He had to install a new wire from the electrical box to the new outlet for the microwave. Then he installed the microwave. He was quick and did a excellent job! I would highly recommend him! + -1 moreThe owner, Rob Warkins, called in the evening and scheduled an appointment the next day. Rob showed up exactly when he said he would be here. I told him what I needed and he went right to work. I thought it would take a couple of hours. It didn't. The work took a little less than one hour. I'd paid on line for one hours worth of work and expected to pay more. Rob gave me a receipt for the work and asked me to write a positive review on Angie's List - which is what I am doing right now - and that if I needed any additional service to be sure and call Warkins Electric - which I will most certainly do! Warkins Electric is the best electrical contractor doing work at me home. I would highly recommend Warkins for anyone. You won't be sorry.
Description of Work: I needed a new circuit for a washer, dryer and dehumidifier. Rob Warkins installed the entire circuit in less than one hour.

Description of Work: Rob was great! My doorbell overloaded and started a small issue. I called Rob based on his reviews on Angie's list and he was awesome. Replaced doorbell, checked everything and installed a whole house surge protector. I would recommend him in a second if you need a professional electrician.

They showed up on time, didn't cause any troubles or make any mess and they were quick and thorough. The work done was excellent. I would highly recommend Warkins and I'd definitely use them again.

Everything from initial contact until project completion was smooth. Rob is a true professional. We decided to replace more light fixtures with can lights halfway through, which was not an issue for Rob. In fact, we had several changes to the original quote which Rob easily accommodated. We are very happy with Rob's work and will be using him for additional work in the future.
Description of Work: Upgraded from 100 to 200 amp service, had several new electrical outlets installed, ceiling fan boxes and ceiling fans installed in 6 rooms, installed 11 can lights throughout the house

+ -1 moreWarkins Electric is a one-person company. Rob Warkins is very knowledgeable and skilled. His is not a bargain-baasement operation, but his prices are fair. His end of our new home construction was done very well. I highly recommend his company for any electrical work.
Description of Work: Complete wiring and electrical service installation for new 3000 sf home. Included planning locations for lights, outlets and other electrical service items. The work was done over the course of 6 months. Rob Warkins does all the work himself, and is a very reliable and trustworthy person. When minor corrections were needed he did the work with no delay or objections.

He was able to get my kitchen light working that afternoon and set up a time to come back and fix the problem in my other room. Both lights are now working great and I am very glad I called. Overall very pleasurable to work with and will definitely call him for all future electrical needs!

Description of Work: Our 100 year old farmhouse needed all new light fixtures. Rob replaced all of them, moved outlets and brought several rooms up to code by fixing the wiring in the walls. + -1 moreCalled Warkin Electrical to get some stuff fixed. They came out the next morning and fixed everything, including stuff that a scam artist worked on prior. They were done in a little over an hour. Their prices are reasonable. They charge by the hour, but won't charge you for a full hour if not used. I have already reccommended them and will be a repeat customer!

He came early one morning so he could get the outlets installed before the painters arrived, he reworked his schedule so he could be here when the installers came with the dishwasher and the stove. He did all he could to make sure no time was lost on the job. He had a pleasant personality, worked quickly and efficiently and was sure to clean up after he finished the job. I believe his charges were very fair . I would not hesitate to reccomend him to a family member or friend and will definitely call him for any electrical work we have in the future.

Each job was done professionally, efficiently and on time. Without question the best electrician I have ever worked with. He was always available when we had questions about the job and returned phone calls promptly. Rob also knows the local codes and specification requirements extremely well insuring the job was done right. The most recent kitchen remodel project, especially the lighting has drawn many compliments. I highly recommend Warkins Electric as a contractor.

Description of Work: I needed an electrician to install a fan and lighting in my new screened-in porch. My carpenter suggest Rob of Warkins Electric. I was impressed with Rob's work, so the fan and lighting project quickly expanded to a new fan and recessed lighting in my familyroom. Also another outlet in my laundry room. Throughout the project, Rob kept me informed and worked with me on the placement of switches and my choices in fixtures. Description of Work: Added several lights in the kitchen ceiling and updated our electrical system all through the house and basement. We never hire any electrician other than Rob Warkins for our electrical needs regardless of how complicated the job is. We have had electricians turn down jobs in the past that they admitted they did not have the knowledge to do. Rob always has the same answer when we ask him to do a task for us that others had turned down, his answer is always "I can do it." What ever job or how complicated it is and regardless of how many others electricians have turned it down, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CALL ROB, "HE CAN DO IT." In addition to his great knowledge and ability to complete any task, he also has a great personality, his fees are very reasonable and he is a very nice person to work with.
