These are the ultimate pros! After having a sump pump in stalled in my over 100 year old home I needed the basement rehabbed from years of neglect—particularly mold under knotty pine paneling and a drop ceiling that was no longer intact. Over 3 days all the paneling and failing drop ceiling were removed, the walls were treated to remove the mold and painted. Now my basement looks great, smells fresh and I couldn’t be happier. The price was completely fair, the work was started and completed as promised—great experience with a great result

Mastercat successfully remediated our mold problem in several vents throughout our home, and a spot on our basement wall. We had ill-fitting vent covers which they also replaced - cut to size and painted to match. I was also given advice on how to prevent mold in the future which includes duct cleaning and simply repositioning some furniture and a humidifier. We also hired them in 2019 to remove mold after a basement flood. They cut out some drywall, and we haven?t had problems since. Mastercat was responsive to my request for a quote. They replied to me, came to assess AND completed work all in the same week. A team of 2 worked in our home and the job was completed in about half a day. They were efficient, thorough, and cleaned up after. They do honest work and the quote did not increase much, and when I was asked about replacing vent covers, they researched cost and asked me to approve before purchasing. I would absolutely hire them again but hope I don?t have to!

The hallmark of a catastrophe is that it seems bigger than life and even more complicated. At least mine was. I had the symptoms of mold in a new-to-me house and no idea where to start. Luckily I got a referral to Master Cat. Within 5 minutes Donnie located one source - black mold in the utility closet - and it went from there. I'm hypersensitive to mold and Donnie understood it meant finding every speck of mold. We knew he was done when he found mold behind the base boards. I had lost a house because of a mold catastrophe. Because of Donnie I was able to live in this house with no symptoms. He took on a nightmare and left me with a livable house.

Donny and his company Mastercat have done an excellent job for me on more than one occasion! After a contractor left a facet on which then flooded part of my basement, Donny and his crew were there the next day to remove all the damaged drywall, baseboards and carpet! They dried the space and did mold remediation. And they made the walls and baseboards look like it never even happened! They are friendly, courteous and professional. I recommend this company to all my clients with mold issues or disaster recovery needs. He also did mold testing and remediation in my attic. After many of my clients found mold in their attics due to contractors venting bathroom humidity into the attic instead of outside, I asked Donny to test my attic. I had the same problem! So he remediated my attic as well! He is always my go to for myself and my clients! I always strongly recommend him and his company!

This company was five stars all the way. They were timely, neat, clean and professional. Our basement flooded and Mastercat Team handled everything from start to finish. They made this stressful situation so much easier. Unfortunately this is the second time our basement flooded and the second time we have used them.

I hired them to take care of a really bad mold problem in my basement. With me having a mold allergy, I needed someone that could be very thorough.
