Bruce is reliable, prompt, and does a great job! I called him last minute and he was able to work me into his schedule in a reasonable time. He came when he said he would and was efficient in getting the job done. He saved me money by fixing the valves in the faucet rather than replacing the whole thing. The garbage disposal has been working great - no problems. I'd highly recommend Bruce for home renovation work. He did a great job on my bathroom renovation too! Very professional and pleasant to work with.

Bruce is a very easy going guy who is very knowledgeable of home repair and construction. He was a pleasure to work with and I only wish I had known about him years ago. You always knew when he would arrive and he would let you know when he was done for the day. I would most definitely hire Bruce again!

Bruce and John did a great job! My main bathroom had not been renovated since I moved in 1998. A major overhaul was needed including removing an old tan colored cast iron tub. Bruce and his helper John were recommended to me by my brother as dependable and would do a great job. There were some challenges with the plumbing in the shower that Bruce was able to fix. Getting the old tub out was a job that required breaking the cast iron apart. Not an easy task. Fortunately, the new tub was much lighter but required a cement underlayment that Bruce took care to install. The tile was the 12 x 24 size which took some skill to install on the floor and up the shower walls to the ceiling. He also added a strip of decorative tile in a band around the shower. A three level shelf insert was inserted into the back of the shower wall and covered with the decorative tiles. Bruce had to crawl up into the attic to install the halogen tub lights. In place of a narrow linen closet behind the shower, I had Bruce install a full length cabinet with pull-out draws. They skim-coated the walls before painting to ensure the walls were smooth. Final touches were added with the mirror, light, fan, and light switch. I've had a number of complements on the bathroom from family and friends.

Bruce Collette met with us to discuss the project when we asked him to estimate it. My wife had already been shopping for the tile and fixtures we wanted, so we told Bruce that we'd provide materials, and we'd like a quote for labor. Bruce provided us with an estimate that included his labor as well as a few items that we asked him to provide (shower base, cement backer board, etc.) within a couple days of our meeting. We contracted with him because we had heard great things about his work from neighbors, and his estimate was in the middle of the three we received. We were also more comfortable with the fact that he'd be doing the work himself. The project went very well, despite some unavoidable delays and several changes that my wife and I requested along the way. He was always receptive to the changes we requested, and priced them fairly as changes to the original contract. Bruce was very meticulous, and left the house clean every day. I would recommend Bruce highly and will call him for our next project.
