Description of Work: I wish I knew that you can replace just window panes and not the entire window -I could saved myself loads of money when I replaced the entire window and frame when I didn't have to. Window replacements don't match the other windows and look like replacements. This company did a great job at a good price and even worked on my patio door rollers! Professionals!

Description of Work: Replace sliding door glass that was cloudy. Glass took about 5-6 weeks to get from ordering. Quick in and out. I would recommend if you just want to replace a failed panel of glass that you consider these folks. I was looking at a 3-4K+ vinyl sliding glass door replacement which I did not want to spend at this time on this home.

Description of Work: New sliding screen door; replaced fogged glass in sliding glass door, including hailing it up to a third-floor location.

Description of Work: At first, Michael did not think he could replace my broken window as part of back entrance door. He immediately referred me to "door companies." Then I sent photos to him of replacement needed; he gave estimate for his costs, and door was repaired by him within the week !

Description of Work: I called and left a message in need of a basement window repair an no one called back. Going on 2 weeks later and no returned call.

Description of Work: Mike installed a Climate Solutions 2 lite 8ft. sliding patio door containing Lowe 366 glass and a new screeen. He also installed (3) Climate Solutions 2 lite slider windows of varying sizes with 1/2 screens, again containing Lowe 366 glass. Above the sliding glass door he replaced three insulated glass panels about 4ft high and the width was the same as the sliding door, 8 feet.By just installing new insulated glass and re-using the existing frames there was a considerable cost savings. Mike and his helpers were prompt, neat, and I think did a great job in a short amount of time. Total time spent over (2) days was about (9) hours. We will be using Mike in the future to replace doors and storm doors.

Description of Work: My Mom had an exterior door which was difficult to open and close. Michael determined that it was due to settling caused by the tear down of the house next door when they used the wrecking ball to break up the basement walls. It needed readjusting to make the frame square again which he did and it works and looks fine even though it is now slightly uneven when you measure the trim around the door. He also installed double pane thermal windows which replaced the old single pane glass picture window which looks great since we don't need the old, unsightly aluminum storm windows anymore. He also figured out a way to solve a problem with an unpainted stoop so it would not show through the window. My Mom is delighted and thinks her picture window is beautiful now. I gave this company a B for responsiveness because they didn't call back immediately, but when they did, they were there right away and got the jobs done quickly. I'd definitely use them again. Michael has a very nice sense of humor.

Description of Work: I emailed the WIndow and Door Connection regarding a window repair. Dan both called and emailed promptly. Once he heard about my repair and my timeline, he directed me to a company better able to meet my needs. Now, that is service.

Description of Work: Mike was asked to come out and "tweak or reinstall" the front storm door that another contractor had put on. The other contractor had been out twice and just didn't get it right. Mike had an appointment to come out at 2:30pm. I had gone out and came home about 2:00pm and Mike was waiting for me. He had arrived early (1:45pm) since his other jobs went faster than he thought they would. He didn't complain that he had waited for me, just total patience. He already knew what the door needed to bring it up to a top quality installation. He worked on the door for two and half hours. He had a "new" striker plate to replace the badly scratched up striker plate. He had new pins to replace the sloppy screws that were used to attach the door check to the hinges. Mike also looked at my gate and told me what was wrong with it and told me where to look on my Anderson windows for the date that they were made. I cannot say enough good things about Mike and Window and Door Connection. Way to go, Mike!
