Bill and his crew came out to my home and did all the framing, finishing wood work and log cabin siding. They were professional, curteous and met every deadline on time. I highly recommend Wolff Construction.

It didn't, they never bothered to call back

They did tile work that was not good corners not square, grout lines crooked they seemed to be in a hurry to get my job done. Also painting looks like it was done by a child with heavy brush lines in the corners and roller marks on walls and cieling His drywall taper slopped joint compound on the carpeting that I had to clean up every day and the nails and Joints can still be seen in some areas. Overall I would never hire this contractor again for anything.

Came out for an estimate said he would get it back to us in a few days then we never heard from him. Sent them a follow up email and got no response. Just a waste of everyone's time.

Guess What! It happened again! However this time it is different because Bill will not call us back. Now I have a new plumber fixing the issue who said that the piping was run improperly and needed a release value installed. This one is costing 880.00. I contacted Bill since I feel that he is responsible for this one, however, with no return call, I guess I will be eating this one too. Maybe he can actually find the time to contact his prior customers who paid over 30,000 for a deck. Maybe not. We will see.

I cannot speak highly enough about Bill and his team at Wolff Construction. During the contracting process, Bill was clear about details and flexible with meeting with me during off work hours to map out the work. He gave additional options to things I had both thought of and help me think through things I had not thought of. During the remodeling process, Bill and his team were prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They were thoughtful about how disruptive the process of remodeling the kitchen could be and took steps to mitigate it. During the process Bill was very responsive and easy to get on the phone when there was a question. I've already recommended Wolff Construction to other people who are need contracting services.

We are delighted with the results, and found Bill and his crew extremely easy to work with. They were punctual, polite and professional throughout the job. Demolition went smoothly and they left the site very neat at the end of every work day. The crew showed up on time every day, and stayed with the job until it was completely finished. They were responsive to our concerns about the supporting structure of the deck, and added membrane to each of the supports to prevent future rot of the boards. Their workmanship was very good and the railing is stronger, but they preserved the original look which we really liked. Bill's crew were polite and hard-working, and when his estimate of the length of the job went over by a few days the crew stayed with us until everything was done to our satisfaction. We give Bill Wolff very high marks in all categories, and would highly recommend him to other Angie's List subscribers.

Bill and his team are very professional and I highly recommend them. I talked to several contractors and he was by far the most knowledgeable. I told him we live in a home built in 1915 and wanted to keep the character of a turn of the century home. From there he basically asked a few questions about the porch and described in detail the joist, the concrete step (interestingly an old carpenter trick used to keep wood off the ground (before treated wood)), spacing, etc. (in detail!!!) without actually seeing the porch. I knew immediately he was the right person for the job. Bill is also led certified and that was extremely important to us because the wood on our porch had been painted with led paint and we have small children. He came out and assessed the job and provide a quote within a week. He was involved in the entire process . He taped off the entire area and used precautions to eliminate the old (100 yr) boards without a dust and paint storm. His crew had the job done within a week and we now have the most beautify porch in historic Wheaton that our children and family can enjoy. Thank again, Bill!

My family and I are so happy with our new basement. Bill and his crew are talented professionals. The work area was cleaned up every night. All my questions or concerns were responded to quickly. Best of all the project was completed in time for Christmas. I would definitely use Wolff Construction again,

From the beginning, my experience was great. Bill started making helpful suggestions on our first appointment, he also helped us make selections and provided us a detailed estimate with drawings. Once we agreed on the scope of work, Bill gave us a schedule and stayed on track to the end, even finished a few days early. I have referred WM Wolff Construction to family and friends with one planning a deck project for spring.

In the end, we opted for a different company. It was a very difficult decision as we know Bill's company would have provided us with a beautiful new porch. We would definitely recommend that folks contact him for a quote. He is very professional and very personable. We would definitely contact him again for future projects.

The workers were wonderful. They were prompt, efficient, tidy, and very courteous. They moved the furniture, taking care not to damage anything, and moved everything back into place when they were finished. My job was no small feat. On the first day I was greeted with a small army of workers. I couldn't get over how quickly they were able to install the floating floor in my bedroom (13' x 15'). There were two guys installing and two guys making the cuts, while the fifth guy was cleaning up and providing the materials. The teamwork was outstanding. By the end of the first day 3/4 of the work was completed. By early the last day, the flooring was completed (including a very challenging landing), trim was installed, furniture was moved into place, and the floors were swept and vacuumed. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Wolff Construction again or refer them to family and friends. Thank you Bill and your wonderful team of carpenters.

I had a water heater crack that caused a fair amount of damage to multiple floors and the drywall in my townhouse. After receiving a few quotes from different contractors I decided to go with WM Wolff Construction because their pricing was so competitive. I worked with Bill and from beginning to end my experience has been nothing less than superb. I'm currently under contract to sell the townhouse. He knew and understood that the sale of my home depended on him completing the work quickly and efficiently. Although I have not personally seen the finished product my tenants told me that it turned out great and that they had no complaints with the work or the workers themselves. I would HIGHLY recommend WM Wolff Construction! Thank you again Bill!

I went with him because he was very professional, knowledgeable and was recommended by Angie's List. He looked over the project and gave me suggestions on how to cut the cost. He showed us photos of other projects. He showed up very quickly and took measurements. In one day he had emailed us a proposal.

Everything went very well. Bill Wolff was very pleasant to work with and completed the project timely and accurately. His team did plumbing, built walls, painted, electric. I am very pleased.

It has been great! They were professional, they finished on time, they completed what they said they were going to, and it was cost effective.

The job went very well. The contractor arranged for the garage door sub-contractor to remove the garage door so the job could be done. The contractor replaced the beam above the garage door and all other rotted wood in the area. Then the sub-contractor returned to re-install the garage door, all in the same day. Everything was completed as planned and on time.

We would highly recommend Bill Wolff. We are new to the area and he was referred to us by an acquaintance. He is new to Angie’s List but has 18 years of experience, and a very nice portfolio. He arrived as scheduled and was knowledgeable regarding the work required to complete our projects. We knew immediately he would be our contractor. He LISTENED, plus he gave us good advice. We felt he was genuine and trustworthy, and he is. Our projects took four weeks; he stayed on schedule, stayed on budget, communicated daily, cleaned up at the end of every day and removed all debris. On days we were unable to be at home, Bill always made sure our house was secured before leaving. He does excellent work and is very personable and polite. We are extremely happy with our new tile, carpet and wood floors, custom made fireplace mantle, drywall repair and painting. (We were concerned because the wood floors involved removing and re-installing the kitchen cabinets, but he did an excellent job!) We are getting wonderful reviews and since we already have another project in mind, Bill Wolff will be our contractor.

Fantastic! When we first hired Bill, his price was so reasonable, we were a bit wary. However, he came through with great design tips to get started. When it came time to do the work, he and his people were always punctual, clean, and courteous. The projects were all done on time and exceeded our expectations of quality. For the few punch list items we found after completion, Bill was out within 1 day to make things perfect. We will definitely use him again.

My wife and I recently went through a process of interviewing and selecting a general contractor to finish our basement, in a home that we built over the last year. We went on a bit of a roller coaster ride with the builder of our home, so we were very careful in our selection process of who would handle our basement project. After interviewing five different general contractors, we thankfully selected Bill Wolff, owner and operator of W.M. Wolff Construction. A big part of why we selected Bill Wolff of W.M. Wolff Construction, aside for over 18 years of experience and expertise in his field, was the vision he had for our basement. He did not take the approach, as many other contractors, which centered around a ?you tell me what to do, and I?ll build it for you? mentality. On the contrary, after evaluating the rest of our house to get a sense of our style, and asking pointed questions about our goals for the project, Bill had a very specific vision for our basement, He captured everything and more in his vision, and executed in a fashion, that exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with the outcome of our project. A few characteristics about Bill, that set him and his company apart from others is as follows: 1. Bill was on the job site everyday of our project. He prides himself on his craftsmanship, and insists that he has first hand input, into every facet of the project. 2. His being on time, both to and from the worksite every day, allowed for my family and I to plan our busy schedules, around the project. He was never late, nor did he ever leave before that day?s project was completed. 3. His professionalism was portrayed not only in his work, but also in the way he interacted with myself, my wife, and my two year old daughter. He was always respectful, courteous, and sincere. 4. Bill runs a very clean operation. The work site was vacuumed or swept clean daily, drop cloths and rosin paper were used in walkways, and he even mopped our hardwood floors in our main living space during the drywall process. Remodeling projects can be messy, and we never felt any interference in our everyday lives because of ours. 5. The price quote we received from Bill was fair and very competitive. Moreover, there we NO SURPRISES along the way. Having been upcharged, throughout the entire process of our home build, and coming in 20% over budget because of this, I was very conscious of upgrade surprises. I can honestly say, that our project through W.M. Wolff Construction, never deviated from the original quote Bill provided us. 6. Bill?s attention to detail, supreme quality, and his willingness and insistence, on going above and beyond, not only eliminated any regrets we could possibly have, but solidified W.M. Wolff as our go-to general contractor for our upcoming projects around our new home. Working with Bill Wolff of W.M. Wolff Construction was a much needed breath of fresh air to our building experience, and we will be utilizing his services again in the near future.
