The work itself was good. They didn't stay on the property line very well, though. I would price other places along with this one before I used them again.

We really appreciated the initial consultation from Aztec Fence. The owner was very helpful in advising us on what approvals and permits we would need for our fencing project, and the quote was very reasonable. After we obtained all of the necessary approvals and permits, we arranged a day and time to do the fence installation. The crew showed up a little early (but better than late) and got started without needing any support from us (again, so it didn't matter that they were a little early). They worked diligently througout the day and ended up finishing early. They cleaned up all of the dirt from the post holes and any debris from the construction of the fence. The workmanship of the fence, which was constructed on site rather than pre-fabbed, was great - solid, good-looking, and no problems or errors that we can see. The fence has been up for more than 4 months now, and it is still great. The owner assured us that if (and when) we have any cracked boards, they will come out and replace them free of charge, but so far we haven't seen any. Overall, a great experience. We would hire Aztec again and recommend to our friends in the area who are thinking about installing a fence.

Sam the estimator came to my house promptly and punctually one evening to accomidate my schedule. He offered his opinions on what type of fencing to install and even drove me to a few installations he had recently done in my neighborhood. He wrote me an estimate on site that included easy to understand options on per foot costs for several types of fences. The removal and installation went very well. The crew showed up right on time and the estimator came with to go over the job with them in the morning. This was very important to me as I was leaving for work, and felt confident that the job would be done as planned. When I came home the job was complete exactly as described. The crew cleaned up the site and other than the new beautiful fence you could hardly tell they were there. The only negative comment I may offer is that I had to get the permit from the Village myself. It would have been nice if they would have taken the plans to the Village and pulled the permit to save me the hassle. Overall, I was very pleased and will recommend Aztec Fence with confidence.

I called one day and the estimator was able to come out that same day. Always nice because when you want to do a project, you want to do it right away! His estimate was carefully, accurately and thoroughly done. The permit process takes a bit of time, then they came out shortly after receiving the permit. The 2-man crew did all of this in one, hot day. They actually built my fence, section by section. One of my primary reasons for new fencing is to keep my new small dog IN the yard, as he was getting OUT of the yard underneath other fencing that was not low enough to the ground. Mission accomplished. The crew also carefully measured the boards for the picket fence ensuring they were just 2" apart. All is arched, and beautifully done. The cleanup was meticulous even keeping my garden unscathed which is all along the 47' side. I would definitely recommend them.

The salesman was great. He did very precise measurements. The crew showed up on time and finished our fence, of about 300 feet, in one day. Everything was cut and made on site. The red cedar looks great and is holding up well. We got a picket fence with a dog ear top and two inch gaps between pickets. Overall, the fence looks great, the work was done quickly and professionally and all the installers were very nice.

The company was very responsive and came out and gave a quote and showed us different types of fences. After we chose what we wanted, Aztec came out and removed the old fence. They were supposed to remove the old cement but left many areas of the old post cement holes filled and tried covering them with dirt. The dirt eventually washed away and when we called them to come and finish the job, they never did, would not return calls and just left us hanging. We let it go thinking that it will be too much hassle and since the fence did look good and it did seemed sturdy we just overlooked it after that. Now, we just had some posts replaced which broke. The original fence is 9 or 10 years old now. Well when the company replacing the posts came and removed the old posts and cement, we saw that there was only 6 inches of cement at the top of the three foot hole that the post was in. SIX INCHES. What a shortcut. No wonder everything seemed so wobbly. Now I will have to worry about the other posts. Yes it has been 10 years, but I have neighbors that have had their fence in for 25 years and no issues with rotting (one of the posts was rotten at the cement line because the cement was not domed but more like a bowl to hold water) or wobbly posts. When I brought this to the sales person's attention, he said "There is cement there". This was in response to me showing him a post where the six inches of cement was more than a foot below the ground and even when I poked the ground with a screw driver and just ground up some dirt in front of him, we could not see the cement. I know it is a long time since the fence was put in, but these kinds of practices are not one time things. Four of my posts needed replacing and had six inches of cement. I wonder what all my other posts have. If you hire these people, watch when they fill the post holes with cement.

I requested estimates from three different fencing companies. One never showed up, one left a estimate of $425.00, but they were going to cut and weld the bent poles. I did not want a weak point in the pole setting in the ground and rusting. Also the estimate did not give me a very good description of exactly what they were going to fix or replace. Aztec gave me an estimate that was very clear, and precis of exactly what they were going to do. No welding, they stated they would replace the poles and set them in concrete. I chose Aztec, signed the contract and sent it in with half the money. Less than one week later they were here to fix the fence. They were professional, and clear when they spoke to me. A few hours later the fence was fixed just as they promised. I am very pleased. In fact I think the fence looks better now than it did on the day it was installed. Excellent work!

Ernie arrived on time for the estimate, and provided a detailed, written estimate and diagram of the fence. I liked the fact that all their fences are build with red cedar, and custom built on-site as opposed to built in the warehouse then shipped & installed. Our property has a big slope, so it was important that it be built to 'fit' the terrain. Most sections were 8 feet, but some sections were shorter because of the terrain and placement of previous fence posts / concrete bases. This was a 2-day job, and the 2-man crew arrived early, and we reviewed the plat of survey to make sure the new fence would be on or inside the property lines. They asked about how to handle certain issues with gates and fence sections butting up against mature trees. They cleaned up, and the fence looks great! Some of the fence boards were well above the ground due to steep slope, which could have allowed our small dogs to escape. However, upon learning of this Ernie went to HQ and brought back 15 new boards, and replaced those where there was a significant gap...so this solved the issue. My only minor complaint is that the office gave us very short notice (afternoon of the day before) as to when the job would start. Otherwise, we were very happy and would use Aztec again.

Could not be happier with our fence! Looks beautiful and it is very strong and private! The gentleman that came out to give the quote was very knowledgeable and professional and the guys that came to do the install were the same! They built the fence on site and made quick work of it! If we had to do it over again we would not change a thing! I highly recommend Aztec Fencing! Excellent w/ quote started right. Fantastic,professional,nice guys. Ricardo (salesman/project manager) was very prompt with both of our meetings and worked very hard to earn my business. He explained the product and the process of installation with much detail and to my satisfaction. The installation crew was able to complete the job in one day and was pleasant to work with. When questions arose,(regarding the location of a gate) the foreman contacted me immediately to discuss my options and to come up with a solution. Andrea at the office was very friendly during our conversations regarding the permit status and quickly sent certificates of insurance as requested. I will be happy to refer Aztec Fence in the future.

We haven?t decided who to use yet. There was nothing in particular that stood out about them. They were responsive and gave us a thorough estimate. They showed me what kind of fencing they had chosen and what our options were for the fencing job.

Do get bids, we had three, and the most expensive one was $9000, this person was subcontractor for Home depot. he did not seem to really interested in doing the job.he spent very little time looking and just gave us bids for different types of fences but also tried to change our minds about the type of fence. The next bid was for $7800 and he was general contractor worked alone and fencing was not his line of work. The bid for $4100 was obviously the best (we have approximately an acre of land) but we had to clear the brush so they could do the fencing.and the offer was only good for short period of time 30 days.to get the work done but was done in less than a week with help of our son-in-law and his son.the clearing took about 3 days overall but much of that time was only a couple of hours here and there, one day they woked for about 5hrs straight. My husband and I are both retired and in our 70's so we had to depend on our family for help. but my husband had been self employed so felt he knew what to ask for and get.He was outside and in the begining answered the questions and gave instructions of what he wanted. Do be available to answer questions about where you want the fence, the gates and if it is okay to be inside the property lines if neccessary..We did keep the dogs indoors for the day and just walked them. They must of brought their lunch, because they never left all day and worked until 8pm and it was getting dark. Friday they came back about 9am and finish the job filling in the all around the fence so the little dog could not get out. Don't pay the full price until the fence is done the way you want it.We pay half at the start and the rest when the job was completed, and we have a guarantee for 2 years for parts and any failure of the fence. The fence is is very nice and it is done very professionally the corners are square the fence is bent correctly going up hill and down the other side all in all I love my new fence.

Initial contact with Jim Crane went very well, he came out the same day and left a quote inside by screendoor in the backyard. Good communication about what he saw. After checking out a few other companies, I decided to go with Aztec to do the repair the following week. Received a call to schedule a time and they came out in the expected time frame. The work was done and the area cleaned up.

They did a great job! They were very timely. It was less than what we expected from the original quote. They were also courteous.
