Description of Work: Bob Grove and his team replaced a concrete loading dock at our facility in Palatine. This was a very unique job, as some of the dock was repaired and some was replaced - they were able to work with our very specific requests and delivered a fine job. Bob was great with my multiple phone calls about concerns and revisions to the plan, and was always patient and helpful, a real professional. The final job included extending the loading area to deal with cracked and disintegrating concrete, re-laying the floor of the dock (working around the sewer grate and grading the concrete for drainage), and adding a retaining wall on the right side of the dock. They were nice enough to let us add a section of conduit in case we wanted to add a sumpump to the drain and needed an electrical connection.

Description of Work: Laid concrete for a truck loading dock we replaced. Included graded driveway, 8 foot tall retaining wall with footing, and extension of the dock face, as well as an addition of a steel channel in the dock face.
