Description of Work: My bathroom sink was clogged, I called rotorooter. As I was having our cleaning services come the following day I wanted to go the simple route. I knew that Roto-Rooter would be a little expensive but after coming on site he said the standard rate for unclogging a sink was $560. Regardless if it takes 15 minutes or two hours but there was not guarantee. Ultimately I said that was too high and he reduced the rate to $400. It took him about 20 minutes to clear the drain. My drain pipe had a small leak after he was done no big deal I fixed it myself but he said he had no parts to fix it when he was done. I feel this company really is in business to price gauge people in need. So my suggestion is to stay away. Reminds me of during 9/11 there were the guys selling bottled water for $20 in NYC, these are those guys.

Description of Work: Floor drain was backing up when toilets flushed. We called this morning at 9am, and had a guy here by 10am! It was a dirty nasty job, but Charles C #2833 was a complete professional. He got us unclogged and back up and running in no time. Thanks Roto-Rooter and especially Charles C.

THE GUY CITED A PRICE THAT WAS VERY HIGH, AND WHEN WE SAID THAT WE NEEDED TO THINK ABOUT IT, HE SPOKE TO HIS BOSS AND AGREED TO GIVE US $50 OFF. HE WAS PRETTY MESSY WITH HIS WORK AND REQUIRED BAGS AND PAPER TOWELS FROM US. (HE SEEMED UNPREPARED FOR THE MESSY JOB HE WAS MAKING). ONE OF HIS PARTS BROKE AS HE WAS DOING THE JOB B/C OF THE CLOG, SO WE HAD TO REPLACE IT. PLUS, HIS VAN LEAKED ONTO OUR DRIVEWAY. THE ACTUAL JOB WAS DONE WELL, BUT ALL THE OTHER THINGS COULD USE IMPROVEMENT
