We were able to replace our windows with units that met or exceeded performance numbers of major brand windows, at a fraction of the cost. Our house is only 5 years old and the builder used decent grade, double pane windows, but we just wanted the energy efficiency and comfort of better windows. We love our new windows! We no longer feel drafts when close to the windows, no longer have condensation on the inside, and can tilt out both sashes for easy cleaning. But what really surprised us was the how quiet the windows are-many of the outside noises we were accustomed to just disappeared. About Ameri-craft: In business, and in this area, for over 21 years. Roy was our sales person (turns out he is also an owner). He was on time and professional. He brought brochures and small demonstration window units. He was able to clearly explain and fully answer questions about the window options and the complete installation process. Roy was easy to contact. He answered the phone mostly, but when we got voicemail, he was prompt in returning calls. The installation went exactly as Roy detailed. The work crew has been with Ameri-craft for over 14 years. Jim and Mike were also professional. They did an excellent installation with attention to detail. The overall fit and finish is excellent. Equally important, they did a great clean up. All materials and debris, except what we ask them to leave so we could recycle, was removed.

Americraft Exteriors did a great job. My new sliding glass doors are beautiful, efficient and just what I needed to make my home beautiful. It's so rare to find a business that is owner-operated and really cares enough to explain the details and educate you in the process. I have hired him and his team in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Great quality and honest, superior craftsmanship.

It was a pleasure working with Ameri-Craft and it's owners Roy and Sandy. We appreciated their professionalism and responsiveness as well as their limitless patience. Admittedly, we have never installed windows and we had tons of questions, but Roy answered all our concerns and he helped us find the best product and application for our home and budget. We also appreciated the professionalism of their crew. They were friendly, clean and fast--the entire project took them only three days Just in time to keep us warm for the crazy weather this winter. I would highly recommend their services!

Roy Amatore,and everyone, was very nice, and professional. Gave me a discount, 1/2 price to install front storm door which was not even purchased from them. That was nice of them. Would recommend them to anyone. Very professional. No problems. Highly recommend! All calls answered promptly. High quality material with guarantee. I got three estimates for time and materials, was very satisfied with them and prices. Would definitely rehire! It was a $1,200.00 job. Everyone else want $2,000.00 or more.

Installation was in the middle of winter and the workers did their best to move quickly to reduce the amount of time it took to wrap up the job. They were clean, accommodating, and the salesman was flexible too. I am EXTREMELY happy with the windows. They were FAR less than Pella windows, which is the quality I was looking for, but they turned out to be just as wonderful as that famous brand. I also asked the staff to install extra locks; they worked well. A year later I caused a problem with the windows and the salesperson came out on a Saturday afternoon to help us fix the problem.

Everything was fine and on-time and done as soon as they could do it. They were very efficient and quick. Their prices were more reasonable than others.

It went very well. Their prices were the cheapest out of other estimates we had received. They were also very nice and polite.

I wish I could post pictures. The end result cannot look any more like the original construction, inside and out. The job had no surprises.....really. One pane of glass fell before it was delivered to Steve, so that caused a minor delay (thus the B for Punctuality) for not finishing EXACTLY the day we all forecasted, but we learned about it the moment it happened and it wasn't his fault, so no harm was caused when a new pane came to him a couple days later. We were kept informed along the way and we were never put out by it. The job was done in a matter of days and with the weather the way it has been this year, our only regret was that we didn't call Steve and have this done years ago.

We have used Ameri-Craft Exteriors for all of our windows and doors over the past few years. Our recent installation finished up the windows for the entire house. We were waiting to put this one window in due to a possible larger project. Ameri-Craft Exteriors has been excellent and I referred them to many neighbors who have used them for one broken window to an entire house of windows. Their workmanship and quality of work is excellent. They have kept the same installers over the past few years that I have worked with them so you always see the same people and they are very knowledgeable and professional and absolutely know what they are doing. Definitely would recommend them if you want a great quality product installed correctly the first time. As much as new windows and doors are not super exciting, we absolutely love our new windows and doors - especially during a winter like this. No air blowing right through them. Totally worth every penny!!

Steve is a really personable guy and very focused on customer service. He was as excited about my project as I was and worked with me every step of the way to make certain that prior to placing the order everything was perfect. He came to the house when the shipment from Marvin was due to arrive and found a small flaw in one of the windows and immediately arranged to have a new one shipped. His installers were also top notch. I came to appreciate that even the most expensive doors and windows -if not installed properly are going to disappoint. Not a problem here. These guys were incredible --running up and downs ladders with these heavy windows on their backs without any mishap. Cleaned up at the end of each day and did an incredible job. Even came back when Steve decided the color of the caulk should be changed to match the windows (which were black) rather than the home (which was a cream color) The guys redid all the caulking and though I was not sure it was necessary, once it was redone it looked fabulous. I would recommend Steve and his team at Ameri-Craft to anyone---and have. Replacing windows and doors is a big expense and can be a headache but with Ameri-Craft it was a pleasure and I could not be happier with the final look (and added warmth) of my home. Should also mention that they were great to work with to help assure I qualified fro the maximum energy credits.

It went very well. We didn't have any problems whatsoever and the work has been holding up well. Everything went as expected.

It went very smoothly and they were fairly priced. They were also efficient and professional and came relatively quickly and when they said they would. We were very satisfied and have passed their name along to others.

I didn't have any problems. They did what they were supposed to and we were happy with it. There were no issues with installation or scheduling.

Following the major storms in mid August 2007, we called Ameri-Craft off a yellow pages ad that suggested they do insurance based home repairs. The person we scheduled the estimate with was extremely brief and kind of rude. We attempted to describe the work to be done in detail and were cut off and told "we have to send an estimator." To add insult, when Steve the estimator arrived at our house he spent about 2 minutes on-site, took one look and said "this job is too small for us." We had tried to tell the scheduler that it was a small job. When we asked if he could recommend another contractor or tell us what kind of business could fix the damage to our house all he said was "I don't know, but its too small for us". Very unhelpful, very unfriendly. We will not be calling them ever again.

THE GUY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO MEASURE DID NOT SHOW UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT THE FIRST DAY BECAUSE HE WANTED TO GO TO THE CUBS GAME. THE SECOND DAY, HE CAME AT THE WRONG TIME. THE INSTALLERS DID NOT SHOW UP FOR TWO DATES AND THERE WAS NO TELEPHONE CALL TO ME REGARDING THIS. THE GARDEN WINDOW WAS NOT WHAT WE REQUESTED AND THERE WAS NO EFFORT TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THERE WERE NO DISCOUNTS GIVEN FOR ALL OF OUR TROUBLE; IN FACT, WHILE ARGUING THAT THE WINDOWS WERE NOT WHAT WE ORDERED, WE WERE TOLD LEGAL ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN IF THE BILL WAS NOT PAID. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

THE CREW ALSO DIDN''T CLEAN UP AS THE JOB SPECS CALLED FOR.
