Attic Air

Very impressive! Robert gave me a quote over the phone and we set up an appointment for two days later. They arrived five minutes before scheduled, got right to work and were packed up and gone in about half an hour. In addition to installing/replacing the fan exhaust system, Robert pointed out to me that he noticed that our soffits weren't properly vented, and they went out of their way to show me the problem. Were very pleased with the work Attic Air did and will use them in the future.

Robert Carroll came out to inspect the attic fan (which we knew was not working, but being December we planned to replace it in the spring -- but then leaking occurred around the fan onto the ceiling). He gave me the estimate and we scheduled the day for the replacement. They were able to replace the fan without going through the interior entrance to the attic, but instead going through the roof. They did a great job. We also discussed how the attic isn't vented properly and should have new insulation done. (I already knew that from earlier discussions with another contractor who's done other work for the house.) He gave me literature on the insulation and described how they would vent the existing vents (over which the original builder placed plywood, ensuring the vents aren't working as actual vents) and they can do the venting process from the outside of the house. Hopefully some day we will do that. Attic Air was referred to me by a neighbor whose attic fan was replaced by them. I highly recommend them.

Robert came out, surveyed the work to be done, explained in detail what work and how it was to be done. Was back to complete the work withing 3 days of giving the estimate. He and the crew came before I had to leave for work, and as promised finished the job long before I had to leave for work in the morning.

Robert did a great job! He did the work himself with a helper crew of 2. The whole process took under 2 hours and they were professional and cleaned up nicely. Before starting they laid down protective covering over the floor and installed soffit vent baffles in the attic. After the work was complete he invited me to check his work which I did and it was great. The initial sales process was painless as well and Robert gave me a no nonsense price which was very competitive and there was no pressure whatsoever.

They were excellent on all levels. The owner answered when I called. He asked me specific questions and when he came up here he had the exact size fans we needed. He gave us a time fram of when he would be finished, he was right on with that. He was super clean and neat. It was an excellent experience.

Robert was outstanding. He came out on a Sunday to discuss the problems with roof. He and his crew blew insulation and worked closely with the roofing company to fix the roof. It was great to work with him and he really cared about helping to solve our water issues. I could not recommend him more. He was very honest and trustworthy and did an outstanding job.

Very, very well. The team worked extremely hard. I know they were tired and hungry when they finished, but they took to time to clean up all the debris in the yard before leaving. Very professional! They did what needed to be done to properly vent the attic.

Great experience with Attic Air. Came out on a Saturday morning to do the work. Took just under two hours to complete. Robert and his crew did a fantastic job. Very professional, workman like and cleaned up afterwords. I already noticed the difference in a cooler temperature in my attic from having the attic fan installed. This is the second time I used Attic Air as I also used them to install bathroom exhaust fan insulation ducts. Would highly recommend Attic Air!

The fan exhaust needed to be adjusted when they installed it. Robert wanted to come out the same day I called but I told him it woulc wait until the next day. He lived probably 60 miles away and came to fix it at no charge. He said he would be here at 1:00 and was here right on time on a Saturday. Of all of the contractors I have used over the years, he tops the customer service of anyone I have ever used.

They arrived on time and were very courtesy and professional. They laid tarps inside of the house and wore shoe covers. They also reviewed the installation prior to leaving and answered all questions.

They came in under estimate and worked in the heat to complete the jobs. We installed 3 Attic fans and replaced 26 exterior air vents. I would recommend them to everyone! They are AAA+++

I needed to add insulation to attic space, Attic Air came all the way to northern IL from Bartlett for estimate and service on two different dates. First was for estimate and I requested service that day (competive estimate with other estimates). They removed insulation that was on walls and roof where it was not supposed to be, they opened the vents for the attic and discussed creating a platform for raising the floor - to create room for more insulation and still maintain the storage space. ..completed the work perfectly! Detailed estimate - any deviations were discussed and agreed to. Would use again, if needed.

Moved into a house July 11th that had a frozen attic fan - identified by the home inspector as a fire hazard. We turned off the power to the fan at the breaker and I called Attic Air @ 11:50am on 7/12. The owner, Robert answered and said he could come right out - he and his two helpers were there by 1:30pm. They replaced the bad fan as well as a second fan that had died years ago. To boost air circulation in the attic they also opened up some clogged soffit vents. Attic fans now work beautifully, turning on @ 90F to push the hot air out and pull cooler outside air in - keeping our attic cooler and reducing the load on our central A/C system. We had Robert and his guys back a couple of days later to install a couple of bathroom exhaust fans where there were none previously. Job went quickly, they cleaned up the work area very well and fans work great. Attic Air are very responsive, very professional and all-around nice guys - highly recommended.

.Team was great. They even very inexpensively fixed a few items on the exhaust of the bathroom fans. Later on I had a contractor up in the attic (unrelated item) and he commented on how well the work was done and how the insulation was of very high quality. Team operated very professionally when it was about 150 degrees up there last august. Very happy with them

I had a problem last night with my fans because the insulation box was not working. I did manage to make it work when I increased the speed and I don’t know if I will be following up on that. The person I worked with, Robert, was very professional and helpful. He gave me some references for some other work I needed to be done. They were prompt. Their installation of the fan worked really well. I would recommend them to other members. I spent around $400 or $500 on that work. There are a not a lot of people who do this work.

I found them on Angie's List. They were phenomenal. He was a very respectful and honest man, I would recommend him to anyone. I thought what he charged was very reasonable. He extended the baffolds so that he would block the air flow. I'm really, really happy with him. He's a very humble and honest guy, he does what he says. The respect their house and that's what I'm looking for in people who come in my house.

Great. The owner was great to deal with on the phone. On the day of the job, they arrived on time, the owner was there with two additional guys. The insulation had to be blown in through an opening above my son's room. I was worried about insulation flying around in the air and getting in the carpet, but we had no problems with it. They were super clean, you wouldn't even know they were there. The fan in the bathroom is great. It is quieter than our other fans. They had to cut holes in the ceiling and roof. I thought I would have to paint the ceiling after they were done, but the ceiling was perfect. This winter we noticed a water spot around the fan and called the company to come look at it. We weren't sure if it was a leak, something defective with the vent on the outside on the roof, or just the blizzard. The owner was great to deal with. He had no problem and no attidude about scheduling a time to come inspect the fan. The owner himself and two guys showed up. They were in the attic, on the roof, everything was in good shape. So they tested it and poured 50 gallons of water on the outside vent on the roof, and no leak. They determined, and I believe them, that it was the blizzard and the thunder snow that blew snow into the vent which melted and dripped down. This company guarantees its work, and if we did have another water spot after the spring rains, I have no doubt the company would be right back out fixing the problem. However, I don't expect a leak, the once a century blizzard won't happen again in my lifetime. I would highly recommend this company. AND I forgot to mention - the extra insullation really helped keep the warm air in the house this winter. Thank you Attic Air.

They didn't oversell me and they sold me exactly what I needed at a good price. They actually solved the problem of too much moisture in the attic and it wasn't too expensive to correct the problem. Another company that I had used recommended them. They were honest and professional. They were very prompt, very quick and very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend them and I would absolutely use them again.

They came out to do provide additional ventilation in our attic. Robert the owner was honest in his assessment of the job and did not try to "upsell" us in any way. His prices were very competitive and he gave a good explanation of the work to be done. They came as scheduled and completed their work timely. The exterior job was excellent. I did have to readjust some of the insulation from around the vent sites to allow more air to get to the soffit vents but overall we were satisfied with their work.

I called Attic Air because our attic ventilation fan had stopped working. Mr. Carroll gave quotes over the phone for a number of options for replacement of the entire unit. When they arrived, it was determined that the original unit was under warranty, and it could be repaired by replacing only the motor. We decided to pay extra for a larger, heavy duty motor with extended warranty. They also determined that our soffit vents were plugged with insulation, showing us the vents to demonstrate this was true. So we also paid to have the vents unplugged. We have used Attic Air several times over the years to replace or repair the attic fan. They have always have given fast and professional service at a reasonable price. We also requested an estimate for installing extra insulation in the attic, which we expect to have them do in the near future.

This company provided a quote the same day I called. The owner was on site and worked along with his skilled employees. Polite, professional, and a days work for a days pay. Perfect clean-up.
