Done Just Right Cleaning

It was good. They showed up on time and finished when they said they would be done. Also, they showed me how to take care of part of it myself if I wanted to.

They tried really hard but could not find the necklace. I watched the little camera and I didn't see it either. They went above and beyond the call by figuring out the whole vent system and checking every possible area. I don't know what happemed to the necklace because both my grown daughter and I heard it fall. It was 14k gold with a teiny tiny diamond, both they said, would be easy to see against the silver ducts. I could tell they were dissapointed for me. They used a shop vac to hope to collect the necklace. We did find something gold but it was just part of a broken chain. They spent about 2 hours looking. They charged me only the minimum.

AMAZING. I wish all companies provided the same high quality service as DJR. David went above and beyond what was necessary and cannot thank him enough. He noticed a vent that was not attached properly and instead of just telling us about it - he actually took the time and fixed it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone

The house I purchased had been setting for 2years when I bought it.. They arrived on time, were polite, and asked questions concerning the house. Their work manner was very professional. When they finished the duct work they asked about the dryer vent and explained that this was the number 1 cause of home fires. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted the inspection, but they said they would inspect it and tell me if it needed cleaning. I wanted to be sure there was nothing in the vents that might be hazaardous. After checking the vent, they reported that somewhere in the duct work there was a clog, and the duct was pretty well closed. That explained what was leaking in the basement - condensation - and why every time I opened the dryer door it was so humid taking forever to dry the clothes. The side and top of the dryer were very, very hot to the touch. Too hot. I think it would not have been long before there might have been a fire. I was very pleased and would recommend them to anyone. They also have a referral plan where you get 10% on a referral. I would use them referral or not, and they put everything back together when they were done.

It went very well. Our tecnician call ahead to say he would be a little late (previous job just finishing up). When he arrived he was personable, polite, professional and well qualified. The work was done within 1 -1.5 hours. We are very pleased.

We called...they came out within a couple of hours. Very professional....explained what they were doing while fixing the problem. I have not had a problem with my dryer since.

I have lived in my duplex approximately seven years and never had the dryer vents cleaned. After the DJR men finished cleaning my dryer vents, I suspect the vents probably were never cleaned by the previous owner either. The DJR men were very professional and on time. They explained the process prior to starting the cleaning. It was a very rainy day and they took special care to cover their feet and were respectful of my home. Despite the fact that the cleaning, due to the extensive 'lintiness' of the vents after 7+ years, took longer then they anticipated, and challenges that we had finding the outside dryer vent, they honored the quoted price even when I acknowledge the additional work they put in and offered to pay for the additional time and effort. I was so impressed by their professional knowledge and care they took in their work, I have scheduled an air duct cleaning. Overall I am very pleased with their work!

We have noticed less dust in the two weeks since the vents were done and the dryer works more efficiently. They offered suggestions regarding the dryer vent--going from a flexible hose to sheet metal venting which would help to keep the vent cleaner and require less maintenance. We will contact them again and have already recommended them to others who are seeking similar service.

It was cleaner when they left. They were patient. I had the kids at the house and they were good about helping me get them out of the way. It was a very good experience.

I had an appointment at noon. These guys arrived right on time! They were very friendly and cordial. They asked permission before doing anything or going to different areas of my house which I appreciated greatly. They got right to work and were very careful with the equipment they were using. They were extremely thorough. They even gave me tips on how to prolong the benefits of the cleaning! The surprising thing was they weren't even trying to sell me anything or "add-on" items to their service. I shopped all of the best reviewed contractors for duct cleaning on here. Its only been 2 days since the cleaning and my wifes allergies have improved immensely. The air in our house smells and feels cleaner! DJR was easily $150-@00 less than all the others for the same service. I would definitely recommend DJR and I will use them again when the need arises.

It was an excellent experience. Dave and Al came to the house and they were very curtious, polite and friendly. We had animals to contend with and they were very patient. The job was everything we expected and more and they did an overall fantastic service. I have already recommended them to my sister and a person at work.

I called them, explained what I needed done, they quoted me over the phone, and that's what I paid. They called and asked If they could come earlier which was ok by me. They were professional and they did a great job finishing in the time to which they originally quoted me. They were thorough and kept the work area’s clean, and I felt they took the extra time to see the job done right.

My clothes dryer was not heating, so before I called a repairman or bought a new dryer, I called DJR Cleaning to clean my dryer vent. My appointment was made right away, and the two employees of DJR arrived promptly. They cleaned the vent tubing as well as the vent in the dryer. They also recommended that I replace one of the vent tubings leading to the outside because it was made of plastic. For a small fee, they replaced the tubing with aluminum. I was very pleased with the work. For being a new customer, I received a mug, post-it note pad, carpet spot cleaner, and magnet, advertising the company. I was pleased to see that DJR does a number of cleaning jobs, so I plan to use their services again.

The 2-man crew showed up when they said they would. They came fully prepared and got right to work cleaning the ducts with suction and high-pressure air. We had another company some years ago, and I was expecting a similar process, however DJR far surpassed any expectations I had at the outset. They were extremely thorough, cleaning everything and missing nothing, They were careful in the house, and completely cleaned up after themselves. I am dust sensitive, and can verify that the dust level after they left was excellent. I have already recommended them to colleagues, friends, and neighbors, and will continue to do so.

I called the office and spoke to Nikki. She explained the cleaning process and quoted me a price. She was able to schedule me for the next week. Al and Dave showed up on time and as scheduled. They located the vents and got to work right away. They answered all of my questions. I believe it took about 2 1/2 hours to do the work.

My house was new construction when I bought it three years ago, so I didn’t think too much about getting my dryer vent cleaned. But since I was always hearing or reading about the potential fire hazard, I called DJR and scheduled an appointment. Dave and Al came over a couple of days later to clean the vent. These guys were awesome! They both had such great attitudes and I enjoyed chatting with them while they worked. I am so glad I called them because it turned out that I had a lot of lint in my dryer vent. There was even a bird's nest with two eggs in there that they cleaned out! I felt bad about the eggs, but Dave said they were really old eggs that had been abandoned. In addition, Al said that my dryer hose that was connected from the dryer itself to the wall had not been installed correctly so there was a bunch of lint behind the dryer. He showed me the problem and I watched him fix it. He also vacuumed all of that lint out from behind the dryer. Dave also removed a bunch of lint from the lint trap in the dryer. So I am confident that my dryer and vent are now squeaky clean! I also found out that DJR does carpet cleaning. I was planning to have that done as well. Since Dave and Al did such an excellent job with the dryer vent cleaning, I intend to have them do my carpet cleaning as well. Plus, I got a cool mug filled with a bunch of cool stuff. This was a very pleasant experience and I strongly recommend this company.

So glad we went with DJR Cleaners! Let me start by saying that I am so happy for Angie's List. I really rely on the reviews and feedback from other customers and that is what led us to DJR. We had never had our air ducts cleaned before (in any property we've been in) but we knew something needed to be done in the home we're currently in. (Grime/dust collecting under doorways and near the vents=not cool.) I was very confident in choosing DJR, and they did not let me down. David and Al came on time, were courteous, and professional throughout. They were really good about wearing booties (especially with it being a rainy day) and cleaned after themselves. I barely had to vacuum once they left (thanks guys!) One of them (Al?) had to go down in the scary crawl space, but he was a real trooper. You certainly won't catch me going down there. I appreciated their friendliness, especially towards my toddler. They even let him watch (and hold a flashlight) and never seemed to mind that he was around. All in all, it was a great experience and feel that my ducts were cleaned as well as they could. These guys get an A+ from me.

They were running early so they called to get permission to arrive early. They needed to replace my vent hose and showed me why and what not to do in the future. They vacuumed all around and behind my dryer even wiped it down. they were done in about a half hour.

This us a fabulous company! David and his assistant arrived at my house exactly on time, were extremely professional, polite and friendly. They went about their work in a very efficient and pleasant way and were very clean and careful with their equipment. Overall an outstanding job.

Dave and Al were very punctual and professional. They took almost exactly one hour from start to finish, kept all work areas very tidy and were very courteous. We would definitely use them again!

They showed up a bit early, looked over my situation, told me there would not be any extra cost for properly routing the exit path of the dryer vent. They explained that the duct tape which had previously secured the various joints of vent tubing, was heating up, and presented a fire hazard. They cleaned out the venting and the dryer, and cleaned up after themselves. Very professional, excellent job.

We have two furnaces and DJR was able to give us a better price among all. I think they did a pretty good job. They worked on our home for about 3-4 hours total. They detected that our dryer vent was disconnected behind the wall. It was literally a fire hazard and I'm glad we didn't postpone this cleaning off our list to do. They tried to clean all the lint as much as they could from inside the wall. Nikkie (not sure how's the spelling) was really nice and patience in explaining over our initial phone call. And I think that's one of the reason I decided to go with DJR on top of their better pricing. We got two guys, Al and David, who are very nice and professional. My 3yo girl had really fun working with them as they let her assisted them holding the flashlight. Overall good experience.
