A great experience! Chose this company based on all the great reviews they have on Angie's List and I can see why they have such good grades and reviews. Arrived promptly on time. Robert and his workmen were professional, efficient and friendly. Cleaned up extremely well after work was completed. Would definitely recommend to friends.

On time, and completed job as expected.

We received estimates from 3 vendors and Attic Air provided the lowest (just) quote for the work. They were also the only vendor to offer to go to R-60 vs. R-49 (which is code). On the scheduled day, Attic Air arrived right on time and got to work immediately. They were very careful to put down protection and treat the house with care. They checked over the work, made sure it was set, then completed the spray-in process. they sprayed from corner to corner with beautiful pink layer of insulation that should do a wonderful job. Afterward, they cleaned up thoroughly and when they were done, you couldn't tell that the had even been here (except when you looked in the attic. The most telling example of what a great company Attic Air is follows: After I received the estimate for the job, I called to make sure they had included the area over the back apartment as I had forgotten to show it to them during the quoting process. The owner, Robert, was out of town, but said it should be o.k. When they actually did the work it was obvious the extra space had not been included in the estimate, but Robert said he was good to his word and would not adjust the cost for the extra space. Now that is a quality vendor with a real understanding of customer service. Bottom line, I strongly recommend Attic Air as the company for your insulation needs

It went very well. I arranged for a home visit to get an estimate for the work. As it turned out, they were able to replace the fan while they were there. That saved me a lot of time.

One year ago I had Attic Air add insulation to the attic and reroute two bathroom exhaust fans. They did excellent work and I gave them an outstanding review at the time. I recently experienced an intermittent loud whistling sound from what I believed was the master bath exhaust fan. I didn?t know who to call, and I took a chance that Attic Air may be able to assist me even if it had nothing to do with the work they previously performed. Robert Carroll responded immediately and sent his crew the following day to investigate. Of course there was no noise when they arrived, but they made a small modification to the roof vent thinking that may be the source of the problem. Two hours after they left the noise returned and I again contacted Robert. He said he could be at my house at 10:00 am the following day, Saturday. Saturday morning before he was scheduled to arrive he called and I told him the whistle sound was not present. He suggested I call him any time, day, evening, Sunday, whenever the noise was present. About 5:00 p.m. Saturday the whistle sound returned and I called Robert. He was at my house in 30 minutes and found that the noise was not originating from the attic fan as I believed but rather from the toilet. I was embarrassed that I misidentified the source, but Robert could not have been more understanding and gracious. He just said he was happy he could help me. He went above and beyond what I would have expected and demonstrated an exceptional level of customer service. The noise was a bad inlet valve in the toilet that I repaired for $10. My sincere thanks to Robert for his service and understanding.

This review actually covers 4 different jobs I did with Robert and his crew. Robert knows his trade as well as anyone I've ever met, and I always felt completely satisfied with his suggested approach. He and his crew are fast, hard workers and extremely professional. They make sure things are done properly and completely. As an example of the quality standard they set: They spent a couple of hours on a day where they ended up not doing the work and rescheduling after traveling all the way out to the house and setting up, just to make sure it was done correctly (we had another contractor that needed to fix some previous work, to avoid negatively impacting the qualify of the insulation job). Robert would take pictures of things that weren't correct, take the time to carefully explain why - and whether or not they could correct it themselves. I have no negatives to report at all, I wish all experiences with home contractors were like this.

Attic-Air came and did the estimate. Robert was very professional. He provided the estimate via email. He covered all the things I wanted done and answered all my questions. We set up a date for Attic-Air to come in. They arrived on schedule. They installed the bath vent fan like I wanted and gave me a separate switch for it. They blew insulation into the cathedral ceiling as well as over the western attic space. They insulated the attic hatch and put it back down. In the central attic, Attic-Air popped up two boards to allow air to flow from the west attic to the central attic of the house. They also opened up the soffits on the west side and repaired a rotted soffit. Finishing up Attic-Air put in new insulation in the central attic space to bring the whole west side of the house to current code. After finishing up Attic-Air removed the tarps they had laid down and swept up the areas they had worked in for dust and loose insulation. I paid Attic-Air upon completion of their work.

About to undergo a full repainting of the interior of my home but have been experiencing problems with peeling paint from the ceiling in various spots. It was definitely not a leaky roof as the spots were dry and not discolored. The painter I had come over for an estimate suggested it might be a humidity/ventilation issue in the attic. Contacted Attic Air to come out and make an inspection before painting begins. Robert went up into my attic and didn't find any major problems. While it was comforting to know that the peeling paint was not the result of some major issue, it is a bit frustrating to not know what the real cause is. Quirks of the house I guess. Robert gave me a full explanation of what he did see and there was no cause for concern on my part. I appreciated his time and the explanation and he did not charge me for the service call.

From the start of the process to the completion, I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Robert Carroll and his attic air crew. It impressed me that not only did Robert bid the project,, he also showed up with the crew and worked right along with them until completion of the job. As a not very handy senior citizen, I appreciated that Robert at no extra cost to me took the time to wrap my water heater pipes and repair some foil wrap on my HVAC unit located in the attic. He is an honest, straight forward, no hard sell, no frills guy. The crew arrived on time and completed the job efficiently in 31/2 hours. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend this company for any attic needs. They do outstanding work.

Robert was very personable and professional. Gave me an honest opinion of what may or not be possible in my bathroom. Sent me a written quote by mail which was very reasonable. Also very obviously a highly skilled professional who knew his stuff. We were scheduled within two weeks. On the day it turned out that additional venting to exterior wall wasn't possible due to obstruction of the gutter, but his 3 technicians kept me informed at every stage. Arrived on time, were courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. Installed a new bathroom fan, and have found the moisture levels in my bathroom much improved. I would highly recommend this company.

From the beginning, Robert seemed like an honest and friendly guy. He actually went up into the attic during the initial inspection/quote unlike the other person who only glanced from the ladder. Scheduling was quick and easy. On the day of service, his guys showed up on time and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. They even fixed my closet light for free! Robert was extremely accommodating and responsive to our initial proposal request as well as follow up questions. Leslie was also very timely to respond via email. Robert gave us a complete solution to solve our issues with our upstairs which included adding attic insulation to get up to the recommended R-49 level and to install a power attic fan to help with ventilation. We decided to wait until after the winter season to see how severe the issue will be in cold weather so we can better gauge performance before and after this work is completed. We would recommend Robert to anyone who is need of attic insulation and energy efficiency solutions.

Robert and his crew did a superlative job on this project. We discovered mold in 2 bedrooms and half of our attic. After another company removed the mold, we needed to prevent it from happening again. Robert came out and provided an accurate estimate of what needed to be done. He informed us that we had a brand new attic fan in the attic that had never been connected by a previous contractor (years ago), so it was just sitting there and was non-operative. In addition to telling us what he recommended regarding existing and new soffits, he also told us one of our bathroom fans was venting into the attic (that's bad). He also suggested adding a new bathroom fan to another bathroom, even though there was a window in the bathroom ("unless we always open the window when we shower... summer or winter...."). His estimate was timely and accurate. Another contractor (also on Angie's List) provided another quote, but missed a couple of the points that Robert told us about. And while the other contractor was a little cheaper, Robert matched his prices when it came right down to it. On the day they were here to do the work, the crew (including Robert) couldn't have been nicer. Very friendly and professional. They did everything as promised and even finished about an hour sooner than estimated. The new bathroom fan(s) they installed look and work great. And we now have an attic full of pink fluff... hopefully our heating bills will even be a bit lower. They team did put a hole in window screen and did leave a dime-sized paint chip in the painted wall of a bathroom, but I guess things happen..... neither is serious, just a little inconvenient. Robert (and Leslie) were great communicators via email, or in person, and we knew what was happening with the estimate and/or the project at all times. If you've ever had to go through a mold remediation project, you know how much of a pleasure it is to work with companies who communicate well and do what they say they're going to do. Robert told us to call him anytime if we have issues/questions about what was done, if the attic fan doesn't appear to be working, etc. We recommend Robert and Attic Air for any attic ventilation project.

They arrived on the time they said they would. Alex and his crew went to work and completed the job in 30 minutes. They were clean and very professional. I was amazed at how fast and perfect the job was. The last time I replaced the attic fan it took me 2 hours! Alex and his crew made sure that nothing was left behind and I was satisfied with the job. I will be in need of having additional insulation and vents installed and I will call Attic Air to do the job. Thank you Attic Air for your respectful consideration of my home.

Wow! We are so impressed with this company! Robert and his guys did a phenomenal job with our small attic which was in desperate need of all new insulation. They cleaned everything up, removed all the old materials and now it's just a sea of pink up there! Definitely recommend.

Based on all the positive AL reviews on this provider I called them for a quote as I was tired of waiting for my Heating/Air Conditioning guy to fix the heat problem in our garage. The quote over the phone and email was reasonable so I scheduled an installation. The nicly attired crew showed up on time in a well maintained and newer service truck. The project manager of the 3-man team asked me to show him the garage and access to the attic. We discussed the fan options and each one's guarantee. I decided on one with a lifetime guarantee. I asked them if they wanted to listen to music while they worked and they said it didn't matter as they would only take about 45 mins. to install the fan. WOW! I was blown away because I have the thickest shake single roof that would require some care to insure water-tightness. They were really quick to cut the opening in the roof and even took care to locate the switch in the attic near the light switch in the attic. When I went back to check their work in about 45 Mins. I found them with a broom and dust pan cleaning up their job site. Very Impressive. Their cared about our property and left it as they found it...well maybe even a little better. Given their speed and competency, and at their suggestion, we discussed putting in a fan in our home attic too. Since they were there and had time in their schedule I made a decision on the spot to add a second unit in our house attic. While their were in the attic I asked them to check on any visible water damage. They reported that some insulation had been moved and not re-installed properly. They also reported that my bathroom vents were not vented to the outside...only into the attic. Weird, since I had just recently paid another contractor who installed the fans to vent them to the outside which I was told was completed. So, I am now on their schedule to remedy my attic exhaust problem. I trust them and their quality of work.

Robert was knowledgeable, honest, and forthright about the limited options available for our situation, where there is simply not enough room between ceiling and roof to implement an effective roof ventilation solution. He recommended a couple of other options that could potentially assist with the cooling issues we are experiencing in the space.

Robert and his crew went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND what I've experienced with most contractors. They came out and pulled the old motor out of my house fan and researched and explained the cost of replacement. They also gave me the alternative of an attic fan and explained the differences. I didn't end up having the attic fan installed at this time because I can't afford it right now, but they're estimate was below what I thought it would be. I completely recommend this company if you're looking for work done in your attic.

Robert was great to work with. He is very punctual and professional. His estimate was incredibly fair and he even pointed out work that I could easily do on my own and gave me tips and recommendations on how to do it properly. He and his crew arrived on time on a wet Friday morning and they took exceptional care to ensure that my floors did not get messy. He estimated the work would take 4-5 hours and he was spot on. The crew was highly professional and did a great job and did not leave any mess behind. The finished products look and work great and have made my home comfortable again. I would not hesitate to call Robert should I need such services again. I highly recommend Attic Air.

These guys are unbelievable. No BS, fair pricing, they come prepared, knowledgable, friendly, fast clean work. I never had such a great experience with this type of service. Everything you read from the other reviewers is absolutely true. I am so impressed that I am writing this review before they pull away from the curb. I asked for the wrong fan but it didn't matter, they had the right one on the truck, gave me great advice on the venting and I am looking forward to improved performance. As a customer, you are looking for the guys getting there on time, being easy to talk to, get good advice from them, price the service fairly, be conscientious, don't waste your time and work efficiently, get it all done in one visit, even added work, and leave everything clean. They check all the boxes. I don't know what else I could ask for as a customer. Highly, highly recommended.

Excellent job. They worked quickly and professionally but also took the time to pay attention to details (I noticed one worker wiping off fingerprints after installing a soffit panel). Robert was very helpful in explaining everything, and a pleasure to work with. He showed me the attic after the work was completed, and answered all my questions thoroughly. Cleanup was well done. I definitely noticed a difference over the winter with no ice dam problems.

We called Robert when condensation collected on conduit in the attic. The conduit was for our smoke detector circuit. This caused a smoke detector to short out and alarm. A couple of years ago, we had additional attic insulation installed by another contractor. We feared that we had a ventilation problem from the previous work, and asked Attic Air to see what needed to be done. Robert climbed into our attic, determined that the insulation and ventilation were properly installed. He covered the problematic conduit with some insulation. That was all that required. He did not charge us for the visit! When I have another project, Attic Air will be the people I call.
