Tom's Sealcoating

DO NOT USE this company for your driveway or any other services. They did not do the work outlined in their estimate and when I called them on it someone did come out after the second time I called a stated it was infact not done properly they were to fill cracks which never happened. I waited four different times and days and no one ever showed to do the proper work. I have called the office many times only to get a voicemail or to talk to a person by the name of Anita and all you get is smoke. I have been lied to have requested the $220 I paid for the sealing that never happened and it has been two months and still nothing. I was scammed out a total of $745. Please do not let this happen to you! I will do my best to get the word out about this company. They lie, cheat you and steal from you. DO NOT USE TOM'S SEAL COATING FOR ANY JOBS.

These guys perform Exceptional work, which maintains customer loyalty. Our large drive was completed to our mutual satisfaction. The phone receptionist Anita, is kind, patient, and thoughtful. My family highly recommends this dependable and professional service Tom's Sealcoating provides.

I was very flexible because I wanted the service done at a specific day. I was quoted a price of 110.00. After the service was performed I was over charged by 10.00. I wasn’t home so someone else at my house paid and wasn’t aware of the cost. The crack filler also fell a part. I called on both issues and it took forever for someone to get back to me. I was told they would look into the issues. I’ve never heard back on the overcharge! They showed up at my house to repair cracks unannounced. I was out of town with a car in my drive. They said they would fill around it. I’m not sure how you fill cracks under a car. Again the crack filler fell a part. I’ve never heard back from them since!

Poor workmanship, poor materials, owner lies to you. I had them do my driveway and fill my cracks. They said the material they used would do a good job even though I specifically asked for the pourable filler and they were suppose to use it. They did not. When they finished they "accidentally" took MY traffic cones even though they knew they came with none. After 3 calls and 2 days the owner returned my cones and I pointed out the cracks already were opening up. IN WRITING he put on my receipt he would return and fix the problems. I have had 4 such promises and 3 dates scheduled to fix it yet MY DRIVEWAY IN MESSED UP WORSE THAN EVERY because of the poor job they did. The owner and the help are of questionable character in my humble opinion and they do not do a good job or keep their promises. If you want a quality job done on your driveway DO NOT USE TOM'S SEALCOATING!!!

The service was performed in early June and I see big cracks in the driveway. Called them many times but always found the voice mail full so can't even leave message. Quite unprofessional guys; don't hire them!!!

Had the job done last fall this spring it looked terrible out of my hot tar did not stick I called them up they say they were going to come out and redo it for free four months later with several phone calls a crew came out and realized that my driveway was too big and they didn't have enough and they'll contact me for another date I'm still trying to call them they're not answering their phones they're not trying to call me back I lost $600

STAY AWAY. We hired Tom's after hearing about it from a friend. They came on time and performed the work when they were supposed to but the quality is completely unacceptable. When we called them back to discuss our experience we were given excuse after excuse. Finally, they agreed to send someone out to see what the issues were...except no one ever came out, they stopped answering their phone and now their voicemail box is full. We are now left with a driveway that shows all water spots and all of the overlapping lines from the original job. The quality of the seal and the inability for them to handle the issue appropriately (they told us 4 times someone would call us back and no one ever ha) has baffled us. Please do not let this happen to you!

They did what they promised, arrived on the day promised, were professional in their conduct, and left no mess behind with finished.

I called Tom's Sealcoating earlier in the week during the day. I did not receive a return call to schedule with them until close to 8:30 at night. They apologized for the late call but promised to be at my home by 9AM today (Friday 09/26/2014). By 9:45 they had not shown up or called. I called and they indicated the gentleman should be at my home shortly and they would call me right back. Of course neither has happened and it is now nearly 11:30 AM. I called them back and of course now twice there was no answer from them or return call. I left them a message to not bother and I am hiring another company (Hastings) who had a professional phone demeanor and promised to have someone out. It is sad when a company litters your subdivision with flyers promising all this wonderful service they have no intention of providing. Bottom line avoid Tom's Sealcoating. Call a better company!
