Jamie and the guys were great. I can't speak high enough about their work and how professional it was. They were on time, worked efficiently, and got the job done. I'd recommend them to anyone and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I was so impressed with this company that I had them return the following week to do more work. Once again, Clar Electric was able to come out on short notice to install the closet lights. The work needed to be completed quickly because I had a painter who was scheduled as well. This was my second favorable experience with Clar Electric.

Clar Electric was wonderful to work with! I was under some time restraints and Jamie, the owner, was responsive and did his best to accommodate my schedule. The electricians, Phil and Tom, were professional, respectful, and cleaned up thoroughly - although there wasn't much to clean up. They were very careful and the holes they made were minimal and easily patched. The cans were inserted with such precision! In addition to their craftsmanship, they were all around nice guys. Jamie came by to check everything when they were finished. This company gets a big thumbs up!

He was really good. The receiver of the fan wasn't working, so he called the company and had them send me another receiver and told me to give him a call when I got it he could come back and fix it. He was very efficient and polite. He didn't get frustrated at all that the receiver didn't work. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

Everything went well. The problem was found and fixed promptly. Great communication from the time I made the appointment to the arrival time of Jamie. I would highly recommend them!

He said he would be there in 2 hours but made it in 1 and the charge was $100 but he did it for $50.

Called on Sunday and called back in two hours. Great customer service. Stated they had a busy day on Monday but could fit me in. As I explained my power in my kitchen went out. They arrived on time and figured out what the problem was and replaced the wiring in the wall and the outlets. All around great experience. Would definitely hire again and recommend.

Superb response on a Sunday and a very reasonable price. He discovered builder carelessness in the electric panel as several wires were loose and some burnt which exacerbated the surge issue which blew a light bulb and fluorescent ballast.

The project went smoothly and was completed ahead of schedule. I'd also like to add that Jamie has been exceptionally responsive every time I've called him. His firm has done three or four projects for us over the years and each one was completed with a high level of professionalism. Further, I've called Jamie a couple times when I've run into a snag doing small electrical repairs and he has been very helpful each time. Plus, each time he has called back later to check back to make sure that everything went well. Jamie is a real pro and I have recommended him to any friends who've asked about electrical contractors.

Electrician very good. Was a little surprised that the replacement cost for the grounded outlet itself was $20ish. Maybe it is a better quality than what I can purchase at a big box store. Aside from that all was good

Jamie is fantastic. He is responsive and knowledgeable, instills confidence b/c you can just tell he knows what he is doing. No nonsense kind of guy and is going to get the job done. I know he is busy but he was always responsive and I will always go back to him for any electrical work we need.

The provider arrived exactly on time, was friendly, efficient, knowledgable and did a great job replacing the loose switch cover and the ballast in a short time. The cost was $99 for an Electrical Service Call--Including Labor with an extra charge of 25.00 for the ballast.

We set up a time to view the job and ask for a proposal. Once agreed upon, Clar Electric was prompt with the date of service. Jamie answered all our questions and offered knowledgable assistance with the items we needed for the project. The work was performed professionally to our satisfaction. We accomplished our landscaping goals working with Clar Electric and will be using this company again in the future. A++ all the way!

We've used Jamie before & we always contact him now whenever we need electrical work done. As always, he responded quickly when I emailed him. He arranged to come out a couple of weeks later, when he & my husband would both be available & the work wasn't urgent. The replacement of the three outdoor lamps--we had bought new ones at Home Depot--went routinely except that Jamie pointed out that the mounting block for one of them should be encased in a box by a carpenter or handyman. He also replaced the old indoor light fixture on the ceiling of our staircase that leads down from our kitchen to the garage--we are on a slope. My tall husband had more than once hit his head on the old standard bulb sticking down from it & Jamie replaced it with a flush-mounted LED that we had bought at Home Depot. The remaining indoor light fixture was on the ceiling of our walk-in bedroom closet. We had left it on all winter as, once we turned it off, it was hard to turn back on. Jamie found that the problem was the wall switch & he replaced it. The last & hardest task was replacing the old outdoor floodlights. The fixture was mounted just beneath the roof apex at the top of the second story in back, over the driveway. The only way we've ever been able to change the old standard floodlight bulbs was to climb up on the roof... bad situation. Jamie came back on August 8 with his truck & twenty-foot ladder, safely climbed the ladder, & installed the new LED fixture we had bought at Home Depot. Since they're LED's, we're hoping we'll never have to change them again. Jamie looked at the old 2'x4' kitchen ceiling fixture & offered options: We could try putting all new fluorescent bulbs in it & see how it did; or he could replace the ballasts; or he could replace it with a new fixture. His first advice was to try the new bulbs, i.e. he first suggested the least expensive option for us, which we always notice & appreciate. We have not been able to find a new 2'x4' fixture for sale anywhere but so far the new bulbs seem to be doing the job. If not, we'll call Jamie again & decide what to do.

Called and explained the problem to the owner. We set up the first available appointment. He called 15-20 minutes before arriving during the two hour time frame that had been set up in the initial phone call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a new doorbell button and chime. The doorbell works correctly for the first time in years. Two previous "handymen" with electrical experience could not repair the doorbell. Clar Electric had in operating in ten minutes.

Clar Electric is a rare gem and here are some reasons why. Jamie is an amazing communicator with superb customer service skills. He responded immediately to all emails and I received his estimate and scheduled the work all within 24 hours of first contacting him. Though my project required Jamie deviate a little from his normal practices, he could not have been more professional and accommodating in working with me. Jamie is very knowledgeable and gave clear and precise answers to all my questions, even those not related to this project. His team of technicians, Tom and Phil, are efficient and skilled electricians and did excellent work on the installations including making adjustments where necessary. They also completed work not included in the estimate at no charge. Other than the addition of beautiful lighting, attractive ceiling fans and a state of the art thermostat they left my home as they found it and everything is working perfectly. This team is professional, polite, friendly and just generally easy to work with. I highly recommend Clar Electric and for me they sit atop the electrical kingdom.

We communicated via email regarding my electrical concerns. The reason I selected this particular Big Deal was it stated they would problem solve the electrical work. After I identified my electrical concerns, the individual requested that I purchase new items prior to making a visual evaluation and assessment even after I requested him to do so. I do not see purchasing all new items prior to an inspection as problem solving. Therefore, I selected another company.

I am very impressed with my service from Clar Electric. After I submitted my request to Mr Clar, he promptly responded with the day and times he had available. On the day of the appointment, he called to inform me of his estimated arrival time. He arrived as promised, and after a brief explanation of what I needed, he immediately began to uninstall my old lights and put up the new. I was so happy that he took extreme care not to damage the old fixtures in case I needed to us them elsewhere. While installing one of my lights, Mr. Clar noticed that during a previous installation, something was not done correctly. With a little ingenuity, he informed me what he intended to do to overcome the problem. Afterwards, he discovered that my junction box where I wanted to have the timer installed was too small. Instead of proposing replacing the junction box and rerouting the wiring (something that would have cost significantly more), he took the time to look for other options. Consequentially, he found an alternative junction box to use so that my small project would stay small. Before leaving, Mr. Car recapped what he did and took the time to answer my questions. Everything was done within 2 hours - including cleaning up. Clar Electric's appreciation for small jobs has made me a customer for life! Thank you Mr.Clar for helping me to get this project done on time and within budget.

Jamie provided excellent, fast and professional service. He explained exactly what was required and how he was completing the repairs. He was on time and very reasonably priced.
