Outstanding results. Crew seemed very careful and skilled. Swept up, and did not leave more than unavoidable debris afterward, carried old fixtures to garage as asked. I added to the original order, which contributed to the final bill being higher than the original estimate.

Jamie Clar was very prompt to respond with the original request for estimate. Jamie is very knowledgeable in his trade, and the cost estimate, work that needed to be done, and time estimates were all very accurate. Jamie and his crew were very punctual on every visit, and this helped greatly with our scheduling. The job went smoothly without a single hitch, and we attribute it to the experience and skill of Jamie Clar. We are very happy with the quality of the work performed. Jamie also helped with the permits and arranged for the inspections. We were highly impressed by the professionalism and courteous nature of Jamie and his crew. Clar Electric provided all the contract paperwork we requested. All in all, working with Jamie was a great experience. Clar Electric is definitely the firm we will be recommending to friends and calling first for all our subsequent electrical needs.

The job went perfectly. We contracted with Best Buy to install our wall mounted TV. Without an outlet located close to the ceiling, we would of had to run the plug wire down the wall and it would have been exposed. The TV installers were scheduled on Thursday. The previous Friday I was in panic mode and needed to find an electrician to install an outlet. I searched Angie's List for Grade "A" contractors and came upon Clar Electric. I phoned them and left a voicemail around 10:00AM on Friday. 20 minutes later I received a call from Jamie. I explained the situation and what I would like to do. Jamie was able to give me an exact cost right then. I asked him what his scheduled looked like for this week (hoping I could get it done before the installers arrived) and he told me he could do it on the following Monday. Talk about responsiveness! We agreed on 1:00PM. A little before 1:00 Jamie called me just to let me know he was going to be about 15 minutes late. A lot of contractors arrive when they arrive and never notify you that are going to be late. When Jamie arrived I showed him the wall where we needed the outlet and he went right to work. Not knowing what he was going to do (I assumed there would be drywall work when he was done) I was pleasantly surprised to see that except for the hole where the outlet would go, no other drywall was touched. In fact when he was done it looked like the outlet was put in when the house was built. While he was working he showed me some techniques that I will use in future projects. I also asked him about upgrading our service to 200 AMPs. Other contractors would have smelled more business and pushed me to upgrade the service. Jamie came right out and said unless I was going to install a hot tub or do an addition, the 100 AMP service I had was fine. Jamie also took the time to clean up the area. I was impressed with the quality of work, his knowledge and ability to explain things in terms I understood.

We first got an estimate of all the repairs that needed to be done from a list that our inspector gave us and it seemed really reasonable so we went with him. He was very nice and everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend. Courteous, friendly and prompt.

Jamie promptly returned my call, gave me an idea of costs and setup an appointment. Courteous and professional, he arrived on time and quickly solved my problems. The basement lighting problem was especially tricky in discerning the cause. Jamie was able to troubleshoot the problem and correct the faulty wiring.

Process went very well, Jamie's employee (Tom) was punctual and both were thorough and professional. They were very neat and were careful to clean up after the job. Both tasks mentioned above were completed within 3 hours.

Replied promptly to phone calls arrived on time for estimate and worked with me to get a date and time that was suitable to my schedule. Arrived on time and completed all work. Everything looks and works fine and am well pleased with results.

Jamie and his crew did an outstanding job. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional. They worked extremely efficiently to complete the job as fast as possible without taking any shortcuts. I would recommend them if someone asked me for an electrical contractor. Without even testing a short he found out what the problem was.

I would recommend him again. He was very professional. He came out and gave us an estimate and sent us the estimate the same day. He only took a few hours to give us the estimate. He made other suggestions to what fixtures we should buy and we took back the fixtures we had already purchase.

Jamie was prompt, courteous, and did a good job. Nothing more you could ask from a Electrician. He quoted us a price from our initial phone call and that's what we paid.

Estimate and Work were done on time. Work was completed, including the inspection, inside of the scheduled time of 2 days with time to spare.

Jamie was very professional, assuring me to try and replace bulb and starter myself. That this was a typical problem with this type of electrical fixture.

Jamie responded very promptly to my email request for a quotation and came to do the estimate within a couple days of our first contact. He's an amiable guy and very professional in both manner and workmanship. On the day the work was scheduled, the crew showed up on time, completed the work in almost exactly the amount of time they'd estimated, and cleaned up well after themselves.

It went well. They sent 2 men to complete the job. They were on time, knowledgeable, and the work was completed quickly and correctly. It took them about 2 - 2.5 hours. It only took them about 15 minutes to figure out the closet light problem, so they didn't charge me for it. They did tell me what it would take to get it fixed though. I am happy with the overall job.

Jaime Clar did a wonderful job! He returned my call right away when I contacted him. He made an appointment to come out and look at it. I was supposed to be home but I ran late, he went in the backyard and checked things out for us. When I called to apologize, he knew what needed to be done and how long it would take and an estimate. On the day of the scheduled job, it was cold out and I asked if he wanted to reschedule due to the weather. He declined and showed up as scheduled. He finished the work and everything is working great. He is a very nice man, friendly and social. I would highly recommend him for any type of electrical work, in fact I am planning to have him back for more work in the house.

We are very pleased with the work done by Clar Electric. We like doing business with local companies. Jamie came out to give us a quote on the same day that we called. He checked a line that I was worried about while he was there. The work was planned around our schedule, and the electricians showed up exactly at the time they said they would.

I will use again for any electrical problems.

Jamie came over to take a look and give us an estimate. After quite a bit of detective work, not surprising since it's an old house, Jamie came up with a solution and go ahead and did the work right then, and the price was reasonable given the time spend diagnosing. We were very happy with the work and he clearly enjoyed the challenge of the old house.

Jamie was very nice over the phone told me exactly what it would cost. He was on time and installed my new light fixture perfectly, made sure I liked the height etc. He cleaned up everything and even moved the old light fixture for me to the garage because it was really heavy.

Everything was as quoted. They were on time, very neat, and finished in about 3.5 hours.

Jamie came out to give me an estimate first. I told him that our new dishwasher was triggering the circuit breaker off, so he replaced it. He then came back out the following week to complete the rest of the work after the new ceiling fan I'd ordered came in. He was very efficient and thorough with all the work he did. We would definitely have him back if and when we need an electrician again!
