Raising Chicago's Concrete Inc

I contacted company 3 times attempting to get them to come to my home to give me an estimate for concrete raising. We made an appointment for Friday July 10, 2015 at 8:00 am. No one showed up which was very rude and inconsiderate of my time. Tried calling company to find out why no one showed up. Left message but no one from company bothered to return my call.

Mario was to come and provide an estimate this morning after speaking with him yesterday at 8am. Its now 915am. He didn't show, didn't call, didn't respond to my voicemails or my text messages. Other reviews indicated his prompt arrival at 8am and this was our scheduled time as well. Instead myself and one other were left standing around.

Everything was fine. He's a great guy and communicator. He called me back and was eager to do the job. Other people took weeks to call me back. I hire contractors for both home and work. I would use him again.

After describing the work that we needed done, Mario said he could stop by the house and review the job and provide us a quote. Since both my husband and I work, he said we did not need to be there which was a good thing for us. His quote for services was very reasonable and we set date and time (8am) for work to start. Mario showed up on-time (a rarity for contractors) and started work right away. Work site was completely cleaned up after the job was completed as well. Mario was incredibly professional and extremely nice and straightforward, excellent qualities I wish all contractors possessed. Mario said he also does other concrete work outside of concrete lifting and based on my experience I'd highly recommend him.

Mario was terrific and very easy to work with. Despite our distance from his office, he came out to make an estimate in person. He provided a prompt quote with a competitive price and quickly scheduled the repairs. The experience was hassle-free, and he did quality work: delivering exactly the result we wanted.

Mario and crew showed up at the time on the date that had been agreed to. The project required about one hour. At the end of that time, four sections of side walk had been raised / aligned at agreed to. They cleaned the work area at the end of the job.

Mario Pasillas is the most professional in his trade, most of the others in my opinion need to take lessons from Mario and his team. They came out a few days ago and gave us a real fair quote which was hundreds of dollars less than his competition. As far as the work, they didn't waste anytime and did a beautiful job, finished sooner than I expected. I will defiantly use Raising Chicago Concrete again and will recommend to anyone I know in the future needing work.

When I called to request an estimate, Mario asked if he could come at 8 am the next day and that is just what he did. He reviewed what was needed, prepared an estimate on the spot and let us know when he could begin. We told him we'd arranged for competitive bids and would get back to him, and he was fine with that. After getting our second estimate (and having received no response from the third firm we called) we told Mario we wanted him to do the work, and within a couple days he began it. There was a hitch after the stairway work was completed - he had an equipment problem and had to obtain special parts to repair his pump. But two days later he was back and completed the job. They also did a great job of cleaning up. We are very pleased with the results. The concrete is about 45 years old so we knew it wouldn't be perfect, but we were impressed with just how well he was able to raise different pieces different heights so that the final result was a level walk that looks SO much better than it did a week ago. We'd gladly recommend this firm to others.

Mario Pasillas (Principal) and his crew did a beautiful job and did it very efficiently without any inconveniences to us (as homeowners). Friendly, but professional. Plan to have them replace sidewalks.
