The staff member (Ryan) was very nice. Ryan was an A. They came out and found more issues than were covered by the initial Big Deal purchase. Found 5 vents that he wanted to screen for $3,000 including deoderizing and spraying insulation. Then changed the quote to a lower offer by spraying and only screening one vent taking the cost to $495. Explained that we needed to deodorize and sanitize to prevent more squirrels from coming back to attic. It would have been $195 for the screen and $300 for the deodorizer. These prices seemed to be over priced. We decided to go with just placing the one vent screened. They cleared the check well before any service was done. We had another company come out and quoted much lower and providing more screening for security. The ABC company only has an accountant that comes in twice a week to write a refund check which would take weeks to get here. We discussed the ability to get a refund and we were told that the technician would refund the money. The staff member with whom we spoke hung up on our call. We had to issue them a check before they left on Friday and they performed not services.

The representatives of ABC were all very professional and showed up promptly to remove animals from the trap when reported. However, I did feel that the price of $75 per visit to the house was a little expensive especially when multiple animals had to be removed.

Poor response and very superficial attention to the job. More of a show then what was promised as a discounted service. Will not asked them to do any project with us.

Very well, but they are always MUCH more expensive than anyone!!!! I was shocked when he gave me the quote!

They were timely and knowledgeable. Everything went fine and I would recommend them if you need animals removed

Read the fine print.. $39 is to set the trap. It's another $75 for every additional visit. What is worse is that after the opossum was caught, the company was notified at 9:16 AM. that morning. The animal was not picked up till 7:00 PM that evening. The temp was 90 degrees, the trap was covered in black plastic and it sat there for 10 hours. If I had done that to a dog or cat I would now be in jail for animal cruelty. I know it's only a opossum but they are not very "HUMANE" to the wildlife.

Received a call saying I am out of their service area (they are in Arlington Heights, IL the job is in Harvey, IL) they don't come this far. I would call/hire again if they were to service in South Suburbs.

I called them and explained what the issue was. They were super responsive and set an appointment with me right away. They told me the cost up front and set up a time that would work around my work schedule. They had everything removed and cleaned up within five minutes! It was great!

It was okay. There were no additional charges. They were average. They should be more knowledgeable. They told me things I already knew.

I set up an appointment for Thursday or Friday and was told that I would get a call between 9am-10:30 for my time. I called around 10am and was told to wait until 10:30. I had not received a call by 10:45 so I called back. I was then told there was no appointment in the system. I had to reschedule for the following Monday after I had already taken off the whole day. I was told since the technician would only being looking at the outside of the how initially no one would have to be at home on Monday. On Monday, I was called by the manager and was told that someone would have to be at home to give the technician access to the attic. So once again, I had to reschedule. I rescheduled for that Tuesday. They finally came out and did the work.

First poor experience with Angie's List. Paid $39 for trapping service and ended up paying this amount only to obtain a quote. They have no ability to schedule within a day regardless of how far in advance you book. They call around 9.30 to 10.00 on the day of service. Call I received was from an unlisted number. If you are fortunate enough to answer they will tell you when they can be there during the scheduled day. The representative showed up and without doing any work of even looking around said "yes, you have animals under your deck". He then advised that trapping was useless as you would attract other animals and even neighbor's pets to the trap. He then said the solution was to screen in the deck for a cost of over $1,500 or approximately $50/foot to enclose a 6 inch gap under the deck. This cost did not include removing any captured animals which was an additional $75 per trapped animal.

Three different service people came out - each was knowledgable, skilled, and highly professional. Communication and responsiveness throughout the operation was excellent. Though not inexpensive, the price was not unreasonable. I would definitely call them again.

Shane came out and set the trap. He took time to walk my property to determine if more than one trap was required. He explained in detail why they would do, how the trap was baited and demonstrated how to reset the trap. He also explained that skunks by nature are not curious and it may take 7-10 days to catch the animal. We had our skunk on day 7. They removed the animal and reset the trap. After 10 days the called and removed the empty trap. All my interactions with their office staff and wildlife control specialists exceed my expectations. You can tell these guys are take their job seriously and really value customer service. If you need a animal removed, call these guys. You won't be disappointed

Do not be deceived by the title. They do not humanly remove wildlife and take them to a shelter or release them. They kill the animal.

I bought the special online for a home inspection. It took them 4 days to put me on the schedule. I took a day off from work and was waiting since 8am for them to come, only to have them call me at 10:30a and tell me they won't make it until 5:30p. That time was not an option for me as I requested a morning appointment. He then stated please reschedule for another day. He said we come when we can but we will not give you a set time to come. In other words take 2 days off of work for a $39 service....I DON"T THINK SO>

Excellent, very punctual, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. The best part is Elk Grove Village has a contract with the company on some level and a discounted price was available.

It's not a service I ever expected to need, but I'm glad they're around and they did a great job for me. They came out on a Sunday to set a trap in my basement for a racoon. One other service I had contacted told me they would call back on Monday to make an appointment, so I was relieved to learn that they would come out on a weekend. The tech came out to set the trap and checked the house for entry points. He agreed that the racoon came in the chimney and suggested a chimney cap. Three days later, the **** was in the trap, they picked it up and set another trap just in case. After a few days, they picked up the second trap (empty) and the issue is resolved. I hope I never need them again, but if I do I wouldn't won't hesitate to call them back.

They've been doing work for me now since January. There has been additional charges. Its ongoing so I would say about 350 dollars. I have squirrels in my attic and I still have squirrels in my attic. Its been 3 months since I've been through this and I'm still calling them whenever there's a trap that has tripped. If the problem was gone a month ago, I would have given them an A+ type of thing but its still going on. They've been very professional and they've been here when they said they'd be here and I'm happy with that but I'm not happy with having animals around.

They were very prompt and excellent with their service. They couldn't perform repairs on our roof, which is annoying, but I guess it's not their fault since the hole in the roof is a few feet from a wire. The price was pretty much on par with other places I researched but it is also surprisingly expensive.

They found a few weaknesses that are easily fixed but could become big problems (I imagine a large animal could fit through one of the pipes) Relatively easy to fix once identified.

I would have to say that I was not impressed with the service or the knowledge of the individual who came to help. I'm not sure if solving the issue was a priority....we utilized another service that was very proactive and helpful.

Thought we had a critter in the attic, which is why we called. Inspection of attic indicated no large animals present. Noise most likely caused by mice. After performing house perimeter inspection, contractor advised against paying for expensive preventive measures. He gave some common sense advice to follow, and reassured my wife that we weren't being overrun by animals. Calm demeanor made for a pleasant experience.

He was clean and knowledgeable as well as friendly. He helped find a solution to my lady bug problem.

ABC Humane is a great company. Arrived on time, knowledgeable, took care of the problem quickly, and repaired area to prevent reentry

It was a good inspection and the problem was diagnosed correctly; however other companies provided the same servie at no charge, I later learned. My other problem was that they absolutely refused to give me a price for the entire job and since all I had to go on was the inspector'f verbal approximation, I found other contractors who could perforrm the same service more cheaply than what I was told.
