Comfort Air HVAC

There was a replacement situation that was a bit unclear but I was assured it is normal procedure, but could possibily leave me paying approximately double the initial estimate. Then the price jumped another $100. The entire time the technician appeared to be more concerned that I give him a top rating than anything else. Ultimately there was also an issue with payment and the address on the business cards was incorrect and I had to put a stop payment on my check. All in all, a very bad experience. And this vendor was recommended by Service Magic. I will never use their services again!

I used a contractor recommended by Service Magic named Best Heating and Air. They installed a new coil and fized some leaks in my unit as well as refurbished the compressor. In one year I was having trouble with my A/C again. Best heating and air went out of business in the meantime. The next contractor Service Magic sent ( I had good luck with Service Magic on other jobs) was Comfort Air. After 3 visits and spending 6000 $ for a new Compressor, Evaporator Coil, Air Filters, TXV and resotre kit the unit 2 months later is putting out warm air. The Company will not answer my phone calls. Service Magic is supposed to have a 500 dollar warrantty on their work which they will no honor either DON'T USE THESE THIS COMPANY OR ANY OTHER SERVICE MAGIC CONTRACTOR About another 4 months after this report my Airconditioning went out again. It was 300 $ just to get it operating ! I was told the bad installation these guys did was going to cost another 1 K to fix a number of leaks in the instal not to mention a coil went out and the compressor they installed was loud because of all the air sucked into the system. after seeing the nice work Blue Frost did I can't believe I ever let these eople in my home !!
