Peter provided the most comprehensive quote/proposal including a detailed scope of work. Project was completed using a very hard working and highly skilled crew.

I just saw the incorrect info responded by the company after I upgraded my review. They never suggested we contact another company regarding this project at any time. The salesman, Reed, also tried to convince us we did not need a permit and when the job was completed attempted to convince us the village did not do final inspections. We live in Arlington Hts and yes, a permit is needed as well as a final inspection.

Sales man Peter is friendly and technician Steve Dergach is best.

Overall, everything went well. There were several issues that were taken care of after the roof was completed, but no major problems. Anyone can make a mistake, but the real test is how well (and quickly) the problem is corrected. Advanced Roofing came through for me and I am very pleased with the new roof.

I have to tell you that Advanced Roofing Team Construction is absolutely fabulous. My sales representative Peter was absolutely fantastic. He listened to the issues , performed a free estimate and identified the problems. Peter was very punctual, knowledgeable and absolutely professional. I hired then Advanced Roofing Team Construction to replace my rubber roof with the new membrane called TPO. The team came right out and got to work, completed the roof in record time (even though we had many rain delays). The entire team was very thorough, cleaned up all debris and took pictures of the new roof for me after I declined to go up top. You can call Peter any time of the day (I called as late as 8:00 pm and was shocked that he answered the phone). He is quite responsive. I have even referred them two several of my neighbors. Advanced Roofing Team Construction is that good. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

I have called on Peter and his team several times for my residential rental units over the years. At least three different roof replacements, and a few roof repairs. I find Peter to be very responsive and understanding. He has come out in cold winter months to perform repairs and correct ice dams. His team is dependable and work quickly and on time. I worked closely with Tom from Advanced Roofing to set-up and schedule the installation of the new roof. At the beginning, Tom was really great. He was responsive and would communicate either text or cell. As the date to get the roof got closer, however, my experience with Advanced Roofing became a little more frustrating. The turnaround time for a new roof was to weeks We were supposed to get the new roof on October 11th (within the 2 week window) with supplies being delivered before that. The supplies were delivered, but I received a call from Tom that those shingles were not actually the shingles that I ordered--the shipment was incorrect. So, the roof was not able to get done on the 11th because the supplies weren't there. Correct supplies were reordered and delivered on Thursday of that same week, so not bad turnaround. At this point, Tom said that they would start the roof on Friday. The guys show up on Friday to do the roof, but they failed to tell me beforehand that they would need the cars cleared from the street parking directly in front of my house to be able to drop the dumpster. They waited maybe an hour and then they left. They asked me to clear one spot in front of the house so they could do this job tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Though I was frustrated, I chalked it up to a misunderstanding because I am not familiar with what roofers need so I figured I did something wrong. I secure the spot and wait for them to come back on Saturday. They come back on Saturday morning. I show them the spot and they let me know that they actually needed 3 spots. The foreman in charge of the job is cracking jokes and making it seem that not being able to perform the job for a second day in a row is just what happens and they will try to come back on Monday. At this time, I got on the phone with Tom and with Tom's supervisor to insist that no one leaves until 1) they articulate what exactly they need to complete the job and 2) they wait 3 hours before they leave so that I can try to find the owners of the vehicles and get the vehicles moved. They were frustrated with me but I insisted on the crew waiting until I could try to make progress on the space. I don't (and didn't) have time to have trial-and-error sessions on when they might be able to put the roof in--just stopping by and hoping that the situation meets their needs. I plan to get things done and expected the roofers to do the same. Within the hour, I was able to get the cars moved and they were able to begin work. The roofers worked quickly and seemed to be knowledgable, but my frustration level with this company was high at this point. They finished the house on Saturday, but did not get to the garage. The came back to do the garage on Monday. It seems, in the end, that they did a good job. We have 6 skylights and we paid for them to fix the flashing on all of the skylights, as well. The crew was a bid condescending in a sexist way. Unfortunately, this is nothing new as I experience this frequently when dealing with home/repair issues as a young(er) woman. Really, though, all I needed from them was to do a good job on the roof. After the job was compete, we noticed debris on one of the skylights. We called Tom to ask him to send someone out to clean it off, as it did not wash off with the rain we had. He did send someone out, but they are terrible at communicating when they will be out. For this, someone just showed up to my house. We were home, but if we weren't, I don't know that he would have been able to clean the skylight as he needed further instructions from us. This happened again when we asked someone else to come out for a leak in the ceiling that we thought might be the roof (it wasn't, but we weren't sure at the time). They sent someone out, but that person just showed up and didn't call beforehand. This time, that person needed to come in the house so it was necessary for us to be home--a phone call would have been nice. In the end, we thought we paid a fair price for what we got; I just wish the communication was better. They owned up to their lack of communication in the end, but it took me pushing them to admit they were wrong to do so. I think I would go with them again because I trust their work.

We were very happy with Peter and his crew. We had the old shingles tore off and new ones installed plus up graded vents and new one installed on the back porch. We had some leaking that was caused by an unseen defect with our false chimney. They fixed the problem and did not charge us even though it was no fault of theirs.

We have nothing but huge praises for this company. They are honest and knowledgeable. When they added "Team" to their name that is exactly what they have...a team of experts in every area of construction to do the job. They had experts on their staff to install the skylights as well as the roof. In our case we had a huge amount of interior damage, which had to be fixed according to code. Several of the roofers said they could do the roofs but not the interior work that was badly needed from the water leakage. Both the garage roof and the house roof was finished to perfection. The skylights are warrantied by the manufacturer and with the proper installation done by Advanced Roofing Team, I do not expext any problems for years to come. All I can say here is everyone in their organization is totally amazing. Many roofers can do the job, but will it be done correctly. I believe these people take pride in their work and every job they do will be done to perfection. You don't want to have to replace a roof after tten years or less, like what happened to us. Out roof from our remodeling on the house did not even last ten years. We are a very satisfied customer.

Mike Alex came out within an hour when I called. He looked all around and the roof and that wasn't the problem. He took pictures of the spots on the ceiling in the laundry room. Bottom line when people do right by me I do right by them. Very honest! Recommend to anyone.

Tom was the professional that came out and spent time with us explaining what was wrong with our roof, that there were many layers underneath, that all of it needed to be torn off due to age, the type of shingles, and the layers. We were blown away with the news and weren't happy about the price. Having done some homework however, we found the price was fair and due to the integrity, professionalism and our faith in Tom, we gave them the job and crossed our fingers. We had some issues along the way but Tom was eager to listen, and quick to respond. I feel very fortunate to have found a highly ethical company who did an awesome job with our roof and gutters. The job was quick, the workers were meticulous with the clean up and everyone was professional. I would highly recommend! I had purchased a deal for a replacement roof and at the same time added on having my garage roof replaced. Advanced Roofing Team was quick to respond and set up everything. Michael sent everything over quickly and would respond within 24 hours (usually much quicker) to emails and questions. We were delayed by weather, but there was nothing we could do about that. When the day of service came the guys showed up on time and started work right away. There were some rotted boards that needed replacement, which I planned on anyway, and the team was able to tear off the old roof, install the new roof, new boards, flashing, roof vents, and clean up everything on both the garage and house within a 9 hour period. They even were good enough that they were able to aim my dish so my satellite service worked after they left. I would highly recommend them.

We recently lost about 10 shingles during a severe wind storm. After calling several roofers in a panic (and our insurance company), Peter got back to us promptly and came out right away. He gave us a very honest assessment of the damage and advised us to simply repair the damage, rather than replace the whole roof, leaving our less-than-generous insurance company out of it. It was refreshing to hear his opinion and reassurance that the damage actually wasn't catastrophic and we could likely squeeze a few more years out of our roof. He probably saved us a lot of hassle with the insurance company, not to mention higher premiums as a result. Peter sent a technician over the very next morning to repair the damage and we were all set. When we do need a full roof replacement, we will definitely be calling Peter. We trust him and value his expertise.

Could not have been happier with Advanced. Great service from initial call, working with Peter(estimator) to the men who did the work. Looks great and they cleaned up when they were done! Would recommend over and over again!

Smooth and very professional

Mike contacted me right away. He came out the same day to give us an exact price and see what we wanted done. We agreed on a price, which wasn't much more then his deal. Our roof was just a little bigger then 2000 sq feet. We told him we wanted it done on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. They were out the following Monday. The work was done in the time he allowed,and we did not have any further charges. There can be damage to the wood under the shingles, that can't be seen until the old roof is removed. The clean up was great. I would absolutely use this company again.

Roof workers did a fair job. Sales agent was very prompt and professional. Noticed several nails scattered on the lawn and some pieces of the old roof. Slightly dented the gutter in front of the garage. The roof was never inspected by someone from ART after the work was completed. Not recommending this contractor. Why? I recommended them to my brother-in-law and had his roof replaced by ART just recently. Afterwards, he informed me that the workers did a poor job installing the shingles (some were loose and flapping). They also ripped the screen on one of the windows and did not inform him of the damage. Lastly, a lot of nails and pieces of the old roof were scattered all over the lawn. This is not acceptable especially if you have smaller children who likes to play in the yard. I'm very disappointed and somewhat embarrassed as I was expecting a high-quality of work from ART.

went ok, they were not going to put down new tar paper, that was resolved. The 10% discount had to be applied when the contract was signed, said we didn't qualify because the roof cost more than the advertised special. The work was done on my Mother's condo in Channahon, so the paperwork was not in my name and the company dealt with my brother Mike. The review was also rated by my brother who was onsite with Advance Roofing Team when the work was completed.

John Cavanaugh was amazing to work with and every honest. The work was done when it was scheduled for. The team was professional and cleaned up amazingly after they left.

Went better than I could have imagined. EVERYTHING went well. This is a top notch organization, From initial consulting to roof inspection to materials selection to actual roof replacement through cleanup. Everything went as it was supposed to go. No surprises. Several years ago we experienced a hail storm. I inspected the roof myself and concluded there was no chance the the insurance company would would pay for what seemed to be minor damage. A few months later John Cavanaugh from Advanced Roofing knocked on my door. We went up on the roof and he assured me that there was an excellent chance we could receive a completely new roof. Within days, John had an insurance inspector on my roof and she agreed that it would be covered. John handled all of the legwork. the process was painless due to his efforts and a few weeks later the roofing team was at my house. John stopped by during the install and contacted us a few days later to make sure we were satisfied with the results. I like that they were straightforward with the pricing and worked with us on the schedule. I don't like that they weren't very responsive after the job was done so we can get some questions answered.
