They did a great job! I thought their price was right compared to other companies I had spoken with. The were very polite and always cleaned up after their work. I have never heard anything bad about them and I have also recommended them to my family.

They started on the day they said they would, did an excellent job and finished in a timely fashion. Dave and Tony gave suggestions that were greatly appreciated. I am so happy with the finished product, it almost made the water damage worth the trouble.

We decided on Pella windows and Pella recommended Cunningham Construction. They had done quite a few of their installations and their customers were very happy. We asked for references and checked them. We were expecting the first installation project to take several days, but Dave and Tony had it done in 2-1/2. Their craftsmanship is unbeatable and their attention to detail is very welcomed. One thing that really impressed us was that when they left our home, they had cleaned up all the mess and taken all the debris with them. A couple of years later, we had more Pella windows done and there was never a question of who would install them. When we started looking for a company to handle our remodeling project, we did look at other contractors. Even though Cunningham Construction would cost us a little more, our confidence in them was worth it. As with any remodeling project on a 30+ year old home, there are surprises as the ceiling and drywall comes down. Dave was wonderful in working around and through these little surprises still providing us with the look we wanted. When a project requires skills that Cunningham Construction may lack, they have outside contractors that come in, under their supervision, to handle the task. We had a wonderful man who did the drywall taping and mud work. We have recommended Cunningham Construction to friends who have had windows installed and to remodel their home.

Dave Cunningham, has done replacement window work for 15 years. Work is always done promptly, neatly and professionally. Specializes in Pella windows, but can order and install other brands as well.

He is very easy to work with and offers a lot of suggestions which can open up your mind to see all options. He is a craftsman and very skilled at that. When he leaves your house everyday, your house is spotless. They clean up very well after themselves. I've had others do things for me and I can't even compare the other service providers to Cunningham Construction. He does absolutely outstanding work. If he tells you it is going to take an x amount of time he is very good at estimating the timeline of the project.

Very professional. Made all measurements and got necessary materials before starting job. Father and son are master carpenters. When finished everything was cleaned up perfectly.

The windows were delivered in November and the problems were obvious. The 10 windows for the bedrooms were delivered as Architect Series, not the Designer Series. The sliding patio door was not the correct size or series. The kitchen bay window was 8 inches longer than it should have been. Three village inspectors told us that the kitchen bay window was improperly ordered. A Pella employee came to our house and measured the opening for the window as 80.1 inches, much smaller than the 89 inch window that Cunningham ordered. Cunningham would not admit to any of his errors. We had to hire an attorney to represent us. The representatives from Pella from the West Chicago office stood behind Cunningham and said he could make the bay window fit by cutting it down to size, something that the Pella Corporation in Iowa said would void all the warranties. We had to fire Cunningham and buy the windows that were correctly ordered and the incorrectly ordered kitchen bay, because Pella said he could make it work. If you even consider hiring Cunningham to do any work around your house make sure you have enough money for the lawyer you will need to hire.
