It went very well. We could really tell the difference in the windows and will be purchasing doors from them very soon. They are very clean, polite and respectful.

Dennis and his crew were awesome ! Dennis was always accessible and enthusiastic with helping us replace our old and tired siding. The new look is not only fresh and updated, but unique in some of the details Dennis helped us add. The crew were always punctual and clean, never leaving a mess behind. I called Sunshine for an estimate on a new patio door and the installation. Jim called with a time to come out and was at my house right on time. He explained in detail what his team would do and answered all my questions. I even called him later after the original estimate about the cost of a different door and he looked it up and gave me a new quote. His prices were very competitive and if I didn't get a great deal from another provider I would have used him.

I have used Sunshine 2x previously, for replacement of a couple of patio doors which went extremely well. Once again their quotation, willingness to explain the details, and flexibility in scheduling got them the job. I do not hesitate to recommend them; and already have, to friends and family.

From the first email to the installation, it was a wonderful experience. I am a single homeowner and didn't know too much about replacing doors and windows. Sunshine made the experience easy and painless. From the salesperson to the technicians that did the installation, all Sunshine's employees were courteous, helpful, tidy and personable. My condo unit was built in 1989 and the sliding doors were so bad that my draperies were frozen to the door frames. As soon as Sunshine left after installation (by the way, you would never know that new doors and windows were installed...the cleaned up the inside and the outside of the condo and you would have never known that anyone was ever there), I noticed an immediate change in the temperature in the condo...it was constant wherever I was...no more cold kitchen or drafty rooms! I would recommend Sunshine to all my neighbors and anyone else in the area. They are a first-rate outfit! Thank you Sunshine for providing me with a superb product and top notch installation. I am very appreciative!

We had all new windows installed in the upper level of our home. Two years later one window had moisture on the in between the panes. Once I called them they came out and looked at the issue. Within a week I had the replacement sash which they installed at no charge. All in all it was a great experience having Sunshine install new windows for us.

Jim from Sunshine Siding and Windows went and picked up the window in West Chicago came over and installed it himself and didn't charge us a penny ...he went out of his way to give us great service.... And the bonus was he did it with a smile .. so very personable and professional. I would definitely recommend them . the new owners are doing an outstanding job!

We like them. We used them a few years ago to install gutter guard mesh on the garage gutters and went back to them again for the main house. Good work and materials. Friendly installers. Very experienced.

The process for measuring the windows and getting a quote was straightforward, timely and hassle free. Scheduling was flexible. Workers showed up on time with a crew chief who stayed on site throughout. Work was completed on time after allowing for unforeseen removal and replacement of rotting sill and 2x4 framing which they did as an extra at a very fair price.

Called them for a gutter/downspout repair. They put me in touch w/ Randy who apparently handles gutters. I explained what I needed & he wanted to come out this weekend to look at the repair. I wanted to make an actual appointment so I could be there to show him, plus I am having landscaping work done so have appointments set up w/ other contractors & wanted to make sure he didn't come by when I was dealing with that - he didn't seem to like that (I'm guessing he thought I was getting other gutter estimates?) & immediately turned rude & I told me just to hire someone else because their minimum charge was $185. Had he even let me finish, he would've found out a contractor actually did the damage & was going to pay for the repairs, so that minimum charge didn't matter. Sad thing is - I think I hired them years ago to install a patio door (or so the girl in the office told me) - so much for repeat business. I will NEVER call them again

They replaced 5 windows and 1 bow window in our house. They installed new siding on our ranch house and new gutters and fascia. The owner was very helpful and informative when we were choosing the products. He did not pressure us in any way and I was comfortable dealing with him. The two men that did the work were punctual, conscientious, kept to the job and answered any questions we had.

I got a call back from Dennis and I explained that water started coming inside the house from the top of the window when it rained last Friday. He sent his repair tech Julio later that afternoon and found that the silicon seal was missing from parts of the window assembly outside. He took out his ladder and went through some serious ice and snow that have accumulated in the backyard and was done with the job within ten minutes. I called Dennis to ask about the cost of the labor and he did not charge me since it was a simple job and just asked me to tip the person who did the job $20. I gave him $40 and now my window leak is fixed. This is a great company and I highly recommend them. Dennis also provided me a great deal of useful information about the windows I have and I really appreciate that as I just moved in 6 months ago. I will definitely use their other services they offer in the future.

Great experience. Lowest quote, salesman was knowledgeable, honest, and prompt. Installation was flawless and they even were able to bump up the installation date a few weeks. Would highly recommend this company.

The owner, Dennis, was extremely helpful in showing and explaning to me the windows. He took the time to graphically design several options for the inserts that are required by my homeowners' association so I could see what each option would look like. The installation was very clean and the installers were professional. When I had an issue with the sealing around a few of the windows a few days after install, they came right out, quickly determined what fix I needed, and completed it right then. I've had no subsequent issues and am pleased. Their pricing was the lowest of the quotes I received, but I feel I got just as good if not better a product as some of the higher quotes. I would recommend them.

Dennis and team provided us with excellent service, great price, and a high quality patio door. We couldn't be happier with the end result, and the cost was the best out of a few quotes we got. The installers were professional, well spoken, and delivered exactly what we asked for. Great job and highly recommend!

Dennis was very good with communicating all aspects of the job. He made sure he could get the existing siding so it would match the rest of house. He provided available dates for work to be performed to accommodate any schedule conflicts. The job was complete in one day and looks great. I am very happy with the work.

They told me they would get back to me with an estimate and I never heard back from them.

He never gave us a quote to replace the one section of gutter. After calling several times leaving messages with his secretary.(really with cell phones in this day ) . Sunshine finally stated he needed to get another person to help him and he could not replace the small area but the whole house downspouts needed to be replaced and this might help the standing water.Do not use him. Unprofessional!!!

Dennis came out in October to measure and talk with us about what we wanted, and to explain the differences between doing something for our old house and this new condo. (getting approvals, insurance, etc) He got a written quote back to us within a day or two and we booked the job in a week or so. The door didn't get installed until December because we had some scheduling conflicts (on our end, not theirs) and we had to wait a bit for the door to be constructed. But their team came in the week of Xmas to install it and it went great. There were 3 guys on the team who had the old door out and the new one in within a few hours. We had just installed new flooring inside and they were very careful not to damage or mark it up in any way. Dennis made sure we were completely satisfied after the job was complete.

Replaced 9 windows and one patio door. During estimate I was shown sample window. Patio door was replaced with French sliding doors. Price estimate was not the lowest, but very close. I chose this vendor because the windows would be ready in only two weeks, instead of six weeks for the lowest estimate. Took two days to complete installation, which required cutting back siding a few inches. Everything was done very professionally. The installers pointed out to me that the patio door did not close smoothly, and that the manufacturer would contact me. The manufacturer came out two days later and noted that one panel was slightly warped. He ordered a new piece, which should arrive in four weeks, at which time the piece would be replaced. (That was 1½ weeks ago, so I can't comment on the replacement at this time.)

They are great. We have had no problems. Dennis, always shows up and we consider him a friend. They are very professional. We would recommend them to anyone.

The quote was too high and I didn't really have a great response. I had hired them to do a siding project several years prior which went well, but for this project the quote was not per my expectations. I ended up not hiring them again.

They did a really great job and explained everything to me. They also cleaned up everything after the project was finished. There were no issues and the project, everything regarding the quote was very clear and the project was compeleted on time. Overall the project went smoothly.
