They did an outstanding job, punctual, clean and thorough. I was amazed at how fast the job was completed, and they even cleaned the areas up really good. I am looking forward to my next projects, and will not hesitate in the future to use Clar Electric.

He always showed up on time when he was scheduled to show up. He did a fantastic job on the ceiling fan with lights. In regards to the light fixture in the laundry room we thought we were going to have to replace the entire unit but he was able to re-wire the fixture and get it fixed at no cost to us. Overall have had a great experience when using them for any electrical projects being done.

Jamie arrived on time and quickly solved the problem. He also checked another ceiling fixture I was concerned about.

My experience w/ Jamie went great. He came out on a Sunday and showed up on time. He diagnosed the issue of lost electricity in my garage. This involved going to the neighbors house and shutting their electricity off, going into their garage, etc (I live in a townhouse w/ attached garages). He figured out that the neighbors asphalt had sunk down causing our wire to break. He came up w/ a solution so that it wouldn't happen again in the future if the asphalt continues to shift. Jamie was very knowledgeable. He seemed like a very genuine and honest person. I will definitely call him again should another issue arise.

Highly recommended. All interactions with Jamie were timely and professional. Reasonably and fairly priced. We had a ceiling fan installed in our master bedroom which did not previously have a fan or light fixture. Installation was fast and smooth and there were no issues. The quoted price was $135. I used them because of their reputation and someone's previous experience with them. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I have nothing bad to say about them.

They were clean, friendly, and punctual. The work they did was fine.

Called Clar Electric for an estimate on having recessed lighting installed and Jamie came out promptly, answered all our questions and provided ideas on types of lights. He recommended the "eyeball" style lights for the dining area since they would be installed on a vaulted ceiling. These lights can be positioned to point downwards or where the light is needed. We hadn't even thought of that, so we were glad he suggested it. Jamie emailed us the estimate that evening and we scheduled the work to be done. The two electricians who installed the lights were very friendly and professional. The work was completed in two days and each day they cleaned the area before leaving. The first day Jamie stopped by and checked that everything was going as planned, and he also came when the work was completed and made sure we were happy with the job. The whole process went very smoothly and Jamie was very prompt when answering our questions by phone or email.

The price was reasonable. He was very easy to talk to, very responsive. I would use them again.

I would use Clar again for sure. Provided an in-line quote and was on time. I had a list of things to do and he was honest in telling me that I can do some things myself and not pay him to do it. Did the work he said he was going to do, explained what was going on and why - made me comfortable the work was done right.

I would use Clar Electric again in a heart beat! We first contacted them in the Spring to assess some electrical issues discovered during our home inspection on a 1940's era home we were purchasing. We were in a bit of a time crunch with attorney review and Jamie was able to make arrangements to come out the same evening we called. He was able to assess the electrical issues and provide us with an idea of what we had to do to correct them- as well as a cost. This assessment and estimate were all free. Once in the house, we worked with Jamie to address these issues. Two electricians arrived on the day we scheduled right on time. They were both very professional and competent in what they were doing. Jamie arrived a little while later to check in on things and also bring a few supplies.The work was done quickly and professionally. After they completed the agreed upon work, there were a couple of other issues that had come up between the initial estimate and the service date. Jamie and his team addressed these that day without any additional cost, even though I was willing and expected to pay more. I would highly recommend Jamie and his team to any of my friends or family. His services are excellent and the prices were fair.

Jamie's crew arrived right at 8am, as they were supposed to. I walked through the house with them letting them know which fixtures went where and they got right to work. The mess (dust and debris) was truly minimal, I was expecting it to be significantly worse, but the guys did their best to make sure the only made opening where it was absolutely necessary. Any questions they had or wanted an opinion on they came to me, which was greatly appreciated. Jamie showed up on site a little later and helped his crew out and supervised the remainder of the project. Before he left he walked through the house to make sure everything was as it should be. They did a great job and everything looks wonderful. I will definitely use them for future projects.

Jamie (the company president) was very prompt in coming out to give me an estimate and emailed me a copy that afternoon. When I didn't follow-up with him about getting the work done until 8 months later (!), he was very professional and scheduled the job within two weeks of my request. He even honored his original estimate, which he didn't have to do and was very nice! The workmen showed up promptly at 8am, described the work they were going to do, and quickly got to work. They were respectful, kind, and answered all of my questions. When they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves (my garage floor was cleaner than before they started!), put everything back where it had come from, and said a friendly goodbye. Jamie came by to check the work, go over my invoice, and take payment. He was very friendly and chatted with my cat and I for a little while before going on his way. It was a pleasure working with Clar Electric and I will definitely do business with them again!

I think they may have used slightly larger lights so had to make a larger hole. It took about an hour. Everything was left clean when they were finished. They also checked my attic fan to see if it was working which it was.

Jamie was quickly able to assess that it was indeed the pump causing us problems. He spent about an hour to correct the problem. Total time here 1.5 hours and charged us more than a reasonable cost. As an aside, Jamie manages to be very friendly and professional at the same time. It's been a week and we have not lost power once. Any time we need an electrician, I wouldn't call anyone else.

Jamie returned my call promptly, came over when I got home from work to see what I wanted done and then sent me an estimate, which I accepted. He gave me a date to perform the work and he and his co-worker arrived at 8 am. They replaced a recessed light on the stairway, which was really ugly and not fitting well, installed a new light at the end of an upstairs hallway where there was no light and most importantly, they installed a ceiling fan in my living room, where there also was no existing light fixture. I was very impressed - no marks on the ceiling, no holes showing and no mess left behind. And the fan has been a true blessing. And for good measure, he even replaced a light fixture for me which I'd been waiting about 18 months for my son to do. They were very pleasant to work with, did a good job, left no mess and I was very satisfied. I told Jamie I would be calling him back when I was ready to replace my outside lighting. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Great experience with Clar Electric. Jamie was very prompt in returning my original request for an estimate. For the appointment itself, Jamie and his team were very courteous & friendly. They placed drop cloths down and left everything as it was before they came. The work was performed efficiently & done well. While my first experience with Clar Electric, I won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

everythign was fine, but they were booked beyond the date we needed so we had to go with another electrician. Clar was very understanding and professional about the situation. They knew exactly was needed ot be done and consultedon any problems that may arise.

The electrician's at Clar came to the house and worked consistently and diligently to update 8 circuits in our house. They were courteous and helpful and great to work with on the project.

This is my third or fourth experience with Clar Electric. As always, they are top notch. Clar is my go-to electrical guy every time. He installed an electrical fan with a new dimmer switch and re-wired the switches. He showed up on-time, completed within the estimated time and cost.

We have a hundred year old house and they replaced the wires with copper wires. They were prompt and really good to work with. Every morning when they came to work the guys were professional and polite. We were still living in our Condo and the supervisor came by to give us updates on the work they were doing and I thought that was nice. We would use them again in the future if we needed to.

Our experience was positive from beginning to end. Jamie promptly returned my email and after further discussion of the work we needed done, he provided a fair and accurate estimate. His team members showed up right on time and worked with us to address each issue. The outlet installation was a bit tricky due to the placement of the box and existing drawers in the island -- they gave us several options and ultimately found a solution that was optimal. It was quite obvious that these gentlemen know what they are doing and I have complete confidence in the work they performed. We have an extensive amount of work (both correcting of old work and adding of new items) that we need done and I plan to call Clar Electric for the remainder of these items.
