Excellent! The quality of workmanship was first class. The crew hustled and got the job done sooner than expected. They are not the cheapest but we plan on retiring in our home and I expect the quality will show through for the long term.

WARNING...PEERLESS FENCE FOLLOW UP SUCKS! I met with a clueless sales rep named REESE HARLEY on 7/11/19 regarding a horizontal wood fence. I showed him the picture of the fence/gate and he said he would email the quote and to send the picture to him. Reese emailed a general paragraph with a quote and I responded the next day by sending a picture of the fence and asking for a detailed proposal.🤷🏽♀️. Fast forward to today-after multiple calls and emails to Home Depot and Peerless, TWO MONTHS LATER, I get a call from Reese’s supervisor Lee who sarcastically stated that they don’t do horizontal wood fences.🤷🏽♀️ HOW COULD THIS IDIOT NOT KNOW THIS?! Reese email me two days ago saying that he would come back out to remeasure.🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️Why? #CLUELESS I emailed REESE telling that he is a loser and he replied that I was a joke so this was my response to him. You are a complete JOKE, LOSER, DUMMY and IDIOT and YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR JOB! You need to get a job that you can do like sweeping floors and not interacting with customers directly because you suck at it! HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW THAT PEERLESS DOES NOT INSTALL HORIZONTAL WOOD FENCES?! #******* You want to act all authoritarian but you’re CLUELESS! I would not recommend this company to anyone not even as a last resort and unfortunately they have a contract with Home Depot!

Sales rep: Todd Adams came to our house took all his measurements then we were talking of my overall plans and when I mentioned that I’m fixing up to sell next year to move closer to work providing the economy doesn’t crash at which time Todd goes into a full blown “Trump almighty for 2020” rant and how healthcare is a privilege not a right blah, blah, blah I finally walked away tossing his papers in the garbage. A real doosh-bag!

Took them 5days to get back to me. Then never responded to my second email.

I hired this company years ago . Salesman was very good and answered my questions . The job was completed and we were very happy . This time Salesman, did not return calls or text . Very unprofessional!!!!

Not good. Was supposed to get a cost breakdown. I'm still waiting for that. I think its been 3 weeks. They don't want to do small jobs in my opinion.

It took a few weeks of lead time (contract signed 4/2/19, work performed 4/25/19) but the repairman showed up promptly in the morning and it took him about two hours to get the job done by himself. Two rotting posts failed with our recent high winds, and three sections fell. Old posts removed and replaced, sections firmly reattached. Best of three quotes, one was over twice as much as Peerless.

I'm very pleased with the work. The guys came out to start installation, then it started to rain They were going to come back the next week, but actually came back the next day and installed it. This was a day they were going to take off, so that was above and beyond. I had an old wood fence that just had the posts left, some had broken off. And I had special requirements - a panel that would lift off over my sewer grate and a custom gate for a narrow spot. They took take of everything and, I swear, left the yard cleaner than when they started. The only issue was it took a while to make the initial contact. Must be busy, but it was over a week since they said they would call and I was close to getting more quotes. Overall, I am very pleased. Raul and his crew were great. I had another quote which was $1500 more, plus they could not (would not) do the lift-off panel.

It took a few weeks to schedule but once scheduled everything went very quickly. They were able to tear down and replace my wooden fence in about 6 hours. I thought price was reasonable as well. I had about 182 ft of fence.

This was a great company to work with. They work was done well and the fence looks great.

Salesman pushed treated pine and pvc fencing very hard for privacy fence. We had to request a cedar quote. Everything from there on was handled very well. Work crew was easy to work with and very timely. Can't comment on ultimate quality since install was just completed. However, it appeared to me that the crew did a nice job of getting the posts deep enough and the fences are all straight and level.

Having done business with Peerless two years ago, I thought it might be different this time. It took me two contacts over 4 days for someone to call and set up an appointment. The rep arrived on time. I had already communicated what I wanted in my contact: a tear down of cedar fencing and replace with aluminum fencing to match existing fence on the north end of the property. I thought maybe a brochure would be given, but wasn't. The rep indicated the style might not be available and would have to check with other vendors. If not, I agreed that the option offered would work. He did measure and shared that he should have an estimate to me by the weekend or Monday of last week at the latest. Two weeks have now passed and still no estimate. Needless to say, I did get other estimates and have selected a Peerless competitor who met all my expectations and provided me with a brochure and a business card...something one would expect. I will not consider Peerless for any of my future needs or recommend them to family or friends.

Our sales rep. Craig, got us on their schedule much sooner than we anticipated with all of the permitting and preliminary work done quickly. The installation crew arrived within the prescribed period of time and went to work. With the old fence removed, the new scalloped copperwood fence installation progressed rapidly. They completed 275 feet of fence with 2 gates in under 6 hours. We are thrilled with the results.

Job was done to my satisfaction. Promptly.

I called for an estimate on repairs to our fence and gates. I was told someone would come out to look at the fence in a few days even though we wouldn't be home and they'd follow up with a phone call. That was a month ago and they've never bothered to call. I'm guessing my work wasn't worth their time but ignoring a potential client is as unprofessional as it gets.

Six type of salesmen came out to the house to try to get me to go with them and of all six the salesman from Peerless took down notes and he impressed me the most. I called back and had a few questions and he answered him. The sincerity in his voice, which is hard to find today. The contractor that came out that was a contractor from Peerless, I was watching them taking photos. They worked hard. They were pros, they were conscientious, careful, made sure everything was lined up and straight. This is just beautiful straight across. They did a straight job, tirelessly. They were here for about eight or nine hours working. They did it all in one day. They were somewhat cheaper than some of the other prices I got, they were a good price.

It was fine. The crew came and marked the property pins, then strung a line where the new fence was going to go. They noticed that a tree on our neighbors side would get in the way, so they let us know right away and discussed our options with us. They were very helpful & friendly. They showed us where the property lines were and explained where they were going to do the installation. Any questions they had, they asked us before doing anything. They also answered any of our questions. The installation went fine and looks great. When they were done, they made sure that we thought everything looked ok and asked if we had any questions or concerns. The city came when they were done to approve everything and even they commented on how they never have any problems with the fences Peerless installs. I would hire them again for sure.

The installers were great. found out that it seems that they are contracted through peerless to do the work. peerless themselves don't really have a good customer service attitude.

The men that did the work were extremely professional and hard-working

Overall I feel the biggest problem is that each department (sales, office, installers) all work in silos and have no idea what the other departments can do, so even though I do like my fence, I'm a very unhappy customer and don't recommend them. Multiple times things that were described as easy and straightforward turned into very convoluted problems that delayed the entire project. The fence looks great and I'm happy with it, but it was very complicated to get everything in place for the motorized gate and I did a LOT of legwork (calling multiple electricians and the installer people from the fence company myself) which was frustrating. More recently, I asked them to switch out my gate lock to something that my 2 year old could not open by himself, was told that there's an easy solution. They asked me to pay in full IN ADVANCE (???) which made me pretty uncomfortable, then never called me back. Finally got the work scheduled, and the installer could tell within 10 seconds that the latch switch wasn't possible. After relaying this back to the office, it's taken multiple phone calls to sort it out and I still have yet to talk to their customer service manager, who was "going to call me" for 2 weeks now and I haven't heard from him.

Service was quick and price was far better than competitors.

They did what they said they would.

Overall we are very disappointed with the materials as well as the service we've received. Pictures attached to this review and timeline below. • April 24, 2017: Contract signed for fence replacement. • April 27, 2017: Credit card charged initial 50%. • May 16, 2017: Salesman called and told us the picket size listed in contract wasn't available; we could reschedule or accept different size boards. We agreed to the alternate size boards. • May 17, 2017: New fence installed. Prior to leaving we pointed out issues to the crew, including hole cut into downspout. We were told that the office would contact us to arrange repairs. • May 24, 2017: Credit card was charged for remaining balance. • May 27, 2017: We called the main number to ask about issues and were referred to our salesman. Salesman was unaware of any issues. • May 30, 2017: Salesman came to the house to review the issues and discussed a number of fixes. • June 11, 2017: Sent salesman an email looking for a follow up. • June 12, 2017: Salesman responded to email. • June 14, 2017: Email exchanged with salesman. • June 16, 2017: Email from salesman that repairs would be scheduled. • June 29, 2017: Received voicemail from Gary who said that a crew was on the way. Returned Gary's call and explained via voicemail that no one had contacted us and no one was home. Gary called back and said that a crew would be out to resolve the issues on July 13. • July 13, 2017: Left voicemail for Gary at 9AM because no one had called and crew was not on site. At 11AM Fred and Pancho arrived on site. Explained that they were not prepared to perform the level of repairs required; the work needed was more extensive than they had been informed and JULIE had not been called to mark underground lines. They took some pictures and told us someone would be in touch and that we should call back if no one contacted us. • July 17, 2017: Don called and scheduled a crew to come out July 27. • July 27, 2017: Crew arrived and indicated they didn't know what repairs needed to be made. We pointed out a number of issues that needed to be addressed. They packed up at noon and when they were told that issues still remained they said that the issues weren't among the things pointed out first thing in the morning, and left. We called and left a voicemail message for Don. No response as of review. • July 30, 2017: Angie's list review posted.

if overall process was a proposal insulation for 5 months.

The experience was okay. I think the pricing is okay. It's about 70% that I would use them again. I would probably use them. I did not completely like the guy. I would not hire them again for this work I'd look around. It was reasonable I think but it's not completely honest. I would try to use them but not completely. I might find someone better.
