Jamie was very professional, prompt in getting an estimate and securing the install date. He said what would and would not be covered - mainly ceiling patching was the only thing they didn't do. The electricians were very prompt, courteous, and the whole project was completed more quickly than I'd expected. I'd definitely hire Jamie Clar again!

We couldn't be happier with Clar Electric's service. Jamie came out right away for a quote, even though it was a fairly small job. He was hopeful one of our issues could potentially be resolved right away, and spent 30 minutes trying to set it right. When that was unsuccessful (the house's fault, not Jamie's), he promptly sent us a detailed quote with what we considered a fair price. His crew arrived on time, and were the epitome of professional. After resolving our first issue, they found a way to do a partial fix (for less money!) for our other issue that could be done without tearing out our walls, and asked if I was interested, or wanted to proceed with the original plan. I was thrilled they worked to find a plan that worked for me that actually made them LESS money, as well as doing less damage to our home. We would absolutely hire Clar Electric again.

Jamie was great. He quickly identified and thoughtfully explained the problems. He informed us of the pros and cons of repairing vs. replacing fixtures and hardware. We needed the switch replaced, but we didn't need to address the basement lights right away. During the diagnostics and repair, he worked efficiently and carefully.

He's very reasonable. He's just a very nice man. I do remember that he charged me for some other work that I was very surprised at the low cost that he charged. He's very busy so I know when I call him that he is not going to get to me immediately but he usually tells me I can't get to you if you want to call somebody else. He's very cognizant of the fact that he's busy and if we have an emergency we call somebody else. I have used him several times. He's very personable. He does the work. He tells me if it's something I can do myself he tells me how to do it. I thought I needed a ballast changed on 3 different lights but I only needed one so he could have hosed me on that. So he is very honest.
