Description of Work: Clar Electric did an amazing job installing new celing fans in our home. None of the junction boxes were present so they had to cut into the ceiling and wire everything. They did an amazing job!!

Description of Work: The electrician was very helpful in diagnosing a problem we were having with our can lights, he listened to me patiently while I described the problem and tried several things until we found what worked. He also installed some light fixtures (replacements) outside. He was here for over 3 hours and I found his fee very reasonable.

Description of Work: Re-wired several outlets. Kitchen, bathroom, and outlets where window ac units were plugged in, were all on one circuit and we constantly blew fuses. Also Replaced 2 outlets with gfi and added an outdoor outlet on porch. These guys were great. Clar electric came out and sorted out the electrical problems that we were having. It took investigating and problem solving and agility on their part and they did a great job. (nice people too.) Will definately call them again for future electrical work

Description of Work: Clar Electric took down two outside lights in which there had been a short. They also installed two new lights. The installation posed a challenge because a prior owner of the house had plastered over the box through which one of the lights was wired. Clar was very smart in "sleuthing out" where the box was likely to be, did minimal damage to the wall (with my permission) to uncover it, and then re-wired to both lights and finished the installation. The work was done well, neatly, promptly, and for a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: Two nights before, my son was watching TV and saw sparks coming from the outlet behind the TV. The TV went out. My son get behind there and pulled out the plug. The plug and the outlet was burned out. We needed an electrician you check out the wiring. He offered to come the day I called but I arainged for the next day. He checked the wiring and said it was fine and put a new outlet cover on it.

His crew is knowledgeable, skilled, pleasant, careful and neat. They always try to figure out the best way to do the job without messing up your house.

Description of Work: I called Clar electronic because I had an Arch in one of my outlets that morning - specifically it showered me with sparks to welcome me to Monday morning at about 5:30 am. I was also looking for someone to move a light box in my kitchen. When I contacted Jaime, he was very honest about when he would have availability to move the light box, but considered an arch an emergency situation so he came to look at that the same day. He was courteous, professional, exlplained what had happened and fixed the issue for the electrical outlets (2) that evening. I even had a quote for moving the light when i woke up the next morning! I would definitly use Clar electric again.

Description of Work: There was a partial blackout at the house in a cold day. Jamie came within one hour and found the cause and fixed it very quickly. That was a life saver because the furnace did not work due to the power failure.

Description of Work: Bought a foreclosure with lots of electrical hazards. Jami was responsive and informative on what needed to be done. Made minimal holes in walls = less wall repair for me. The whole team was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. I will definately use them again!!

Description of Work: They hung two drum lights in the kitchen. More complicated than normal because the ceiling is concrete and they couldn't move the electrical box, so they had to create a new way to hang them, with swags, etc. I can't explain it myself but they did a nice job. They were very careful to work with me to make precise measurements to have the fixtures centered over my table, etc. They were also friendly and polite.
