DECORATIVE CONCEPTS

The painter was on time, but brought a second painter (a surprise) because he said he had a dentist appointment and would return later. They both did a reasonable job on the walls and ceilings of the bathrooms, but there were three problems. They only spot-primed (I'm frankly not sure if this is a problem or not), they left a fair mess for me to clean up and this is really the problem. The owner (Eric) believed that painting a bathroom does not include the inside of the door, the painted medicine chest door, or the window. When my husband called to confront him about this, he returned to do the window and claimed he had left his paint here (he hadn't), and implied that somehow we'd done something with it, and he had to buy more. He did a quick and sloppy job on the window and left more mess in the bathtub underneath, then slopped some paint on the wooden handrail down to the basement.
