I purchased this refrigerator in April 2015. In the 4 months I have had it, the freezer has went up to over 40 degrees and thawed all of the contents. In both instances the freezer is working correctly again by the time the technician can get to my home a week later. Because of the amount of money I spent and the aggravation I would like a new refrigerator.

See above..... I spoke to the customer service manager last night (10/24/11) who told me that we would be put on the schedule for Wednesday 10/26/11 and that we will receive an automated call tonight (10/25/11) informing us of the window on Tuesday. It remains to be seen whether or not they will actually show up tomorrow. We are not going to hold our breath. We cannot believe the lack of support from Sears customer service. We have never experienced such run-around from such a large, well-respected company. Literally, we have the new refrigerator sitting in the middle of our living room and the old one in our kitchen--neither of them are working. We are now at day 7 without a working refrigerator. WE WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE AN APPLIANCE FROM SEARS. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING. ADDENDUM 10/26/11: Sears finally arrived to install our new refrigerator and to take away the old one. The delivery guys were very prompt and courteous and very helpful. Our issues have NOT been with the delivery men--ONLY with Sears customer service/scheduling. The two men who came out today to finish the job were very efficient and helpful.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator died last Wednesday 10/19/11. We purchased a new one from Sears in Woodfield Mall on Thursday 10/20/11 from a very helpful sales person (Gary Fauser). Delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday 10/22/11. Sears delivered the refrigerator as promised on Saturday (but not the water hose kit we were told to purchase for installation). Unfortunately, we had an issue with the shut-off valve, and Sears was unable to properly install the appliance. We were told that if we could get a plumber out that same day (10/22) to fix the problem (which we did), that someone would be able to come back the same day to finish the install. This was arranged, but then we received a call from the driver stating that they had 15 more stops to make and might not be able to get back to our house on Saturday. It was arranged between the driver and customer service that someone would be able to come out on Sunday morning 10/23/11 to finish the install. No one showed up on Sunday 10/23/11 nor did they call to inform us of this. We called Sears on Sunday evening and were told that we were never put on the list for Sunday and that the soonest someone could come out would be Tuesday 10/25/11. They never even had a record of our calls on Saturday. We were supposed to receive a call last night 10/24/11 informing us of the time the delivery guys would be at our home on Tuesday 10/25/11. We never received a phone call. When we finally got in touch with Sears customer service last night, they once again informed us that we were never put on the list for Tuesday and that there were no notes in the system to indicate the reason for the oversight. I asked to speak with a manager after the customer service rep showed absolutely no concern for our problem. Please keep in mind that we have a very small child and have had no working refrigerator for 6 days at this point. I tried to stress this fact to every Sears customer service person I spoke to on the phone, but no one cared--not one person.
