Golden Fence

Description of Work: They placed a partial fence in our backyard. They postponed the start of the work 3 times and arrived later than they said every time. I did not like that. On the other hand, the fence looks great and Eric replies quickly on your questions. So in the end my feelings are mixed about the experience. If you want to use them you need to be patient, the result is nice!

Description of Work: They replaced three fence posts. They were extremely easy to schedule and got it done within a day or two of our call. They just asked how many posts, quoted it over the phone and came our and did the work the next business day. Easy easy. | |I put a B down for price because I have no idea if 550 was a good price for replacing 3 posts.

Description of Work: I needed a nice 6' privacy fence for 2 sides of my yard. Got my 3 quotes and Golden was most reasonable and professional. I absolutely love the fence and other than having a delay in the start date due to broken down truck, everything went smooth as silk. One full day and they were done and cleaned up!!The guys were very meticulous in putting it up and it's beautiful!!! Left my yard neat and clean. Even the neighbors think it's beautiful! Would highly recommend Golden if, as others have said, you can be patient in getting your day.

Description of Work: I contacted Golden Fence to have them replace my back fence in time for our wedding. They came quickly and provided a decent quote but failed to mention that they weren't actually licensed in my town. When I went to the city to get the building permit, I found out that Golden Fence wasn't licensed. I informed them that they needed to get licensed with the city in order to do the work, and I was reassured by the owner that he would take care of it. This delayed the project by several weeks, and after several assurances from the owner, he finally said that they wouldn't be able to do the work. At this point, it was a week and a half before our wedding, and I was unable to find another contractor to do the work and ended up doing it myself.

Description of Work: Please note: I did not go out of my way to bash this company. Angie's list sent me an email requesting that I rate this company since I previously did a search on them. Well, since you asked, Golden Fence is horrible and I'd never recommend them. We planned on using them however they could never be clear about when they could arrive. Everytime we'd call the owner, Eric, the response we were given was "call next Tuesday." Then next Tuesday, he wouldn't answer. I can understand rain delays but the lack of communication is horrible. We ended up going with Aztec fence. They were punctual, they were professional and they even ended up being a little bit cheaper. Plus, they actually measure out their cuts when making the arches on the top of the fence instead of free-handing it, unlike Golden. Save your time, go with someone more professional.

Description of Work: The company came and gave an estimate for a privacy fence for our back yard. We were VERY surprised with the price they gave! It was a few hundred less that others that game us an estimate. We have not had them come do the work as of yet but will in the future.

Description of Work: Estimate on 200 feet of 6 ft. wood privacy fence. We chose this company because of the excellent reviews on Angie's list and because they are a local owner and the price was a bit cheaper than their competitors. |We signed the deal and now we wait for the workmanship. I plan to leave a review once the job is complete.
