McNally's Heating and Cooling

Since I spend a lot of time in my garage building projects, I wanted to make it more comfortable in the summer heat and frigid months of winter. After doing extensive research, I decided on a mini-split system and ordered it myself online. I called Brian at McNally's Heating and Cooling and he said they could install it at their regular labor rate and that it would take five hours at most. That seemed that a good price so we scheduled the installation for four days later at 9:30 AM. Ed and Tyler arrived five minutes early and were ready to work. We got right to unboxing the unit and marking out the installation location. I had originally thought we would run the lines between the inside unit and outside unit down the exterior wall, but Ed had a better idea to run them through the stud cavity for a cleaner look. This probably took a little bit longer than running it straight out and down, but it looks a heck of a lot better and I couldn't be happier. It took about four hours altogether and I know have a conditioned garage space using a system that is about as quiet as a whisper inside. I'm very pleased with the unit and as always quite happy with McNallys. I will definitely use them for all of my future HVAC needs.

Very professional, arrived right on time, went right to work, finished the install, everything is just perfect. I could not ask for a better experience. It is hot today and the air just turned on, cool and quiet, just great!

Everything went great. On time, professional, and very efficient. Removed old unit and installed new furnace in less than half of a day. We were going from a 90% efficient unit, 19 years old, to a 95% efficient unit. Left everything in better shape than they found, very neat and tidy. Great company, very friendly. Ensured we knew about the Nicor rebate to bring our costs down even further. Would use again in a heartbeat.

They were fantastic. I was having it installed in one of our rentals, and our tenant was not returning calls promptly. But McNally's was very patient and we finally got it scheduled and installed.

We were very pleased with the service provided by the McNally company. Their workmen were pleasant and professional. They worked an entire day removing the old furnace and fashioning new ductwork for the new furnace and then installing it. They also made sure the area was cleaned up when they were done. We would definitely use them in the future for our heating and cooling needs.'

They showed up when they said and did the work they said. I'll be calling them again in the spring to check the AC.

came on time, serviced the heater, asked me if i wanted to have the capacitor replaced as it was ok but about to turn bad. he quoted a reasonable price of $60.00 for the capacitor.

All work was accomplished as advertised. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendly demeanor of the technician. He explained everything involved with the servicing of our furnace in terms we understood and did not try to sell us expensive unneeded services or products. We are very happy with this service company and will call them in the spring for their furnace and a/c services.

My husband took care of it, said the appointment was easy to book. He had a very positive experience with it. He said it was easy for them to come out.

Technician showed up on time and quickly completed the work. Also advised that the filter did not need to be replaced at the time because it was no dirty.

Called on a Saturday afternoon over Labor Day weekend. When I stated it was not an emergency, said they could be out first thing Tuesday morning to take a look. Tuned up the unit and replaced a bad capacitor, maybe taking 30-40 minutes. Very professional and informative. Would call again.

Called McNally's to repair our air conditioner which had shut down. Ed arrived within an hour of our call and quickly determined that a low voltage wire was defective and was tripping the system fuse. He replaced about 6 feet of wiring along with the fuse and everything was up and running in about an hour. Ed also answered our questions and gave us some good ideas for balancing the cooling in our 2nd floor rooms. We were completely satisfied with the professional and cost efficient services provided we will use McNally's again in the future for heating and cooling services.

They came and re-checked my system after having checked it a couple weeks before. I had noticed that the A/C was not performing very well after they had performed a tune up. Turns out the system, which they previously had said was fine, needed to be filled with coolant. I guess the temperature and humidity can effect the measurement tools they use to check the system. They filled up the coolant and I was only charged for the coolant and not the service call because they had been there previously, which I felt was appropriate.

They were good. They were accommodating for my schedule and they were able to come out quickly. They always called when they could not make it on time, what i did not like is that they sent out some one who was inexperienced so the next time i asked them to bring some one who was more experienced.

Just had McNally's out again for a/c tune-up. They were on time, friendly, took time to make sure everything was working properly all while my 3 year old was insisting they come see our cat. I really like having a trustworthy furnace and a/c company.

Technician was professional and curtious. gavme me some good times about how to handle extend the furnace when we finish the basement. Also did a good clean/inspection on the furnace and even told me told me how much long my glowbar would last.

Quick scheduling, arrived on-time, very friendly. Performed an air conditioning tune up per the Angie's List Big Deal. Pretty sure that all 20 points listed in the Big Deal were not reviewed that I could tell (flushing and treating condensate drain, calibrating thermostat, testing supply/return temp difference, etc.) but I'm sure that they did what they had to so that everything is operating well.

It turned out well. They came out quicker than I thought that they would. They took care of the problem. I had some concerns after the initial visit. They came out and adjusted a few things that needed to be adjusted. I'm very happy with their service. Nothing was negative. Everything was positive. They were quick to come out because my heater was out. They were on top of that. They took care of some adjustments that weren't really the reason why I called them out here. They took care of it anyway. I was happy. They didn't charge any extra for the additional work that they did.

They did a really good job! They were very nice, neat, tidy, and were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The humidifier has held up fine since they came out.

It was great. The technician explained everything he did, including the non-spec way my furnace was installed.
