"I’m not sure where to start with responding to this review. It is pretty disappointing that you gave me this review when we have not even done business together. Here are some items that I would like to clarify: 1. Our meeting time at my office was 4:30pm on Friday (that is what I show in my calendar). This was a time that was mutually agreed and I believe you came to my office after you got off of work. If you needed it later then that would have been fine. I never knew that was an issue. I work evenings quite often. This was back in March so I do not remember specifics other than what is in my calendar. 2. I have a team of 6 and because I work Monday – Saturday, I do take 1 day off a week so I can be with my family. I have team members that can cover for me if something comes up on Sunday. 3. The commission is 5% + $395. This is due at closing and nothing is payable up front. We even went over the estimated proceeds sheet that laid out the expenses that you would have in the transaction. Half of the 5% goes to the buyers agent. Not sure where this 10% came into play. 4. I am involved in the sale from start to finish. I have staff to help with paperwork but I handle the licensed activities. 5. From our conversation regarding our commission and representation, it did not feel like you trusted me and so I said I did not think we were going to be good partners. I look at our clients as partners in the transaction. 6. I did not receive the emailed listing agreement or the regular mail listing agreement. I did receive the priority mail listing agreement on Monday afternoon. It came in on Saturday and the front desk did not put it in my mailbox until the afternoon on Monday. 7. You made several changes to our listing agreement and that is when we had our next phone call that led to us going our separate ways. 8. After it was determined we were not going to work with each other, I mailed you a check to reimburse you for the mail and priority mail that you sent. 9. You mention at the end that I sell very few houses. In 2012 I personally sold 60 homes and our team sold 101. The average Realtor sells 5 to 7 homes a year. I wish you and your family all the best on the sale of your mother’s condo."
