Austin and his crew were great. The Real Seal staff is professional, courteous and on time. They gave accurate estimates, time frames and provided real solutions. Replacing the sump pit created a mess as they basically had to dig a new pit. The crew did a great job cleaning up. By the time the crew was gone you would have never known they were there. We have used The Real Seal in the past when we needed an additional sump pit and an interior drain tile in the opposite side of the house. We had had minor water seepage issues for many years and was unable to determine the cause. Austin took the time to work the issues, determined the cause and came up with a great solution. We have had no issues and many heavy rains in the past couple of years since the work was completed. Without the work done by The Real Seal we would have definitely had water issues. We have used The Real Seal in the past, and if we have issues that they work on, we would definitely use them in the future.

I've had 5-6 companies come out to figure out why my basement leaks slightly during heavy rains. None of these companies actually did a water test to see why the water came in. Jerry, from Real Seal did. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and show me how water was coming in. Unfortunately for his company the solution was $2 worth of caulking around a door frame. That said, if I ever do have a true leakage problem or know some one who does, I would recommend Real Seal.

It went pretty well. They tool longer than I thought, and they used a sealant (gray) that didn't match the color of our house (white) or the concrete stoop. We were planning on painting it anyway, so in the end it's not a big deal. We like Real Seal and would use them again.

RealSeal installed new drainage tiles and a sump pump in my approx. 950 sq. ft. basement. They also installed a tough waterproof membrane around that periphery. In order to do this, they had to cut out the bottom 2-4 ft of the drywall and studs in 2 rooms down there, and dispose of the debris. The ONLY reason I'm not giving them 100% on quality is that, while replacing the cement and rebuilding the slab for my laundry tub, they did not make the slab level, which has resulted in adjustments that are difficult to make, as my laundry tub is extremely heavy and difficult to nudge. Other than the problem with the slab, the workers were professional in their manner, and it appears that RealSeal has equipped them with very good gear and conditions; they seemed to actually enjoy their work. Jose, the foreman, was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. And Dan, the salesman, was also great in answering my many, many questions. The video on RealSeal's website was a good resource for me in envisioning the project. I would definitely recommend RealSeal to others.

The Real Seal staff were thorough in their explanation to repair my foundation. They were professional and friendly and patiently answered my many questions. Their response time for returning phone calls was very prompt. The final repair worked out well though the ultimate test will be the first big rainstorm. I would recommend getting an estimate for your project from Real Seal.

Work was done as scheduled. No heavy rains this summer, but I am assuming that the repairs will solve the problem of water coming into the basement. Phone calls from office to tell me when repairs would be made and when to expect the person who would do so. Very efficient. The 3 other companies who came to give me estimates for the problem advocated a much more expensive solution than just repairing the cracks.

They quickly and accurately diagnosed our issue. Repairs were reasonable and effective. Highly recommended.

I had contacted multiple companies to give an estimate on potential work we were considering for our home. I appreciated the communication before the appointment for confirmation, and they showed up on time. Compared to others who provided estimates, felt like these guys were the most authentic. Told me what work needed done vs what would would just be a waste of money. Felt like an honest assessment. And, when they wrote up the quote for the work they would recommend, pricing compared to others for what they defined as a possible scope of work was very competitive. I don't have a critical need that needs addressed now, but when I do decide to do the work, I'll be calling these guys.

What a positive experience. I thought Manny was great, and Luis was as well. It’s such a stressful thing to have water coming in, but I felt so much better after Manny’s visit, and after Luis’ work. It was such a great experience, I will recommend Real Seal to anybody I know that has water issues. Luis had to take down drywall to get to the problem, but you'd never know anyone was in the house doing any work. He cleaned up and left it spotless. I found Real Seal to be up front and honest, in fact my bill was less than quoted. And it's a lifetime warranty! You can't ask for better than that. Highly recommend.

Before getting into details, I'd like summarize my experience by stating I am an extremely satisfied customer of The Real Seal. Do yourself a favor and at least schedule an appointment if you are in the market for any of the services they offer. In my research on the potential issue, I encountered The Real Seal on Yelp as well as YouTube. Their videos were some of the most informative I saw when research foundation issues and solutions. As a general rule of thumb, I decided to reached out to 3 different companies to have them evaluate my home. After reading their glowing reviews on Yelp and Angie's List, I knew they would be 1 of those 3 companies. US Waterproofing was the first company I had come out to take a look. Their staff was certain there was severe issue and had suggested that the engineer we hired prior to purchase was either grossly incompetent or a flat-out fraud. Despite this assertion, they were unwilling to commit to much. They were confident that a foundation pier system was needed but said I would need to hire a structural engineer to develop plans. A few days later Austin and his team from The Real Seal came by. Their level knowledge and enthusiasm was on another level. Austin was confident they could resolves my issues and was able to easily demonstrate the need for their services. Since part of my home's foundation had been sinking, an I-Beam was being pulled away from its footing. Austin was able to clearly demonstrate this with a picture and it was obvious the urgency expressed was not a sales tactic. It really was scary how little remaining contact the beam had with the footing; it couldn't have been more than a few 10th's of an inch. Austin assured me he could have his team come back within a few days to install a temporary support to ensure there was no catastrophic damage with we were waiting for a crew to be available to complete the project, if we decided to proceed. He was also able to provide a structural solution that would solve an issue with our floor flexing when lightly jumped on. US Waterproofing was clueless as to why it was happening, even after making them aware of the issue and having them inspect the area from above and below. It was clear that Austin was very experienced and knew what he was doing, but he still assured us one of their engineers would review his plan. In addition to the structural issues, I had more routine problems like a crack repaired by the previous homeowner that was starting to slowly leak and a window-well that would accumulate water after heavy rains. He was able to offer solutions. He also suggested installing buried gutter downspout extensions as preventative measure to avoid further damage to the home. Everything suggested made total sense and at no point did I feel like I was being up-sold or pressured to get a service I did not need. The 3rd company I was scheduled to meet with had to postpone our meeting. I was so wowed by Austin and his team that I felt confident that proceeding with The Real Seal was the right choice and ended up cancelling that appointment. Austin's pricing for the foundation pier system was exactly in line with what US Waterproofing had quoted, even though they weren't willing to commit to an actual decision and left that to an engineer that I would have to hire. But it was reassuring that they suggested the same number of piers for the same price. At least I wasn't getting conflicting information, and it was obvious that hiring a structural engineer to inspect, evaluate, and draw up plans would not be cheap either. Austin was true to his word and had a few guys out in just a few days to install the temporary support. When the project was completed at a later date, Austin and his team were nothing but responsive. I was a little worried that the location of a couple of the downspout exits might be problematic due to the grading of my yard. All I had to do was mention this and the exits were extended at no additional cost. We had planned on having my garage downspouts use the same exit as a few of the house downspouts. But while the project was underway, Austin felt it would be better to install their own exit on the other side of my property. He also had to call out an HVAC professional to redo ductwork that was in the way in the crawlspace. I was not charged extra for any of this. It is apparent that sticking to the original quote is extremely important and The Real Seal doesn't want their customers to be upset with any unexpected costs. All the work done was of the highest quality and every crew member was extremely courteous of my home. Overall this was a 10 out of 10 experience and I would highly recommend The Real Seal to anyone needing their services!

Service was great. The workers ran into a couple of hiccups on the day of the work, but they handled it professionally and got the job done. No water issues since. Our main contact was Dale, who was very responsive and helpful.

George did a fantastic job. He explained what he needed to do and kept us informed as he did the job. One of the cracks was sealed before but was not done well. Very professional. They will able to work on a Saturday and got both cracks sealed with lifetime warranty that goes with the house.

From the estimate to the guys who did the repair...excellent! Professional with a good sense of humor.

Overall I had a good experience. The work was good quality work and my basement has been dry. The only concern I had was that with the original inspection the inspector found all the cracks but didn’t recommend sealing the brick portion of the wall which sits on top of the foundation. The tech mentioned that if i didnt get this seal the water could potentially seep through the brick. Since the price was way better than the competitors i didnt have a big problem with moving forward.

Carlos and George walked me through as many steps and questions I wanted to ask, and then did it a second time when my spouse came home. They are passionate about their work and helping us. Real Seal did a great job. The estimator visited and walked me through everything, took his time to look for potential causes of a our problem, questioned up extensively about when we had problems and ended up suggesting that we start small (and inexpensive) to see if fixing a crack would solve problems. Other estimators with other companies went straight to really expensive drain tile systems without looking for other possible solutions. The work was scheduled promptly and they did a great job. They called back and checked on how everything was working 24 hours after the install, and scheduled a second visit to make sure everything was working well and that I was happy with the result. I would hire Real Seal again and highly recommend them.

I got 3 estimates for repairs for cracks in my basement foundation wall. The first was the cheapest but would have just filled in the crack. The second pointed out that the same wall had a previous crack and a large V shaped crack so that just filling in the cracks seemed insufficient and would have broken through the wall and added drain tile behind it to drain halfway around the house at the sump pit, and was by far the most expensive. The Real Seal was the third quote and was not only in the middle financially, but persuasive about why its proposed solution of carbon fiber staples to reinforce the wall made sense for my crack pattern. The rep and the ultimate technician were on-time, polite and seemed thorough. The warranty seems solid. Although I won't know for awhile whether the solution worked, I was happy with how the work appeared to go. The technician spent some extra time to help us avoid taking out some fixtures that were built into the wall, even though it caused extra work, and was polite throughout.

I was very pleased with the advance communication about arrival time, both for estimate and work to be done. Home is over one hundred years old, and cracks were nothing big. I appreciated that the estimator did not make too big a deal trying to scare us into getting more work done. The work was done by one employee who was very chatty, cleaned up well. Would recommend this firm to others.

The Repair tech Luis was very professional and informative. Luis explained the entire process in detail. I would definitely recommend the real seal ask for Luis he is a great tech.

The RealSeal team did a great job from start to finish. There were very responsive when I called to schedule someone to come out and give me a quote. Ben showed up right on time. He went to great lengths to fully explain the process, timelines and cost. At the time they were scheduling a few weeks out so there was a bit of a lag between quote and when the work was completed, but nothing unexpected. As the appointment approached The RealSeal reached out to confirm that the date and time were still good. On the day of the work George showed up right on time also. He too took his time explaining everything, checking to make sure that what was ordered is what was really needed and to point out some other issues that I might need to address. His work was very thorough, he communicated well with me and he cleaned up properly after himself. I would hire these folks again in a heartbeat.
