Jack's Roofing

I was pleased with the work they did. We invited a few others to come out and provide estimates but only Jack's and another one did. Only Jack's would consider a recover but since the underlying infrastructure was good and we only had one existing layer of shingles we felt that a complete removal and replacement was not required. We saved several thousand dollars by doing the recover.

Great, experienced, friendly crew. Came early, worked late in hot weather. Paid close attention to the details on a multisurface roof on 1800s house. Took care not to harm landscaping and did great cleanup at the end of each day. Stuck by the original and lowest estimate and delivered as scheduled. Guaranteed not to leak. Would definitely recommend Jack's roofing.

Very professional and prompt. Had some shingles blow off with the 1st storm after roof was put on and Jack's Roofing employee was right here replacing those shingles very promptly. They just hadn't had a chance to "set" yet. There was nothing wrong with the applying of the roof. I would definitely hire again and recommend to anyone who needs his services.

The entire crew was very professional and courteous. They were hard working and efficient. They were also very punctual. The job was completed in a day and a half. They did excellent work and did a great job with clean-up. I would definitely recommend them!

It was done quickly, and looked great. However there were two holes left that birds nested in and rainwater leaked into When I complained he came back and fixed it all and now it is sealed and very good. After all is said & done I am happy with the work.

Terrific! The crew were prompt, punctual, & professional. All debris, nails, old roofing..etc...was cleaned up and removed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Overall the work went well. They had to replace some rotten decking but the additional quote on that was very reasonable. My only complaint is they ask you to be there for the estimate, when no other company in the area requires this, and the man was late getting there. The price was extremely fair and I would use them again in the future.

They gave the appearance of a normal roofing crew but they handled themselves very professionaly and did high quality work. I have worked on roofs in the past and they did the work exactly the way I would have done it. They worked very hard and got the job done with in two days. They were very accomadating and it was a very good experience.

Jack came right out after my first call to do an estimate. He is very friendly and I received the estimate from him in a timely fashion. He told me he would do the work in about 3 weeks, and he did. The work only took 2 days. The garage looks fabulous. There were some sharp bits left about on the driveway, but that is probably because terrible weather came up as they were finishing. Rather than patching the hole on our house's siding, they replaced the entire panel. It doesn't look perfect because it needs to fade to match the rest of the house (and I assume it will do so soon!), but it is so much better than having a hole there. The person who answers the phone for Jack is very helpful and just a pleasure to talk to!

The roofers were on time, and performed the job in a professional and timely manner. They cleaned up and checked with me to make sure I was satisfied with the job before they left. They cleaned up and left without wasting any time. Totally professional!

The company was very easy to work with and performed on time to my satisfaction. The only minor complaint is that they created a mess in the attic, but it was minor and of little concern to me..

It was the same storm that took out my fence and it damaged my roof also. His name was on the very top of ratings of Angie’s List. I can’t remember the next person’s name, who I would have called if Jack would not have answered because their were good reviews on both of them but I called Jacks Roofing and I got him. He came and gave me the estimate. It was insured. It was all good. I paid about $7000 for my house, garage, shed and a carport roof. It was a chunk of change. The first time his crew was here, I was working and I have got a little dog that I keep in a cage when I am gone to work and he is in my hall by the front door. He had never had anybody up on my roof before, except me and usually he is outside watching me so I didn’t know how he would react with the men up on my roof and stuff. The first day that I knew, the crew would be up on my house, while my dog was in, I called Jack wanting to know if he had been to my house that day. He said that he had just left from my house. I wanted to know if his crew mentioned anything about my dog throwing a fit when they got up on the roof and started working. They said that he barked a couple of times but then they heard nothing after that. I think I explained to him when he was here giving an estimate, that the dog had never experienced anybody up there with him locked up in the house and I would probably call him to check on my dog if he was throwing a fit or whatever. My dog was well behaved when they were all up there. It was like working with people that I know and that is how friendly they were. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. They apologized for any inconvenience which was not there at all. It was very hot outside. There would not take anything from me. I told them that there was a waterfall outside my house and soap if they wanted to washup before they ate or laughed or whatever. They wouldn’t do that either because some customers complain that they use the water faucet. I also told them I could get them some clean towels. I am from a family of men so I am not used to them, not letting me fuss a little bit over them. I would rate them highly and will use them in the future.

I have been waiting on Jack's roofing to send there paper work to the insurance so they can set a date to complete the roof. Jack's Roofing tried to work with the Bank (Chase) but thanks to the bank for not releasing the funds of my insurance check from the storm back in may of 2011 my roof is still not fixed. I must say Jack's has tried very hard to get this resolved. Thank you for trying.

Given an estimate approximately 3 weeks before work started for soffit and fascia and new gutters. Given that scraping and painting the house was going to run only approximately $1000.00 less, I felt the price was fair. The crew that was sent by Jack's were hard working, professional and friendly. I asked that a gutter be extended a little more (due to personal preference) and this was done without any argument or bad attitude. I would definitely recomment this company.

Contacted Jack's Roofing for a aged roof (which by chance was after a storm). The company came, gave a written estimate detailing what would be done and type of shingle that would be used. Due to the storm, their crews were busy and lots of rainy days but they made it back as soon as they could so I cannot fault them there. They had the roof done within 1 1/2 days, the crew working hard but competently. There was no mess left in the yard and they checked for nails (with the rolling magnetizer). I had checked with the State Attorney General's office before hiring and there were no complaints. They were also insured and Jack has a current license (verified by the state). His prices are quite reasonable in my opinion and his work quality is very good. The owner has several years experience with roofing and he checked on the job when the work was complete. I would definitely use this company again.

I got a quote from this company, as well as one other. The other company was known by my insurance carrier. I used the other company because it seemed easier for the insurance claim.

I got an estimate and also a referral from several friends. Work had to be postponed several times because of my traveling and very wet weather. When done, everything was expeditious and very good clean up, including special care for collecting nails with magnetic roller because I drive tractor near the house. The only disappointment was the subcontractor who took along time to come for the huge trash bin and then did it when ground was wet, making ruts in my lawn. However, that was repaired. Good relations with Jack and all his men.

The woman who answered the phone was rude and very unprofessional.

I've used his company on two separate occasions, each time he beat other estimates and his crew did a great job.
