We have been happy with Joe and Viello. When we purchased our home in Glenview, the previous owners used Viello for weekly lawn maintenance. We contacted Joe and he clearly outlined costs and services. The team is out here consistently every week and do a great job maintaining our landscaping. Recently we used Viello to bury some of our downspouts. Viello did a great job. At one point in the job, we were forced to reverse some of the work due to an unforeseen circumstance. Joe was quick to respond and have his team back out first thing the next morning to do the work. I highly recommend Viello for all landscaping services.

I hired Viello landscape this year and am very happy with the results. They put all new sod down and did a fantastic job. What's remarkable is that I did not see a spot of dirt on my driveway or side walk after they left. Joe was patient, worked with me and gave good advice. My previous lawn company let me lawn die. I inherited them from the home's previous owner. I had to choose between two lawn care services and I picked Viello in the end b/c they had good reviews on Angie's list also. Viello also mulched, maintained the yard and groomed some of our trees. Next year, we're doing flower beds.

It was great working with Joe w/Viello Landscapes again this year. Last year he helped with yard clean-up and this year I decided to give his designing skills a try. He brought his beautiful design to life and went above and beyond with special extras. Thank you, Joe! I look forward to working with his company again in the future.

I called asking if they were interested in coming out for a quote. I received a phone call the next day letting me know that their current team does not include my area. They said they would be glad to come out once they had another team put together in a month or so. It was very professional to call me back to let me know what was going on. Most of the other firms didn't bother to call back.

I can't say enough about the wonderful work the guys do at our home each week. When they leave everything looks beautiful. Throughout the season they not only cut the lawn and do the edging but also trim bushes, haul away leaves and do the spring and fall clean-up. Extra services cost a bit more than the regular monthly services but all prices are reasonable. This is truly a full service company. They arrive at the same time each week and are very professional. I love the work the do!

Very smooth transaction. I called for 7 yards of mulch to be installed. The price was discounted by 20% based on the info on Angie's List which made it very affordable. I agreed verbally to have the mulch installed and Joe gave me a range of dates on which the work would be done. I came home from work one day and it was completed. Simple process and Joe was very professional. I'll call him again next year for sure!

Spoke with Joe several times over the phone after the estimate was provided. Being the first time hiring a landscaper, I was hesitant to hire out to get this work done. Every conversation was professional, courteous and informative. Top notch service! The spring clean-up exceeded my expectations. I feel confident that my weekly maintenance work will meet the same standards and appreciate the piece of mind the work will be done right. Joe was in constant communication as he had to work around a busy schedule and weather. I would recommend this service company to my neighbors and any passerby inquiring about our lawn. I'm kind of confused in that the details of this company state that they cover a pretty large territory and Joe stated that my area is "out of route" "but we do larger jobs in that area". Kinda funny that I'm approximately 5 miles from where this company says they're from which is Schaumburg il and I'm Streamwood / Hoffman estates area (rte 59 and rte19 )

Viello does what they say and when they say they will do the job. Makes sure the materials are 1st rate and at a fairly reasonable cost. Joe is sincere and concerned with the work. The crew not only cleans up after the job but makes sure the entire area is clean. will most definitely use them again.

I’ve been using them for a year and a half now. They do good service. They are always on time and very respectful of the property. It’s been pretty good. Usually, they don’t come out to cut if it’s raining and wet but that’s okay. I’m not always there to see them firsthand but my wife has no complaints and she seems to be okay. They took over the contract from my previous provider who retired and they decided to keep the price. They haven’t gone up on it. I think they are a little higher than most but it’s still okay. I don’t have a problem paying them.

Joe showed up exactly when he said he would. He was very friendly, very professional, and I just got a really good feeling from him. His communication was excellent, much better than I'm used to with landscapers -- he went over exactly what he would do, and he had some nice ideas. He sent me the estimate very quickly through email. I ended up having to go with someone else due to money issues (someone else was able to do it cheaper, although who knows if the quality will be as good.. we'll see), but it was a tough decision. If I had the extra money I'd have definitely gone with Viello.

Joe responded within 24 hours of my initial phone call. I received a written estimate a few days later along with a time period when they would arrive to do the work. The crew and Joe arrived EXACTLY when he said they would! They completed ALL the items on the estimate without me having to go out and supervise. Our yard looks amazing! I have used other landscapers in the past and it is always the same thing....they show up days or weeks after promised, need constant supervision to make sure everything gets done and often have billing errors. Viello Landscaping was a joy to work with from start to finish. A truly professional job....and it shows!!

When I got home from work, our yard looked totally different! It was amazing the transformation after they cleaned and removed all dead grass.

I contacted Joe & set up an estimate for 3/22/14. He came out & we talked about the work I needed done - mostly landscaping - sod, bushes planted, lava rocks laid down, and a few other things to include possible weekly lawn maintenance. He wasn't prepared to measure & said he'd have to come back. He did tell me with the cold weather his spring cleanups were delayed & he'd need at least 3 weeks to get those done. It rained a few days after that & I asked that he not come when the ground is wet & muddy. On Sunday morning, 3/30/14, I reached out to him again as I sitll didn't have an estimate & didn't think he had been out to measure. I suggested Sun or Monday since it had been dry & was not looking like it was going to rain again for a few days. I never heard back from him. Tues (4/1/14) night he emailed me apologizing for not getting back to me sooner but since the weather had been nice, he was busy with jobs & said something about being up north & not getting home until late. He asked if I had hired someone already or if I still wanted him to come out. I replied that I reached out to him Sun morning & never heard back & had just assumed he wasn't interested. This wasn't going to be a small job by any means & I read good reviews on him & his company, but honestly, not impressed at all. If you're not interested in a job, just say so!

When I contacted Joe on Angie's list, he responded within 24 hours. He stopped by my house to view my lawn so he can provide a realistic estimate and was very straight forward with what his schedule looked like and when he would be available to service our lawn. He came out on the day he said he would and WOW did his crew do an outstanding job. They got all the leaves out from our shrubs, mulch, and landscaping. Our lawn doesn't have a branch or leaf on it. It's as if they vacuumed our lawn. The landscaping looks fantastic; the mulch and dirt looks refreshed and ready for winter hibernation. Because of the out standing work that Joe and his crew has done, this has given us piece of mind that come spring our lawn will be in great in shape. I would highly consider Viello Landscapes for any yard work that you need completed.

We have an annual lawn maintenance contract with Viello. We are going into our 3rd year and I am extremely pleased with their work. They pay attention to detail & don't mind when I ask them to me a favor. I look forward to meeting with Joe & his crew in the next few weeks to decide how to make it stand out. (The neighbors liked their work so much that they hired them also, not only for the weekly maintenance, but to replant most of the front landscaping as well as clean up their overgrown back yard!) So we get to reap the benefits from both yards!
