Rite Way Construction Developer

We contracted Riteway Construction 2021 to have an addition built to our house. The project was completed in 2022. They did a good job initially with procuring materials during COVID as well as getting most of the work done at that time. Jim has a lot of contacts which helped with procuring materials especially during COVID when materials were in shortage due to supply chain issues. One of the major issues during the project and even now after construction had been completed is communication. Throughout the project Jim was either super responsive or very hard to get in touch with. Since the project was finished, we have had issues with water leaks/damage. A few months after finishing the project we had some floor boards that needed to be replaced due to a water leak/unknown water damage, which was from earlier in the construction but never addressed. We tried to contact Jim for 1-1.5 months via text, calls and emails and were unsuccessful in getting touch with him.

Our addition experience with Jim and all his crews could not have gone better. Working in industry I can say for sure that Jim is a professional and I would recommend his crews to anyone. We put in a sizable addition to the house while our family was still living at the property, him and his crews could not have been more respectful during the whole process, and made what can be a stressful process in home additions honestly enjoyable. We recommend him to anyone and everyone that asks. We would definitely hire him again on future projects.

I needed some rehab work done in my condo due to a water disaster. Rite Way replaced the drywall, carpeting and bathroom cabinets. I elected to remodel the 2 bathrooms since the rehab was part of the deal. Beautiful tile work. Very happy with the finished project.

Had a large second addition added to my house and added additional square footage to my lower level. Jim was very professional and explained the entire process. His team did an exceptional job and good quality work. I would highly recommend Rite Way for any home addition project you will not be disappointed.

Jim was very professional, and personable. He helped us with our project from beginning to end and his team did very good quality work in a timely manner. Jim was very knowledgeable and made the process much easier. If you need a second story addition or remodel, I recommend his company.

Used Jim Dunne for home remodels project. He was great at first. Met with my wife and me a couple of times. He assured us, with his vast experience, he could do the job. After the contract was signed he turned into a different person. He stopped returning phone calls and texts. Told us to contact other workers and not him. Each meeting we had was either rescheduled or delayed because of some excuse (he claimed to be pulled over several times). He also took 3, yes 3, out of the country vacations in a four-month time frame. Not sure if he was truthful, but he was adamant that he could NOT be reached by phone. Some of the companies he hired were competent and did a very good job. But Jim was clueless on most of the elements of the job. He would show up, and we would have to walk him through what has happened and what needed to happen next. Highly unprofessional, very condescending, and never wrong. For someone who claims to have done this job for 30 years, he has no idea what he is doing. He is the perfect example of why there are stereotypes about contractors. We are currently finished with Jim and Rite-Way Construction, but we are still far from a completed home because of the sloppy and careless work done by Jim. Please find a different company if you value your time, money, and blood pressure.

They did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after their work. It was a good experience.

Jim, the owner was a man of his word. Reasonable, and easy to speak with concerning the project.

Tries very hard to make sure his customers are happy all through the process. Considers him self a "value engineer" and he works hard to live up to that.

Honest, excells at meeting expectations...Jim was very detailed and gave many options and no pressure, I would recommend his company to everyone.
