I can't be more please with the way he transformed by fireplace. For this size and stone fireplace it took 7 hours, but only because he takes his talent to perfection. After sealing off the space, he begins with the first step as shown in the video. After that he starts to critique the hues to get the right balance of shading. If your looking, which you are if you're here, you won't be disappointed. This company is Professional, talented, perfectionist, friendly, on-time.

Harry stained our vaulted fireplace and did an amazing job, we couldn't be happier with the finished look. He stained it using complimentary colors from our Family Room and was able to accommodate color preferences from both myself and my wife. Afterwards, the stain work looked like natural stone colors and exceeded our expectations. Harry does outstanding, professional work and color consulting to get the perfect color blend to your tastes. And his prices are very fair, not over-priced at all. We would highly recommend him for any brick or stone transformation project you have.

i have been wondering what to do with a brick fireplace that covered the whole wall in my family room. luckily i stumbled upon the brick transformers website. harry and his son did an incredible job, the name brick transformers is perfect!!! they transformed a 40 year old very dark fireplace into a light modern looking fireplace. harry started with a small test area, he then had my wife come into the room and the two of them worked together to come up with the perfect shade for the fireplace. the job was completed in one long day, harry and his son were extremely careful to leave the house the same way they found it, they did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves i would highly recommend them

This was a wonderful experience!!! I contacted Henry about an awful fireplace which was all rock and spanned the entire length of the living room. The fireplace from the previous owner was not maintained. Henry immediately responded to my messages and during all times kept the communication open and professional. I did contract and the work began on time and ended on time with an amazing result. I was so impressed I also did two smaller brick areas. Henry listened to what I wanted the fireplace to look like and as his name states it was transformed. Everyone who has seen this fireplace can't believe how great it looks. I had been looking for quite a while to find a solution to this problem and I am very happy to find Brick Transformers. Thank you Angies list and I totally recommend this service.

We used Harry at Brick Transformers to stain the exterior of our brick home. It was a very big project as our house is almost entirely brick. We loved everything about our house except for the pink brick color. For awhile, we thought it was just something we had to live with until I came upon the concept of brick staining. I checked out a few different companies and thought Brick Transformers was by far the best. I felt that the other companies didn't even compare to Harry's work on how well the finished product looked. With this being such a huge undertaking and such a permanent job, we wanted to make sure we had the best person for the job. We are extremely happy we hired Harry. Our house looks beautiful with its new color! Harry makes the stain look very natural. If you were to walk down the street you would never be able to tell that this wasn't the house's original color. We have gotten a ton of compliments on the house from neighbors and friends. My husband was very skeptical of the whole idea of brick staining at first. Now that the job is done, he agrees that it was a great decision and in his words "worth every penny!" It looks like a brand new house and we are so happy with it!

We had our fireplace over laid in stone. The installer used the wrong mortar. It was purple! Harry came and did a fabulous job. He is a true artist and professional. We would have had to tear down the stone without his fix. If we had met him sooner, I would have had him change our previous brick instead of doing it in stone. He is everything all the reviews say and more. Don't hesitate using his services!

Everything went very well. By sending pictures to Harry, showing some damaged stone and giving him an idea of what the existing stone fireplace looked like, top to bottom, he was able to give me an estimate and we set up a date for the work. Harry is an artist and very good at what he does!! He and his son came out at the planned time, got the area prepared for work, hanging plastic etc. and we discussed color ranges. He gave us a sample of the colors and where they would be and later on, after work progressed for awhile, took another look, adding more color here and there. He blended everything so nicely and balanced the colors beautifully!! We were very pleased with the out come. Luckily the damaged stone we had had previously, turned out to be a pretty easy fix and it looks great too. The existing tile hearth needed to be changed as well, so the tiles were sanded and the magic of the paint brush and the right colors transformed the tile to blend very well with the stone work. Later that day, my husband had a mishap and moved the couch back before the paint was completely dried and made a scratch on one of the tiles. I called Harry about it and he was very calm, said no worries and we arranged for him to come out again, so it worked out he was able to stop by on his way to another job and touched it up and it's good as new. Even though I offered to pay for the repair, he declined. Harry and his son were just great to have here. Very pleasant guys, very good at what they do, and go out of the way to make things just right.

It went great! House looks like a new house now. He answered any questions I had and we picked out the colors that I wanted the brick to be together. He did a sample on part of the brick for me and asked me if that was good. I thought it looked great so he started doing the rest of the house. He was very professional and he worked and worked-only took time to eat lunch then back to work he went. I am really amazed on how great the house looks now. I am so glad I was able to find someone like him to give my house a good look. He cleaned up each day after he was done and at the end of job he cleaned up everything and put everything back where it belonged. He called me out there every time he got a big section done and asked me if I liked it which I thought was good. This way if I really didn't like the look he could change what every I didn't like. I said LOOKS GREAT!! KEEP GOING! I would highly recommend Brick Transformers if you are looking for a way to make your brick look better. Plus it is a lot cheaper then trying to take off the brick and replace it or trying to find someone that will go over the brick with siding. That is very expensive. I used the hate the brick on the house but now I love it! It looks so good now. I give Brick Transformers a A++++++

The work and the overall experience went great. We weren't sure what to do about the brick since it didn't look like we wanted and were considering several more expensive options when I stumbled on Brick Transformers. He did the work quickly and made sure to clean everything up after. The fireplace looks great now!

The process took a little longer than I expected but the detail was also better than I expected. My husband and I weren't sure what we were going to do with the brick but after finding Brick Transformers online it looked promising. Harry sent images of several staining options before the project began to get an idea of what direction to take and then he was very careful to ask my opinion at several points in the project to be sure it was looking like I wanted. He also discovered some damage to or chimney and filled in the mortar before proceeding. We have had nothing but raves on the finished work and were completely pleased with the process.

Brick Transformers were on time and did a great and detailed job. They undercut my fireplace into a half of whatever it was and made it perfect. Heis just not a painter but a trained person who can transform your fireplace. I would definitely use them in future and have also recommended him to others.

Brick Transformers were incredibly responsive and very professional. Our brick fireplace was made of pinkish color bricks and we were considering painting them but had heard about brick staining and searched for a contractor online and on the internet. After seeing "before and after" pictures on Brick Transformers website we decided to get an estimate and scope of work from them. We contacted them via email and they were responsive to all of our questions. We found a brick color that a family member had in their house and luckily they had extra bricks for us to show Brick Transformers to try to match the color. They matched it perfectly! It took two full days of staining but the results were amazing and completely transforming to the look of our fireplace and our entire family room. They were professional throughout the process including covering and taping the whole room so none of our furniture or flooring got stained and they cleaned up properly at the end of the project. We would highly recommend them.

Years ago we had painted our fireplace brick white and was now looking to have it redone. Not knowing if it was even possible to bring back a brick color, I went online and came across Brick Transformers. At the website I scrolled through many fireplace photos and found exactly the color I was looking for. I filled out the contact information and within the hour Harry had called me to schedule an appointment. He came out the Monday before Thanksgiving and I found him to be very personable and professional. He was on time and took good care to be very clean around our project and home. He finished in one day and we could not believe the transformation!! The color was beautiful! It even made our room look larger and brought out the color in the fireplace mantle. We wanted to update the look of our family room and felt our brick color was very dated (26 year old home). We research options and resurfacing brick was super expensive.
