming. Israel rang the buzzer at 7.30am on the dot! He was able to paint the ceiling and walls with two coats in 8 hours. The job is excellent. Israel is very nice, professional and considerate. I will use them again for sure when it comes time to do my living room!

My husband and I usually do the painting, but this room has high ceilings and we just don't have the skills or tools or time to do this job. Since is was basically one large room and the ceilings we had one painter here for 2 days. He was courteous and friendly and professional. He did a nice job and we are very happy with the results and would recommend to anyone looking for good painters.
