Great. They did an amazing job without interruption except for one day of non-stop rain. Perfect execution, and the highest level of craftsmanship. They turned our yard into our favorite room. I can’t recommend them highly enough, and I am very critical.

Looked so nice when they were done. They completed the entire project in 1 day.

David is completely invested in getting the job done right. We had concerns about how a few things would look and expressed that, he ensured we got exactly what we were looking for. The work was meticulous and the crew was very good. A big job can be stressful and David provided us with the product we envisioned and more. A year later we had a slight adjustment that was needed and David came out without question and made the adjustment. We will go with David on any project like this in the future. He cares!

Came on time when looking at my property and said I would get a quote and he would come over to show me what it would look like on his computer (since I could not keep a copy of drawings unless we go under contract with them)...which was cool with me. Never heard back after they visited my house. I received estimate after I called 1 month later asking for status of the home visit/assessment. That is fine as sometime I forget to follow up on something too. However, after looking at the emailed quote I emailed them back asking for some sort of guidance on what it would look like since I have never done this before. They said they would send me some 3D depiction since they never came over or sent me anything initially. Still waiting for him to come and visit or send me something. Guess I will go to another company to give me an idea and take my money.

David and his team installed a Unilock brick paver patio and pvc drain pipes in ground to run out in yard vs. the spouts near house and patio area. I received multiple quotes and David came in with the lowest bid with the highest quality product and service. David suggested a couple ideas that I agreed to like a grill pad and patio door landing that pulled the patio out from the perimeter of the house so I could use as a planting bed. The finished patio came out beautiful and I am very happy with it. I have rec'd numerous compliments on how it looks. There were some minor issues with communication in the beginning and weather was not cooperating at first but once the patio was finished it was worth the minor issues. I would highly recommend David and his team.

David was very professional and responsive, which was wonderful, considering I called at the height of paving busy season! He came out to the house and we discussed a few ideas. I received one other bid, which came in at a similar cost to David's. I chose David because he came backed with stellar Angie's List reviews, and I preferred his design. His crew was prompt, and cleaned up at the end of each day. I did have a really big concern, which I communicated on several occasions through out the job, starting on day 1. I was assured my fears would not come to fruition. Unfortunately at the end of the job, I was still not happy with the issue I had brought up. Here is where David really showed that he has class, and will DO RIGHT by his customers. Anyone who is considering hiring Strictly Stone for a job needs to know they can absolutely TRUST David to do a great job. Next step is to have him do the landscaping around the patio, and then I will have the nicest backyard in the neighborhood. My house is on a main corner, and I have received many compliments by passers by.

Dave and his team were true professionals. At the beginning, Dave listened to our wants and needs from our space and then suggested various ideas along the way that simply turned out GREAT. Dave is great to do business with! I would use them again for any additional work I do!

They provided a sketch, but the follow up wasn't that great, that I was expecting an estimate for the work, and there wasn't any follow up. I sent him pictures, they never came out. The pricing wasn't that great for what I got.

David Arroyo owner was called, he was on time for schedule appointments 2 times. His estimate was a professional presentation and the quote was fair with the best warranty. David was great to work with, his crew was excellent. Clean-up was good. They returned as requested for a top soil back-fill (staircase). Would use again.

David arrived on time and spent a lot of time measuring and reviewing the condition of the patio, as well as listening to all my concerns. His estimate arrived a few days later and the price was competitive. I called him back to discuss it and had to leave a voicemail. When he called back, I wasn't in town. A sudden family emergency took me out of state for over a month, after which my financial situation was such that I had to put the project on hold. Out of all the vendors I spoke with, David impressed me with his professionalism and responsiveness.

I called to get repair work done on front brick steps that are loose and need adjusting. No one called me back to say yes or no. If they don't do repair work then they should state it in the initial phone call.

David was amazing from start to finish. We just built a custom home and he was the best contractor that we did business with hands down. He takes the time to listen to what your goals and wants are and comes up with the best design for you. He understands if you have a budget and respects it and never tries to up sell you or sell you things you don't need. We finished the deck right before we had a streak of horrible weather. In result we had some issues with the new trees they planted because their roots were not strong yet. David instantly sent someone out and fix the problem free of charge. David is amazing, his workers are amazing, and his office assistant is amazing. I can not say enough great things about Strictly Stone. If you are looking for someone who is hands on and will follow through with everything they say then stop looking and call Strictly Stone. I would recommend them to my closest friends and family.

It's been a while, but I remember some sort of delay in getting the job started or finished. Other than that delay, everything went just fine. The removed a railroad tie wall and replaced it with a brick paver wall that is beautiful. They also delivered dirt and seeded around the wall and our driveway. Once they started, it seemed like the wall was up in no time. I believe we waited a bit on the dirt and seeding work but it was done very well and covered with hay like protective blanket. All in all I am very happy with the work they did.

David and his team performed an excellent job. They worked hard every day and performed the job on time. We are extremely pleased. The stone patio included a drainage system and fire pit. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The patio was made with the finest materials and the workmanship was superb. Additionally, we believe that we received a great value for the work that was done. We spend a lot more time outside since Strictly Stone built this wonderful patio.

David was very nice when he came to do my quote. Unfortunately the quote was over my price range. I was very satisfied with what David offered but i decided to go with a different company because they quoted me at about 75 sq. ft. more and about $1,500 less.

I talked to David. He told me they don’t do service in my area of Chicago & didn’t know why the Deal was listed. I told him I was just looking for a design & depending on the design we’d see about they'd do the work. He said if I sent him an email though with dimensions he would get back to me with an internet-based design, which I was fine with. I sent the email this past Monday (29th). A week later he’s not returning my calls or replying to my email or texts. I don’t have the time to wait around for this & would've really appreciated some kind of response - anything at all. He was really professional at the start but just dropped communication for no apparent reason. I'm getting a refund from Angie's List.

The young man who came out to do the measuring was very nice and very personable. I thought he was very professional and he was just very good. I am still considering using them.

David Arroyo from Strictly Stone did excellent work.David Arroyo from Strictly Stone came out to our house on 6/20/2012 to give us an estimate. He arrived at the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and reallly listened to what we wanted done in our yard. He sat down with us and showed us catalogs of various Unilock Bricks and colors and gave us several different options to choose from in regards to material. After choosing the Bricks and material we explained to David we were on a budget. He provided an estimate via E-Mail. David Arroyo's estimate was within our budget total of $4,192.50. His crew completed the job in two days and did excellent work. They also did a great job of cleaning up the job site.My wife and I choose David because of his knowledge and 19 years of experience. We highly recommend David Arroyo from Strictly Stone and would use them again!

I made contact with about 6 different contractors before settling on Strictly Stone. David explained things much the same as all the other guys, but you could tell he had lots of experience, many years of business, and had no major customer problems. I had enough of various contractors bad mouthing other contractors, so it was a refreshing meeting to hear him talk about what we wanted rather than what a contractor wanted for us. They estimated that it would be about 3 weeks before he could get started on the job, and that was accurate within a day! The options presented were exactly what we wanted, and he has one of the hardest working crews in the county. Those guys showed up around 7 every morning and worked until 6 or 7 every night. The workmanship was fantastic too. It was a pleasure watching his guys in action, and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. I also appreciated the creative and effective ways of dealing with the little nuances and and gotchas that you run into along the way such as our awkward backyard grading and some drainage changes in the gutters that had to be made. I always wait a couple of months before I make a review so that I don't have a positive bias from being giddy about the job, but I am thrilled with the outcome of our project, and look forward to dealing with David again on some future projects I have in mind!

Overall this was a horrible experience and I am now skeptical.

David and his team were detailed, professional, thorough, and it looks amazing on the 2-acre property! We have a three story patio scape in the back that we are going to ask him to scope next. He is absolutely someone you want to talk to!!

When we decided to investigate the possibility of updating our front entrance, we identified 3 concrete contractors and 3 hard scape contractors for bids. We were on a fast time line to get the work completed to minimize the impact on the landscaping. Strictly Stone Inc was one of the contractors contacted for an estimate. He responded promptly and courteously with a competitive bid for pavers. Upon receiving all the bids, we decided to update the front entrance with another material, based on cost. We would recommend Strictly Stone Inc to anyone based on their prompt and courteous bid response. He made some really good design type suggestions which we did not consider due to the added cost which we were not planning on.

David contacted me pretty quickly after I contacted Service Masters. He was courteous and professional and scheduled time the same day to meet me. What I appreciated about David was that he did not make a "hard" sell. I felt he was very knowledgeable and he had a genuine passion for his trade. He took time to answer my questions and took measurements and shortly thereafter provide an estimate. At the time of the meeting, I was not sure of all the work I wanted completed, the estimate provided quotes for both the patio and front porch. After receiving the quote David an I exchanged emails and phone calls to work through the details of the work at a cost that was affordable to me. He was nice enough to make another visit specifically to meet my husband and address his concerns. Overall, David always stood by the quality of his work and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely contact him if I need this type of work in the future and i would recommend Strictly Stone, Inc. to a friend.
