I hired Denis Hanson Construction for two projects. To remodel both my bathroom and kitchen. This guy is unbelievable - he does NO work himself - he sits and tells you all about his current get rich quick invention and has kids ( very nice kids however) do all the work. Then he spends the rest of the time insulting the kids and calling them dummy. I have never seen anything like it. The projects took longer then he quoted and cost us more money too. like two grand more! He sheet-rocked over the vent to the air conditioner in the kitchen, one light switch doesn't work and the fan above the stove doesn't vent to anywhere - so it just runs... The bathroom is the major problem - although the workmen he hired to do the tile and really done wel - they installed the toilet wrong and we have sewer gas smell. he came over several times with a list of excuses how it can't be anything he did. but I have called four different plumbers now and they all say to re-set the toilet. I gave Mr Hanson until 5pm to reply to me when he could do this work - but he tells me his guarantee has expired and I would have to pay him. This guy will bull-shxx and never raise a hamer - he has been the only one who worked on my house and I have never had this problem in the six years I lived here prior to this rehab. All Denis had to do is reset the toilet. Now I will look on angies list to find someone who can do the job. My recommendation is to never call this guy ever!
