Description of Work: I had some big cracks in my basement that they fixed.

Description of Work: I had US Waterproofing repair a crack in my foundation wall that had initially been repaired by another basement waterproofing company, but continued to leak with heavy rainfalls. Also, US Waterproofing ran my downspouts underground and also the sump output pipe was run underground to bubbler pots. Their professionalism was top notch. Jim Bright was my service advisor and I have already reviewed him and his great service in another review. I am posting a new review to comment on how satisfied Mr. Bright was in terms of responsiveness to a few concerns I had about placement of the bubbler pots -- US Waterproofing quickly had a representative come out, assess the issue and understood my concerns (Debbie) and fixed the problem immediately and now everything is functioning flawlessly. During this last torrential downpour about 2 weeks ago, many of my neighbors sadly were flooded -- many of them had no backup sump pump or old sump pumps. Thank God I listened to Mr. Bright and got a new very powerful Zoeller sump pump with the Boss 3000 battery backup. They BOTH performed flawlessly, and thanks to the downspouts being run 10 feet from the house and the sump output pipe 20 feet -- I feel that the basement wasn't saturated with redundant water and the water was effectively siphoned away from the foundation. Also -- no more leak from that pesky crack in the wall. I am looking forward to having US Waterproofing inject several more cracks (not leaking, but may pose an issue in the future once my basement is finished) in the very near future. US waterproofing and Mr. Bright have proven to be one of the most professional organizations I have every contracted, and I am impressed, to say the least.

Description of Work: Steven came on time and he was very professional and knowledgable . He a**** the property and offered a plan which was very clear and specific to my property. He found two cracks and offered a membrane around the fundation. He said the membrane has to be done in spring time for the sake of the temperature. I requested if he can patch the two cracks immediately, he made a phone call and told me that the crew will be in the property the next day at 08.00 am. What a service, I was very impressed. If I ever need water proofing services again I'm sure they are the best people in town to do a superb job.

Description of Work: Wanted a leak fixed plus a new sump pump. They came as scheduled to fix the leak and also the pump. However, a few months later, 8 to be exact, the pump failed and had to be replaced. The switch failed. They did come and replaced it very efficiently and even though it was right before Labor Day weekend (this year) they did have someone come within 2 hours. Then, after a hard rain, the leak reappeared in the basement. They did come out, after repeated tries that failed due to bad weather, and they did seem to finally fix the leak. There is a guarantee so I am satisfied.

Description of Work: Rep came out on time, completed a detailed survey of the basement area and exterior of the house due to our complaint/concern. He provided a detailed explanation, report, and estimate. Due to the nature of the issue, we are not going forward with a big remediation project, however, if we do go ahead we are likely to go with this type of solution.

Description of Work: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, Our crawlspace flooded and we called US Waterproofing. They came out the next day (Saturday), while other companies took a week. He measured the crawlspace. He showed us from a book what they could do. He said they would install drain tile, a sump pump pit with pump, and put in gravel over the drain tile (no plastic liner, no concrete floor, no insulation). He then continued to say it would run $6,600 but if we would sign today he would make it $5,331. He was taking advantage that we had water in our crawlspace. I told him I knew that other companies would charge less for more work. I knew the materials would only run $1,000 (if that). He then tried to convince us to sign again. I told him no and asked him to leave. We went with Crawlspace Solution who did draintile, sump pit and pump, gravel, 10mm plastic vapor barrier, and 4 in of concrete for $2,500.

Description of Work: Came in for an estimate, but the work I needed done was outside their area of expertise. Nice, professional estimator - arrived on time for our meeting.

Description of Work: I have no complaints with the work preformed, however, the company's customer service could stand some improvement. #1 For example, when a fax of the contract from the companies representative did not make it through to our fax completely, it took 4 phone calls over 2 days to get a response from the representative. His telephone message was not one of apology for the inconvenience but more of a whining and finger-pointing nature. I would have appreciated, "I am sorry for the inconvenience, I will try to send it again.". Also, a direct telephone number to the rep would have helped, I was only given an 800 number. #2 A courtesy call the day before our appointment to establish the time of the work crew's arrival would have been nice, instead, I had to call U.S. Waterproofing the day of the appointment to get an idea of when to expect them. #3 There was no warning of the intense odor accompanying the work. HOWARD TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE BASICS OF WATERPROOFING, GAVE ME OPTIONS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM, AND COURTEOUSLY MADE RECOMMENDATIONS EVEN THOUGH IT BECAME CLEAR THAT IT WAS A SEWER PROBLEM WHICH THEY DON''T DEAL IN. I GREATLY APPRECIATED HIS INFORMATION.
