STAY AWAY!! I've done business with this company periodically over the years. Not consistent, but occasional PC help. I also ordered a PC from them 5 years ago and had them do a setup on it as well as setting up (installing software, creating backups, etc.) other PC's I've purchased elsewhere. In the beginning I was happy with their work. The place is convenient and they were prompt and reasonably priced. The last time I had them set up a laptop it took a lot longer then I expected (as I recall, about 10 days). This should have been a warning sign to stay away, because I think they favor their more frequent business clients at the expense of the occasional home customer. The last time I used them was the final straw. I brought in a laptop with a broken hinge. There was no significant diagnosis necessary as the problem was obvious. The broken hinge was effecting the adjacent USB ports, but I specifically said I didn't care if they worked because there was another one on the other side. I paid up front $67.50 for them to look at it and see if the hinge was repairable. I specifically said that I didn't really want to invest much more than that since my policy with laptops is to "buy cheap and buy often". The tech figured out the laptop was still under warranty (they had done the setup), they backed up the data, called dell to order a box (free), and shipped it to Dell for repair (at Dell's expense). All of this was fine for $67.50, but when I picked it up I was charged an additional $50 because they said they had to check out Dell's repair (why? it was a factory warranty repair!). I had told them when I dropped it off to let me know if there would be additional charges. These people will milk the bill. I'm sure the paperwork I filled out when I dropped the laptop off LEGALLY authorized this, but it was not in the spirit of our conversation, and their work (it was a warranty repair!) added no value beyond the $67.50. Go someplace else!!
