DESIGNED STAIRS

We hired Designed Stairs after removing the stairway from the scope of work we were doing with Airoom (review to come). They were very professional and helpful in getting our project executed in a timely and professional way. While not the cheapest, we thought the quality and professionalism was quite high.

It was a pleasure to work with Designed Stairs. I have hired a lot of firms to do various things. Designed Stairs is exceptional. The end result is beautiful. The work was done exactly as promised. Quickly. Competently. I could not be happier. Perhaps their back office folks could be a little nicer. The guy who estimated seemed very competent. The installer was very competent and nice to have in your house. These guys are great.

I chose Designed Stairs over another slightly lower-priced provider based on the recommendation of a contractor doing other work in our home. He told us that the quality of the stairs would be the same, but that Designed Stairs were "more on the ball" when it came to installation. The woman I dealt with on the phone for all the prework was very helpful and answered all my questions. They always answered the phone when I called during their business hours (I believe they are closed one day a week, maybe Friday). The gentleman who came to do the estimate also explained all the work that would be done depending on the stair selection I made. They came the day before the stairs were to be installed to deliver the materials. The next day, the installer came at 7 am and left at 11 pm. He didn't leave until the stairs were in. He was definitely dedicated to his work, but he came alone. It would have been good if he had an assistant for both time and easier for him. Te lady I dealt with on the phone followed up after the stairs were installed to make sure everything had gone smoothly and that I was satisfied. In the end, I did feel that the price was high, but admittedly I hadn't had new stairs installed before and didn't know what they usually cost. Overall I definitely had a positive experience and would recommend Designed Stairs to others.

Excellent - Designed Stairs were very responsive from the beginning. I really liked their customer service (Angela was great!), always called back when they said they would and worked with me on speeding up the manufacture when it looked like things were slowing down. The guys who installed the stairs were real craftsmen - very into what they do and took exceptional care to make the staircase look good.

This is the only company that you need to work with once you know what you need! They mill their own balusters and even sell them to the other regional companies! Because of their size they are able to do things at prices other companies can t touch! Spread the word! I would like to recommend them for an award!
