We first got an estimate of all the repairs that needed to be done from a list that our inspector gave us and it seemed really reasonable so we went with him. He was very nice and everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend. Courteous, friendly and prompt.

Jamie promptly returned my call, gave me an idea of costs and setup an appointment. Courteous and professional, he arrived on time and quickly solved my problems. The basement lighting problem was especially tricky in discerning the cause. Jamie was able to troubleshoot the problem and correct the faulty wiring.

Process went very well, Jamie's employee (Tom) was punctual and both were thorough and professional. They were very neat and were careful to clean up after the job. Both tasks mentioned above were completed within 3 hours.

Replied promptly to phone calls arrived on time for estimate and worked with me to get a date and time that was suitable to my schedule. Arrived on time and completed all work. Everything looks and works fine and am well pleased with results.

I would recommend them if someone asked me for an electrical contractor. Without even testing a short he found out what the problem was.

I would recommend him again. He was very professional. He came out and gave us an estimate and sent us the estimate the same day. He only took a few hours to give us the estimate. He made other suggestions to what fixtures we should buy and we took back the fixtures we had already purchase.

Estimate and Work were done on time. Work was completed, including the inspection, inside of the scheduled time of 2 days with time to spare.

Jamie was very professional, assuring me to try and replace bulb and starter myself. That this was a typical problem with this type of electrical fixture.

Jamie responded very promptly to my email request for a quotation and came to do the estimate within a couple days of our first contact. He's an amiable guy and very professional in both manner and workmanship. On the day the work was scheduled, the crew showed up on time, completed the work in almost exactly the amount of time they'd estimated, and cleaned up well after themselves.

It went well. They sent 2 men to complete the job. They were on time, knowledgeable, and the work was completed quickly and correctly. It took them about 2 - 2.5 hours. It only took them about 15 minutes to figure out the closet light problem, so they didn't charge me for it. They did tell me what it would take to get it fixed though. I am happy with the overall job.

Jaime Clar did a wonderful job! He returned my call right away when I contacted him. He made an appointment to come out and look at it. I was supposed to be home but I ran late, he went in the backyard and checked things out for us. When I called to apologize, he knew what needed to be done and how long it would take and an estimate. On the day of the scheduled job, it was cold out and I asked if he wanted to reschedule due to the weather. He declined and showed up as scheduled. He finished the work and everything is working great. He is a very nice man, friendly and social. I would highly recommend him for any type of electrical work, in fact I am planning to have him back for more work in the house.

We are very pleased with the work done by Clar Electric. We like doing business with local companies. Jamie came out to give us a quote on the same day that we called. He checked a line that I was worried about while he was there. The work was planned around our schedule, and the electricians showed up exactly at the time they said they would.

Jamie came over to take a look and give us an estimate. After quite a bit of detective work, not surprising since it's an old house, Jamie came up with a solution and go ahead and did the work right then, and the price was reasonable given the time spend diagnosing. We were very happy with the work and he clearly enjoyed the challenge of the old house.

Jamie was very nice over the phone told me exactly what it would cost. He was on time and installed my new light fixture perfectly, made sure I liked the height etc. He cleaned up everything and even moved the old light fixture for me to the garage because it was really heavy.

Everything was as quoted. They were on time, very neat, and finished in about 3.5 hours.

Jamie came out to give me an estimate first. I told him that our new dishwasher was triggering the circuit breaker off, so he replaced it. He then came back out the following week to complete the rest of the work after the new ceiling fan I'd ordered came in. He was very efficient and thorough with all the work he did. We would definitely have him back if and when we need an electrician again!

We found Jamie through Angie's list, and contacted him via email. He quickly responded (on a Saturday) and offered to talk us through the problem over the phone to avoid a service call. After explaining the detail of our mess, we set up an appointment for Monday afternoon. Jamie called to let us know that he was on his way to our house, and promptly arrived thereafter. He quickly demonstrated his electrical expertise and aptitude (explaining relevant code and that which we screwed up), and he clearly is a master electrician (20 years experience in the trade). He quickly troubleshooted the problem, and before long we again had power restored to the other half of our house. He explained in understandable terms that which we already knew - that we did successfully connect the wiring on our own (we just did it WRONG). Jamie was pleasant, humorous, and most important, did not make us feel embarrassed by our mess. Rather he just confirmed that we are not electricians. Thanks Jamie!

Best electrical contractor I have worked with. Jamie Clar was prompt in arriving to do the estimate, and he was clear in scheduling the service date and scope of the work. His crew, Phil and Tom arrived on time and finished early--- in spite of unexpectedly having to spend a lot of time in a cramped attic space, tracing/locating the wiring in my older home. When they were finished, everything worked perfectly. The project took less time than originally estimated, and the price for labor was adjusted downward to reflect this. A pleasure to do business with Clar Electric. Highly recommended.

It was absolutely wonderful. They called back to us within fifteen minutes and came out within the hour. He scheduled the work to be done after we came home from vacation. He arrived on the day of work when he said he would be there. He completed the work in a timely manner with excellent workmanship. He was very professional. In fact we was so good that we have contracted for him to do another job and would be glad to recommend him to anyone.
