I called Reliable 3 times to try to get someone to come out and give us an estimate for a new A/C or A/C and Furnace combo. I left a message on Jesse's voicemail on 6/2/2014...no response. I called again on 6/3/2014 and left a message with the receptionist for Jesse...no response. I called again on 6/9/2014 and left a message again with the receptionist for Jesse...no response. I even mentioned that it was the third time I had called. In the past, I have liked the work Reliable has done for us (when they were located in Savoy). But having gotten no response what-so-ever from Jesse, it really turns me off wanting to use them again for anything else. Lost my business, won't get it back.

It went fine. Although in 2007 I had new ac/htg unit put in, a new water heater and new sinks. Within a few days there was a water leak from second floor or roof water drenching the brand new unit, totally drenched the floor. Took days to find the leak only to find out when the water heater was put I'm on the second floor something wasn't hooked up correctly. Why that wouldn't be the first place to check I don't understand but I don't have their knowledge. From early part of summer, 2007 until end of the year, I had problems. A part in the unit had to be replaced that was bad from the start. The thermostat only a little over a year old had to be replaced and I had to pay for it. I used to believe they had integrity and cared about their employee's and doing their best for their customers. Over time, I saw how they lost that which is why I started using them in the first place. It wasn't the employees, the one's I dealt with were fantastic and did the best job they could. It was the owners/upper management. I lost all respect for them, sadly. I no longer use them.

We had a kitchen faucet and sprayer head that were leaking. Unfortunately (as it turned out) we called Reliable to come fix the leaks. The serviceman was reasonably prompt, and it took him about 10 minutes to tell us the sprayer head needed to be replaced, and a washer needed to be replaced on our Delta faucet. He said he did not have the parts on his truck and would have to go get the parts from a plumbing supplier. About 45 minutes later, the plumber returned with a $15.00 repair kit. He said he could not find a suitable sprayer, and we would have to go get that ourselves. It took him about another 15 minutes to replace the washer in the faucet. We did go purchase a sprayer from a local hardware store, and replaced the sprayer ourselves. There were no prices on the work order he left with us, and he said we would receive a bill in the mail. A little over a week later we received the bill in the mail for two hours of work at $98/hour plus the extra cost of the repair kit. $218 to replace a washer in the faucet! This was about a 25 minute job at the most, but because he had to go retrieve a washer, and it took him so long to do it, we had to pay this ridiculous amount. I did phone Reliable to dispute the charge, and was told the service manager would phone me back. He did not phone back that day, so the next day I phoned again. He did call back that day, and he acted like $218 was a reasonable price to pay to have a washer replaced to fix a leaky faucet. I asked to speak to the owner of Reliable and he said he was one of the two owners. I asked to speak to the other owner, and was told he was not in the office at the time. The other owner never did phone me back. We paid the bill, but rest assured we will not be using Reliable again

Service tech came in and "blew out" pvc pipe that would have carried water out of house as he felt it was clogged and left. Turns out when he blew it out by injecting pressurized CO2 into the line he cracked the PVC. That night during my daughter's birthday party the ceiling in our bedroom began to leak. Called them and they came back that night. This time they said there wasnt enough freon in the air conditioner and this was causing ceiling leak. They left with the warning that they would have to charge us overtime since they came out after hours. Ceiling began to leak again. I went up to attic and found pipe that had burst. Called them and they decided it was not a big enough deal to come back that night (or over the weekend as it was Friday night). He told me they would most likely not charge me for large portions of work because it was their fault, but he was not the boss. Monday morning tech returned and replaced pipe. Two weeks later we got the bill, and they had charged us for everything including over time and time spent replacing pipe they had broken. In addition, we had a nasty water stain on the ceiling in our bedroom. I called to complain, received poor untimely response and they took a small percentage off the bill.

Quck and simple. Based on description of problem, plumber brought new sump pump to replace. Explained that any attempts to repair old one would be more expensive, and carried risk of repeated failure, while new sump pump has a one year warranty. Answered questions and concerns in a satisfactory manner.

I was replacing a kitchen faucet when I ran into some major problems with my old hot and cold hook-ups. I called Reliable for assistance and they were able to see me on the same day. They showed up on time, provided the necessary replacement parts for a reasonable price, and since they were there anyway offered to install the new faucet. The work was all completed within one hour. The technician was very friendly, professional, and conscientious of keeping my kitchen clean. He also took the old faucet unit to dispose of properly so I wouldn't have to figure out how to recycle this. I highly recommend this company.

The man showed up when I requested and was on time. Randy done the job in a timely manor. He replaced all the pipes, drain and supply and all the shutoffs as i requested. He done an excellent job and we were very happy with it.

The plumber came and quickly diagnosed the problem as not enough caulking around the tub. Three months later we had a full-blown leak dripping through the downstairs ceiling. Another plumber came and recognized the problem as a corroded flange, which he said was a common maintenance issue in a house of our age. Repairs to the drywall and paint in the downstairs ended up costing us around $1500. If the Reliable plumber would have done his job well and diagnosed the real problem originally, it would have saved us a lot of time and money.

Easy to schedule appointment; a live person to answer to phone and ask about your problem. Plumber arrived at scheduled time. Allowed me to ask the plumber to call 20 minutes before he arrived so I didn't have to wait at home for him. Explained my options (repair or replacement) and costs and advantages of each. Had the needed parts on the truck and performed repair quickly. Everything works fine.

Overall, the service was excellent. Reliable provided a free estimate promptly. They offered to install an 82% efficient boiler to replace our old clunker. To do the actual installation, they sent an old guy out. He took his time, but did a top quality job of installing the new boiler. He called in a venting guy to take care of some complications with the venting for no extra charge. Reliable took the old boiler away. The old guy took his time to show me how to purge air-bubbles out of the heating system, it's really easy, and something that you really don't want to keep calling a contractor in to do. A week after the installation, one of the pipes started leaking at a joint. Someone came out immediately to take a look and tightened up the pipes, no extra charge. Since then, no problems whatsoever with the heating system. I highly recommend them.
