Done Just Right Cleaning

First of all the gentlemen were very polite and upon entering my home with their equipment they were very cautious to my flooring and other furniture. They were a pleasure to talk to and explained everything they were going to do. This was my first experience with a professional cleaning service. I always did it myself but after seeing how well it was done and how clean it now is I am going to have this service done every year. This was worth every penny. I found this company on Angie's List and they really rate an A+. Thank you Karen Nordstrom

-The air duct cleaning meant bringing in a piece of equipment that was the size of a steamer trunk, and taking it to the basement, where the furnace is located. We took the door to the basement stairs off of its hinges, to make access to the basement easier. The air duct cleaning went well--to our knowledge. -The carpet cleaning involved a large piece of machinery in a truck parked outside of our condo. From there hoses ran into the house to do the cleaning. -The first price quote we had for the carpet cleaning was 35 cents per square foot, for 750 square feet of carpet. Our carpet area is actually bigger than that. I estimated 1400 square feet & then had a quote from their office of 30 cents per square foot. The people who did the work measured 1200 square feet and the invoice that we paid was calculated at 35 cents per square foot. When we realized the discrepancy, they made a correction and sent us a refund check. -For reasons that I won't elaborate, we had one bedroom's carpet recleaned. This was done by a different vendor, who has a portable machine and who charges 20 cents per square foot. The water that his machine extracted from the recleaned carpet was noticeably dirty. He had an explanation for this, based on the difference between his machine and truck-mounted cleaners. He also had more success in cleaning at the edges of the carpet in the hallway and living room, where it meets the wall.

David and his associate arrived on time. They both assessed the scope of the job and clearly explained the details in laymen's terms. Both then went about their jobs in a timely and courteous manner. They were well equipped, which told me quite a bit about their professional business and left my home the way they found it. I will use DJR Cleaning for future cleaning jobs and recommend them.

I wasn't happy with service. I was expecting my carpets to be cleaner after service. They kept trying to sell me additional services

It was very positive. It was extenuating circumstances on the dryer vent cleaning. I knew it would cost this much upfront. It was because of the location. It was on a fourth floor condo with an elevator and it was more difficult to get to.

It was fine. We checked them online and chose them because of their ratings from the customers. They have the highest rating. We were happy with the service. The price was a little bit high. They came on time.

They were good. I had deal with them personally as it was in our rental house but they came out, did a nice job and the tenants were happy. So the overall experience was good.

Went well. Showed up on time, cleaned carpet in a professional manner. Provided slip on booties for those who needed to walk on carpet prior to it drying.

They are very good and fairly reasonable. They did a great job on the carpets.

They were very professional. They did the work what they were suppose to do in a very friendly and professional manner. There was no extra services selling. They cleaned up after them very thoroughly. Overall a very good experience and would recommend and use them again. Still wish they would lower their price or give some discounts to returning customers at a minimum.

It went very well, everything went as expected. I called to get a quote and called back to schedule the work when I was available. They came when they said they would and did the work just as described. Would recommend for anyone looking to have duct cleaning done!

DJR Cleaning did a really good job for me. They made sure that everything was done right. They were very responsive when I questioned them and I was very satisfied with their work.

I was given an estimate over the phone which included my Angies List discount. I made an appointment to have the ducts and vents cleaned. The technicians arrived at the appointed time, we went around the house counting the vents and returns; and they then worked for about two and a half hours cleaning them and the ducts. Before they left, they put everything back where it was, and made sure everything was clean.

The two service men (David and one other) showed up exactly on time, introduced themselves, handed me a business card, put booties on (which I really appreciated) and then began to research exactly how many vents my condo had. When done with this, they presented the estimate to me for my approval & signature, and explained what they would be doing. The two were nice, personable, and very professional. They then brought their equipment in (a very large machine to catch dirt and act as an air compressor(?) and a large shop vac, and proceeded to start taking vent covers off, vacuuming the covers and inside the vents. Then they used the giant machine to blow air (powerful!) through the vents furthest from the furnace room so that all the dust/dirt would travel through the vents to the central point in the furnace room, into their big machine's dust/dirt catcher. They let me see the contents of the dust bin after they were done - it was AMAZING how much dust/dirt/crud came out of the vents in my small condo! And I really enjoyed when they showed me two crushed very old beer cans that they had pulled out of a vent! Leftover from the construction workers was our guess. David answerered my questions throughout the visit, and even tacked on the extra job of cleaning the dryer vent when I asked if they could do that (of course there was an extra charge). When David started with the dryer vent, he told me that there must be a leak because the entire back of the dryer was covered with a mass amount of lint. He asked me if I found lint in other parts of the house. When I said yes, that's probably why my house got so dusty so fast, he offered to pull the dryer out, clean up all the excess lint in the laundry room, and make some repairs to the dryer vent hose so that it would not leak any longer. Considering that I just had the dryer vent cleaned this past spring by a company the Condo Assoc hired, and they most likely caused the mess in the first place, I thought it was great of David to offer to repair some other company's sub par work. I do still have some dust to clean up from where they took the vent covers off (most my vents were on the ceiling, so there is no way to avoid that), and I would definitely not expect them to do that work. Overall I am extremely pleased with the service, result & the company itself, and I will definitely be using DJR Cleaning in the future to do the dryer vent & air duct cleaning. I know the company has other services as well, and based on my good experience here, I would be very willing to use this company for those other services if needed.

Called to tell me they were running late and arrived at the new time. Explained what they were going to do and why. Very professional.

Very polite, professional service guy showed up on time and inspected the vent. He was not able to clean it from the outside since my house has a wooden box covering the vent. He instead was able to clean it from behind the dryer itself. He got a basketball size of lint out of the pipes and the dryer has started working better since the cleaning.

DJR Cleaning Services just left my home and I had to write a review immediately. I was very pleased with the quality of their services for air duct cleaning, carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning. I have never had the air ducts cleaned at my home which I have owned for 50 years! Needless to say, the DJR service men had their work cut out for them. The service men were extremely thorough, courteous and neat in my home. They explained what they were doing and really seemed to pay attention to the detail. They spent several hours cleaning the air ducts and then replaced my AC/Heating filter. I have no doubt that I will be enjoying cleaner air with less dust. My carpets and furniture look great as well. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

First day after having the vents and air ducts cleaned, and I'm already breathing easier - literally! Wow, what a huge difference! Technicians Dave & Al arrived on time & ready to get to work. Dave wrote up the invoice after walking through the house; it turned out to be a bit less than I was quoted on the phone (counted one less vent). They put on shoe covers whenever entering the house, explained the procedure (my first time having this done), were very professional, and patiently answered any questions that I had. They were happy to finish a specific room first, so I could put the cat (in her carrier) in there, away from the noise. I was able to see what they retrieved from vents & duct-work before they left - yuk! Now I know why I'm not sneezing like crazy today. In my opinion this was money well spent. My only regret is that I didn't have it done sooner. I will definitely recommend this company to others. Job well done!

The pricing that I was quoted over the phone was less than what the service man quoted upon arrival. He called the office for an adjustment and we met at a happy medium. Also, at the time of the appointment, the office person did not mention that they will not move certain furniture for shampooing purposes, i.e. dressers or beds, and the shampooing is therefore done around the items. It was the technicians fault, but should have been communicated at the point of inquiry. Had I know that, I could have moved some simple furniture to get better coverage. On the positive side, both technicians for super friendly and helpful. They were educational on things like vent covers, filters for the furnace and how I can maintain an overall healthier breathing environment. I felt both David and Al went the extra mile to do an excellent job and I will use the company again.
