EXCELLENT -- definitely call him. Remis quotes the work and does the work himself. Extremely professional, on time, on budget and great craftsmanship and quality. He does not do the staining, but has someone he recommends, and he was great too. I will not hesitate to call him again, and highly recommend him.

I contacted him while he was on vacation and then he came to our home to see the space where the stairs would be installed after our contractor removed the old staircase and created a new frame for the new ones, Remis came to measure. While the contractor was removing the old stairs, Remis was building some parts in his shop. He then came with the staircase when he said he would come, and installed it in two days. The quality of the work was really good and he was very professional and on time. I would use him again and we get a lot of complements on our new staircase.

The owner, Remis, is a true craftsman and he does not have anyone but himself doing the work. The first time he came out he was on time and brought a book of photographs of his accomplishments. I was very impressed with what I saw, the reviews on Angies list and the reasonable price he quoted so I hired him. Remis showed up on the day we agreed to and on time. He completed the job in one day and was extremely tidy. I would most definitely recommend Jusalda Custom Stairs and I have already re-hired Remis to update our stairs going down to our walk out basement. We love our new staircase and look forward to having him come back, next week, for our other staircase.

Wow...we are very impressed! Remis custom fabricated two oak railings in our home and repaired a third existing railing. He was great from start to finish. He discussed design and railing options over the phone and was able to get me an estimate the next day. He drove all of the way out to our home to make sure the sample we had picked online were a good match (he brought an actual piece of a railing and tons of wood stain samples to ensure the match was perfect). When we explained that we were in a hurry to get the railings installed because an elderly relative was coming to visit the next week, he fit us into his schedule the following Monday! He brought the railings pre-finished so there was no smell from fresh stain/lacquer. He is professional, polite, and courteous. He worked quickly and cleaned up the work area. When I asked him about a problem we were having with a third existing railing in our home, he told me he could fix it, and he did so ON THE SPOT. A great experience all around. This is the guy you want to hire for your railing work!!!

I contacted several different companies from Angie's List to receive a quote for a new wood railing in my kitchen which overlooks the family room. After sending out emails showing the area that needed service few companies felt the job was too small, so I was delighted to hear Jusalda would work with us. Remis emailed us a quote and photos of his prior work. After view the website and photos I felt comfortable knowing he saw my vision and we were ready to move forward. We set up an appointment for him to come by to get measurements and other specifics. He had sample wood colors and iron balusters to help me decide what look I was going for and what would match my kitchen cabinets and trim. I found this helpful. Installation day went smooth and a lot faster than I expected. I was very pleased with the finished project.

Remis came out within a few days of being called to provide us with an estimate. Remis was very knowledgable and provided samples for us to review. He provided us with a price which was very fair and was give the go ahead to proceed. He called us within two weeks to let us know that the materials were in and we scheduled the work for the following week. Remis showed up on time and completed the work within a day. All of the work was completed in on day. Very efficient and tidy (which is a big plus in my book). I would definitely recommend using them again.

Remis was great to work with. He took care of all the details needed to tear out and replace stairs that had been painted when the house was built and covered with brown shag carpeting for at least 15 years. He did a great job using nice oak treads so that I could stain them. He worked quickly and neatly and was finished in 1 day.

I found Remis by searching the list, and took a look at his website (http://www.jusalda.com). He answered the phone when I called and came to the house to do a free estimate. He was easy to work with and brought samples of all of the balusters and rails we could choose from. He gave un an estimate on the spot which was lower than we expected, so we decided to go ahead. We paid half the fee up front and half when the work was done. He ordered the materials and said that he would call to schedule an installation date when they came in approximately two weeks later. He was good to his word and we picked a Wednesday morning at 8:00 before my wife and I left for work. He did the whole job (approximately 20 steps in two flights) in one day. The stairs look beautiful, and his speed was impressive. We are 100% satisfied with every aspect of his work.

Remis was wonderful to work with. He was a referral from a neighbor who was very happy with the woodwork he had done on her stairs, along with the new wrought iron balusters he installed. His quote on replacing the balusters was significantly less than the local competition. He was also extremely nice and personable. I offered him a tip at the end of the job and he had a hard time accepting it. I had to force him to take it!
