+ -1 moreWhen they did come to do the work, they were punctual, efficient and friendly and got the job done perfectly. I had them realign brick pillars supporting my front porch and also do some clean-up on ground-level bricks on one side of my house, the side exposed to the elements. The work was excellent, and the price was fair. I plan on bringing them in for a larger job in the near future.
Description of Work: Wanders & sons did a great job. My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that they were so booked I had to wait three weeks for them to do the job. But it was worth the wait. The elder Wanders came over promptly to give me an estimate. It's a family-owned and operated business with three generations of experience behind it, which is impressive.

+ -1 moreThey were a breeze to work with. They were personable, down-to-earth and communicative. When they were stuck in traffic, they would call and let us know. I actually did check on the traffic situation on the internet one time and their story checked out. They were honest. They had to wait for the weather to get better to start the work, and they were very clear about that. They worked over the weekend because we were going to have better weather. They then came back on the Wednesday and Thursday and finished up the job, and came on Friday morning to do one last thing. They were very responsive, and the quality of their work seems good, so far. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
Description of Work: We have a three-storey brick building built in the 1890s, and which was rehabbed in 2004. When they rehabbed it, they used mortar that was too hard for the brick along the parapet wall. So, there was some warping up there because the brick wasn’t allowed to breathe and there was some cracking and weathering. Because one whole side of the building is completely exposed, we get really walloped by the weather. The cracks were turning into bigger cracks. We had to tighten up the brick and patch the cracks. We used Wanders Tuckpointing to do that work for us.

+ -1 moreHe gave me other advise on what to do for my mold problem and for two windows I have that need to have the space below them filled with fiberglass and then case molding around it. I was really pleased. He showed up when he was supposed to.
Description of Work: I was getting water in through the building, right above my basement window. When they gave me an estimate, they said there were cracks in building above the window. Caulked all kitchen windows and tuck pointed on the one side where the cracks were.
