From the time that I contacted The Real Seal, I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. The house was evaluated and recommendations were made for repairs. The technician came on time and did an excellent job. I am very satisfied.

I foound them very honestand very professional. No gimmicks like other companies Dale came over and explained what actually needs to be done and gave me a fair quote and the picing was fair and he was able to get me a schedule within 2 weeks. Orasio showed up right on time and did an excellent clean job. I was very happy with his work and he was very courteous. Overall I am very happy that I hired Realseal and would hire them again.

The Real Seal, overall, did an excellent job from initial contact to project completion. The project estimator, Manny, was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable and pointed out some additional issues in our foundation that went beyond the initial reason for my call, which was to inspect two basement foundation cracks that were leaking. He offered a 5% discount for use to complete work on 5 cracks (three additional), and that was helpful since the cost of sealing each crack was high. The work needed to be scheduled several weeks beyond the estimate, but since our need wasn't urgent, that was fine -- and a good sign that the services offered are in high demand. On November 6, George arrived right on time to do the work. Before beginning, he introduced himself and described the work he would be doing. He was very personable, skilled, and thorough. He accompanied me to the basement to survey the work areas Manny identified and then began to check the basement very thoroughly, partly as a result of a crack I showed him that Manny didn't note in the initial inspection. He said he could fix that crack, too. Upon his more detailed inspection, he discovered additional cracks, three that were significant enough to warrant repair. I was not happy to learn that we had 4 additional cracks that needed repair after the initial inspection, but Manny assured me that he could do them and that the benefits of repairing them now would outweigh the unexpected additional cost. He was able to offer an additional, most discount which helped. He spent essentially the entire day repairing the cracks, which was a complicated process of cleaning, patching, inserting ports, and injecting an epoxy through the ports (over 100 of them for the 9 cracks). I don't even think he took a lunch break. Throughout the process, he would ask me to come down to the basement so he could point out minor issues that he was able to address -- I felt fully informed and aware of the scope of problems and what needed to be done. The work was done with the utmost respect of our property and items, some of which were in the way of the new cracks, and he helped move plastic bins and storage shelves to reach the affected areas. In addition to the basement crack repairs, he inspected our sump pump, gathered some loose cords that were dangling in the well and bound them, and recommended some simple maintenance tips. In summary, I was impressed particularly with the quality of the work and with George's attention to detail, as well as his overall professionalism and engaging personality. Two minor disappointments were (1) that the additional cracks weren't identified at the original inspection, and so we were unprepared for the additional cost, and (2) the cost of repairs, which were discounted modestly. Overall, The Reals Seal appears to be an honest, customer-focused business that offers a service of value and integrity.

My mom had water coming in this spring. One of our other Angie's list providers recommended Austin. He came out and fixed 2 cracks for a reasonable price. The other two places my mom called wanted to do all sorts of expensive things that, as it turned out, weren't necessary. Austin fixed the one crack we knew about and one that the others missed. He was still cheaper doing the two cracks than the others would have been doing one. My mom highly recommends them. Real Seal is the real deal!

The work was done in three parts over a period of several months this past summer/fall. We live in house orignally built in 1940 and due to the exceedingly heavy rainstorms we have had over past two summers we found that the foundation was no longer able to keep the water out. First we had the back foundation wall dug out, fully re-tarred to prevent water coming in about half way down the wall and dribbling down, and the soil replaced in one long day. About two months later an internal drainage trench was installed along base of the foundation on the west and north sides of the house and hooked into an existing sump pump on the east side of the basement. All of this work was accomplished in one day also. Soon thereafter a drain was installed in a west side window well and attached to the drainage pipe. The first and second parts of the work was overseen by the same foreman. He was very professional and kept us informed throughout. His crew worked seemingly without stop and meticulously cleaned up the work areas. The window well drain work was took about 4 hours from start to finish and work area was thoroughly cleaned up. Since the work was completed we have not had experienced the extended torrential rains that prompted these repairs in the first place and that would put all of this work to the test. However, weekly sump pump activity reports indicate that ground water is being moved away from the foundation on a regular basis and most importantly is that the basement is dry. All of the people we came into contact with on the phone, and as the work was proposed and performed were friendly, answered questions readily, and worked efficiently.

Project went very well and has solved the problem

Original estimator came out and was great, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. George came out to do the work couple weeks later and went out of his way to make sure everything was fixed. Also did a great job keeping me updated and explaining everything to me. Would definitely use George and real seal again.

The foundation crack was fixed at a reasonable cost. The Real Seal representatives I dealt with (Dale and Peter) were experienced, professional and did excellent work I would definitely use Real Seal again if the need arose.

Out of several companies I called to install a window well, Manny was the only one who understood what I wanted and gave me an upfront cost. I had 2 other window well drains previously installed by the prior owner of my home. Other companies wanted to talk me into things I did not need or want. They were prompt, completed the work with minimal issue and left the area relatively clean.

Real Seal was out several times through no fault of their own. They repaired cracks from both the interior and exterior of the house. Each time they came out George, the tech, was friendly, professional and motivated to do a good job. He did not just start in but evaluated the situation before doing anything. He also explained what he was going to do in laymen's terms and showed me the work once he finished. Ben, the salesman, was equally friendly, professional and interested in identifying the problem before providing the solution. Both of them are interested in solving your problem, not just making a sale. I have had no more water in my basement since they completed their work. Real Seal is the Real Deal!

Ben arrived right on time (although scheduling was a month out). We've had two other estimates for this problem and I wanted just one more since they were very different solutions. Ben took a look and gave me a solution that did not involve them doing it. I appreciate that he gave me an option to try before doing something that costs a lot of money and may not even fix the problem. We will give it a try, and if it does not work, definitely call him back.

It well exceeded my expectations. Ben came out and was very easy to work with. Very clear and great attention to detail. Very reasonable site visit in terms of time, followed by George who came out and sealed the cracks. These folks are the real deal (no pun intended). It's great to be able to find a company where they come out, no frills, this is what you need, you book it, and you really don't even have to check the work they do-- they do what they say and they do it well. I will for sure be calling Ben again without question!

The work went fine. Luis did the work. He was on time and worked hard to dig out the dirt and fix the crack. He was very professional. He explained what he was doing at each step of the process and was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. We won't know how well it worked until the next rainfall.

Ben, from Real Seal, came out and looked over our foundation and basement. They were punctual and very professional and I'm very impressed with the process they used to assess our home. (lot's of measurements and lasers!) At the same time, we had also had a structural engineer look over our home and we determined that foundational repairs were not needed at this time. That said, if anything changes or our basement starts leaking, we'll certainly be calling Real Seal back!

He arrived on time and evaluated the situation quickly. Tony was very knowledgeable and knew how to correct the problem on our sub pump. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future plumbing issues. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Great work! Tony came out to give us a quote and I couldn't do much becuase we hadnt exposed the walls and taken down the dywall and insulation. My husband did that (to save us money) and the next day we got a huge rainstorm and tony came out again (he was not even scheduled to) and saw the problem and told me how they'd fix it. He was great at explaining it in laymens terms. They were booked 3 weeks out (popular) and they guy came to fix it and man did he earn his $$. The 3 cracks in all different walls were huge and they sealed from the inside all the way to the outside. He was able to show us a little outside work that needed to be done (it was NOT an upsale) and we are so glad we listened. Highly Recommend
