I arrived home from a business trip to Washington DC on Friday 7/12 and immediately began doing laundry. I moved the first load from the washer to they dryer and turned it on, only to have the dryer stop and flash an "E2" code on the display several minutes later. I opened the dryer and it didn't feel hot. I thought "Oh great...time to buy a new dryer..." since mine is 12 years old. However, we just bought a new central air conditioner several months ago, and I really did not want to spend the money. I called the number for our repair guy, only to find the number disconnected because he retired. So I checked Angie's List and contacted Bryan. I left a message on Saturday 7/13 and he called us back in 20 minutes. He said that he would be able to come over on Monday 7/15, but that was the first he could do, and he apologized for not being able to come over sooner. (I'd like to point out that I'd have to wait about 10 days if I had contacted Whirlpool directly for the repair.) Monday was not a big deal because Saturday morning we were out at the laundromat anyway. Because we had researched the "E2" code online before we called him, we were able to tell Bryan what the problem was, and he was able to pick up the replacement part we needed on Saturday. Come Monday, Bryan arrived at our house when he said he would, and it took him just under 30 minutes to replace the part. His estimate was right on target.

I can't add a thing to the other glowing reviews except to reiterate that he was great. Very rare to get this kind of prompt service nowadays.

Bryan arrived promptly within his 45 minute window, just a couple of hours after calling him. He listened to the symptoms, guessed the igniter had outlived its average 5-year life, and removed enough parts to visually verify that the igniter wasn't working. He detailed the replacement cost. (parts/labor/service call) He had the appropriate igniter replacement in his truck, so he installed it. Everything worked properly after installing the new igniter. Fast, very professional, very knowledgable. Bryan is friendly and is great at explaining what he's doing.

My oven wasn't functioning properly (heating slowly or not heating at all). I called three different appliance repair places (from Angie's List who all had excellent ratings) prior to even calling Bryan's. Even after describing the symptoms my oven was having, no one could tell me what the problem MIGHT be or what the approximate cost for repair would be. All I was told was they needed to come out and look at the oven since it could be a hundred different issues. So I called Bryan's. He returned my call within 15 minutes of leaving my message and after describing the issues, Bryan immediately said it was probably the igniter and would cost about $190 or so with parts, labor, and service call charge. Since he was the only one to actually give me an idea of the issue and cost of repair, I scheduled him to come out that week. He showed up on time, and within 10 minutes had confirmed that the issue was the igniter. The repair was completed in about 30 minutes. Then he even took about 30 additional minutes to show me how to use my oven, since its a older model, and all of the functions I didn't even know it had! Through the course of this teaching lesson, he also discovered that the igniter for my broiler was also going out. He was honest and said he doesn't usually recommend people fix igniters for broilers since it's an oven function that less commonly used, but he said if I replaced it now, it would only be the additional cost of the part and no additional labor. So I decided to do that as well and now it's all working perfectly! I've even just called Bryan again for a repair of my old dishwasher!

Bryan Hanson does what he says he is going to do and at the price he say's he will do it for. He is very professional and I would absolutely recommend him others!

Bryan has been working with us for at least 4 years. He is honest, reliable, professional and has a ton of experience. So grateful to know a such a reliable and trustworthy repair professional.

He was polite and professional when I called - gave me an estimate on the phone, which was the same when I paid him. He gave a time window of an hour for his arrival time. He picked up the part near Chicago and arrived about 10 minutes early. Work was performed in a workman-like manner. He provided tips for range operation that were not included in my manual and showed me how to accomplish them should I wish. The repair itself took approximate 15-20 minutes. He was clean and neat in appearance and work. His truck was also neat and in good repair. I feel his appearance and that of his vehicle and the tools of his trade reflect the way he will perform his work. Cost seemed fair in the current economy. Since it has been awhile since I have had any appliance repaired I do not feel I can judge accurately for the parts, but based on other repairs I've had done in the past the labor cost seemed fair since it had to include his driving time to pick up the part and come to the repair site. He was polite and professional when he worked. He asked the right questions and provided sensible information. I will certainly use him a gain.

Bryan returned our phone call promptly and arrived as scheduled for our service call. He was clean, professional and efficient. He was patient when we asked questions.

Bryan is amazing. He has fixed our dryer and our dishwasher. He knows everything about these machines, and will tell you in detail what he's looking for, what is going on, and what he needs to do to fix it. He'll also tell you what you need to do to keep your appliances running well. He is punctual, responsive, and very helpful! Do not be alarmed if you hear him talking to himself or to the appliances themselves--that is just his way!
