I purchased a Big Deal. He provided great customer and he was easy to work with but unfortunately I was not able to utilize services.

Everything went very well. They were punctual, professional, very neat, and the results are flawless. Would definitely recommend!

Messaged via Angie's List messenger and never heard back. Called him directly and he called me back later. I wanted to set up an appointment for an estimate and gave several dates when I was available all day. He would not commit to a date / time and wanted me to call him back on the mornings of various days that I would be available, and he would let me know that morning if he could come out that day. Really? Who's paying who in this equation?

Great communication with the guys, they showed up on time each day and cleaned up at the end of each day. They made every effort to lessen the amount of dust that was raised. One morning they were caught in traffic so they called to say they would be a little late. That was really appreciated. They put up with me watching over their shoulders, especially since they needed very little direction. When I found a couple of minor issues they immediately worked to make us happy. After the granite tops are installed in the kitchen I will call them back to paint the rest of the house.

Called Jim arranged for and estimate. he was on time. We discussed the work to be done, he sent me an estimate which i thought was reasonable and set-up a start date. His crew and himself showed up as expected and proceded to do repairs and painting. they vaccumed and swept each day. He is easy to work with and has been in the business long enough to be able to see problems and rectify then as they show-up. Problems from a previous painter and problems with the ceilings krept up. he took care of them giving 110% to repair unexpected problems and repairs that werent first noticed. he gave me a reasonable adjusted estimate and everything worked out great. my schedule is limited and he work with me to make sure the job was completed timely.

Jim was great. Quick to schedule our job after he came out for the estimate. Completed the job in the time he said. Gave us a great recommendation on the color too!

the main thing I thought was unusual was he did not offer a written receipt of any kind, I had to ask for it & it came in the form of a text message after I brought it up. the work he did was fine....not an "A" but everything was ok...."B" grade work

Excellent work and service. Area painted, 2nd floor master bedroom and sitting room, guest bedroom, loft, and upstairs hallway + all ceilings in all mentioned. 2 story foyer, 1st floor hallway, family room walls and living room + ceilings on all. They were always on time. Great with my 3 y.o. daughter and our 2 dogs. They were capable of working and completing the job without me ever feeling like anyone needed to be babysat. I went about my day and the house was painted around us. They did all the prep to the surfaces to be painted, taped, placed plastic and ground clothes, cleaned up at the end of each day. At the completion, they broke everything down and put everything back in it's original place. The paint...beautiful. Clean lines, no signs of drips. My wife wasn't easy on them either. She picked accent walls in most areas, one of which was on the 2 story 90degree wall. They made it look easy. I'm plan to use them again and to recommend to anyone I hear is searching for someone.

The repaired walls look great. The painting was done quickly and they were meticulous in their cleanup afterwards. We're very pleased with the job and will definitely use them again in the future.

I found Jim's company on Angie's List. In the middle of a painting job with another company we suddenly needed someone to repair gouges on drywall with a coating of skim and sanding. Jim came out for an estimate promptly. I was afraid I'd have to put up new drywall to replace the damaged drywall left from wallpaper removal. We explained that we are sensitive to odors and he suggested a water-based product to paint over the walls before he put on skim and sanded. He coordinated his 2 days of work with the original painter. He did a great job of fixing the walls. He worked quickly and skillfully. I would recommend him and will definitely use his company again!

We were 100% satisfied using Maximum Painting. The initial estimate was the most competitive and Jim stayed within that estimate which is a problem we've had with contractors in the past. The work was high quality work and it was started on the agreed-upon date and it took as long as was originally estimated. Jim had a pleasant personality which is a plus when you have a contractor in your home for many hours. We will use this company again in the future when we have another painting or drywall project.

We made some last minute changes to what we had painted, and Jim was very accommodating. That was very much appreciated. He was nervous about doing this special venetian paint technique, so he consulted with someone more experienced than he, and it turned out great. He did not charge extra for it, either. Jim and his team were thorough, clean and respectful. My rooms look beautiful. I would recommend him for your painting needs.

The man did a lot of plastering and repair in the 4 hours. He did good job.

Did an excellent job and completed a day early. Would absolutely hire again. Finished the master on day one to give us a space to use at night, which was great and very thoughtful.

This company provided one of three bids. They were by far the most reasonable in price. I employed them and the repair was done within two weeks, and done very well. I would definitely call them again.Thanks Angie's List.

Jim Carpenter (owner of Maximum Painting) came out on a Saturday to provide an estimate and upon acceptance and deposit to secure our spot started the job within 2 weeks. Jim and his crew showed up on time at 8am and worked throughout the day taking only a lunch. The entire job took 7 days and required extensive patching, sanding and two coats of pain on the walls and 3 coats on the ceilings (we changed from a unicolor paint of all the same color to white ceilings). They also painted all baseboards and trim work. Each day, the crew cleaned up and vacuumed. Because we'd cleared ALL furniture from the family room, they were able to leave a drop cloth with their buckets and brushes there freeing up our kitchen to at least be useable. Jim's team was professional and good spirited. No cursing, no loud music and very respectful of our home and us while we were in or out. Needless to say with a job of this size it was pretty dusty with all the sanding, but they took good care to seal off as many rooms (that weren't being painted) as possible even putting plastic sheets over hanging clothes in the front closet.

First of all, Jim went well above and beyond the work I expected for the drywall repair. His specialty is paint but his drywall taping and patching is top notch and he strives for perfection. He even patched a 4" hole I created for a wall mounted TV that when removed even tore the drywall surface paper. You can't tell where the hole was at all. We did have a misunderstanding about the ceiling color in one room however even after he already had painted it he repainted it with the correct color at his own cost. Areas where I though he did a good job and looked done I would see him go back and make the drywall work look even smoother and paint again because it was not up to his standards. He was able to come out the day after we contacted him and was on time even despite having to deal with extreme cold and snow.

He did an outstanding job. Did excellent work. Was easy to work with. Everything looks great.

They came in and I showed him what I wanted done. He ended up knocking a big hole in the wall and then informed us we needed a carpenter to do the work. He really did not evaluate the problem before knocking down the wall and did not come with the proper equipment. I had this deal refunded.

They did a great job, and were very kind, respectful, and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend them!

My renters moved out and the place needed a clean coat of paint. I contacted Jim and we went for a walk thru. He quoted me a price and we settled on a date. He, along with 2 others, arrived on time on the 5th and settled in to do a couple of days work. They taped off the kitchen cabinets, around the bathroom items and where necessary. They removed all of the recessed light rings, at my request (so I could wash them) and proceeded to paint the ceilings, all the walls in the 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and living room and great kitchen. They repaired all the minor bumps, cracks and nail pops. The house is much brighter, cleaner and smells better.

Jim and his entire crew were great. They came in just barely over the estimate, started as promised and finished on time despite a tight schedule, and were very courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again next time I need this type of work done. Highly recommended.

Even though Jim is very busy he is always on time and I have never seen him rush a job. Very high work standards.
