Rockford ProWash

Had an appointment set for 8am this morning to receive a quote on cleaning and treating our deck. No one showed up. At a little past 8:30am, I called them and got their voicemail. I left a message and said that no one had shown up, I did not receive a phone call, and this makes me wonder if I really want to get a quote. At about 11am, I received a phone call from I believe the owner. He began by apologizing and saying that the appointment was not on his calendar. Then, he said that he did not think he really wanted to give me a quote, an obvious reference to my comment on his voicemail. I was shocked that a person in business would treat a potential customer this way.

Chris (the owner) was very friendly and responded immediately to emails and texts. I called him on Wednesday (May 31st) and he was out Friday afternoon (June 2nd) to do the work. I could not be more happy. The siding on the back of our house was actually green in places from the algae. Chris and Steve made the siding look like new again. I appreciated the following things about their visit: they were punctual, professional looking, cared about not damaging any of my property or plants, took a good amount of time to set up and make sure everything was proper before beginning, thoroughly explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions, worked efficiently and the work looked great! They also cleaned the front sidewalk, which now also looks new and fantastic. I am very pleased with how it all turned out and my only regret is that Chris does not do plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, roofing and HVAC. If he did, I would hire him to do everything.

They did a good job. I would use them again and would recommend them.

It was uneventful. They showed up when they said they would and did the work and left. The results were clean gutters.

It went very well. The guy was on top of my roof working when I came home from an appointment. He was very friendly and explained why the cost was more than the price thru Angie's List, which was because of the extra effort needed to get the job done. I agreed with his assessment because I had been meaning to get this done for some time. I would highly recommend the kind of friendly, respectful and thorough service I received.

Did a good job of cleaning out the gutters.

Shawn and Chris were right on time, professionally explained what they were going to do, and carried out the siding cleaning thoroughly. I couldn't be happier with the job performed as I thought the facia at the top of the house was doomed to look dirty forever. The chemicals they use were thoroughly explained, gentle on my house, and left it looking like new. They totally cleaned up after themselves and were done in a couple hours, just like they said they would be. It was a fantastic service experience and the best money I've spent in a long time. Purchased special on Angies List. Was contacted by Chris with two days to arrange time. I especially was pleased with the fact that no one had to be home when this was done. He called a couple of days early and asked if he could move up the date which worked perfectly. Chris followed up with a phone call to see if everything was satisfactory. Would definately redcommend and will use again

Very well. Showed up timely, cleaned the gutters and cleaned up the area.

They did need to reschedule, but offered several workable options. At the rescheduled date arrived on time and performed very thorough work. Cleanup was particularly impressive. Will use them again next year.!!!

Provider wasted deck stain in my grass and now the grass is burned in that spot.

Our home was discolored with green and black mold discolorations. The paint was chipped and very rough. The house looks beautiful and white without any discoloration. The decks are a gorgeous color and restored to almost new. The Gazebo is inviting and beautiful. The workman were very careful of our plants.

The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was not very pleasant. He answered the phone with a "ya" and did not seem interested at all in gaining a new customer. Would not recommend this business to others in the future.

He did a wonderful job, arrived as promised, cleaned gutters out, and cleaned up debris when finished. No icicles this winter!

It went well. I was here when they came out to do the service and I really have no complaint as the work went well.

We were not present at the time of service, however, they did an excellent job of cleaning up as there was no sign they had been there.

The work was done well and they were responsive to my emails. However the work which was ordered via Angie's list special offer in late summer was not completed until first week in December. Would have preferred to get the work done sooner.

Chris was very prompt. He was courteous by calling before his arrival. The gutters were cleaned and yard waste hauled away. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Chris called me on November13th and explained the the weather was too cold to clean the gutters that week, but the week of November looked like it would be warmer. At that time, I explained that the house had a 2600 square footprint, but had 10 foot ceilings and is a two-story home. Chris indicated that an additional fee for the second story would apply, but he could do the job for a reasonable price. Chris called on the morning of November 23rd, a Sunday morning, and said he wound be at my home in five minutes. It was pouring rain. I explained that I had an appointment for a medical test in Aurora, IL and that I needed to be out of Rockford in half an hour. It takes 25 minutes to clear the city limits. He said he'd be there in five minutes. Five minutes came and went and still no contractor. I had to leave, but presumed he would service the gutters and Bill me for the balance. Later, while I was in Aurora, I got the phone message that Chris had called me. Numerous retailers had started cyber-Monday early and the message had been delayed. I called Chris back and he told me, my house was too nice, too big and the grounds extensive. He could not honor the deal. I asked him if he could just do the front, again the answer was no. My home did not qualify since the deal included the square footage of the basement as well. I had a mansion and that was that. I asked Chris the rhetorical question: " How am I supposed to write a positive review if you have performed no services?" He became angry and told me I wouldn't be given a refund, he was keeping the fee. As the great grandchild of two builders, I know this is not normal contractor behavior. To date Rockford ProWash has kept the fee. My home has dirty gutters and I have no time to get another contractor before spring. The work for four other contractors has also been delayed until spring.

A perfect job, great communication, on time as promised. SIMPLY THE BEST

Work was done on time. No problems. Owner was helpful discussing option, sent pictures of decks they'd done to help us pick the stain.

We just bought our home and our gutters were filthy! 2 men showed up ready to work. They got on the roof of our home with buckets and cleaned everything out! They did a great job! One downspout wasn't working properly and we didn't know it. Chris told my husband and Chris got it working. He was very polite, professional and eager to please.. They did such a great job we hired Chris to power wash and stain our deck. It was in bad shape! We thought we had to tear it down and rebuild. We were wrong! Chris power washed it and came back several days later to sand some areas and then stained it it looked beautiful! We couldn't believe that he got the deck looking like a brand new one! We are not exaggerating! He is a hard worker and very detailed in what' he does. You can see the pride he takes in his work! We can't tell you how great of a job this young man did on both jobs! No complaints--completely satisfied! Rockford Pro-wash is a company who takes pride in each and every job they do!! We highly recommend Rockford ProWash and would use them again! My husband and I are very happy with both jobs they did! If Winter is coming and if those gutters are filled call this company you'll be thrilled with their job! If you need your deck cleaned Chris does a beautiful job! You will not be disappointed.

Very well done. Very response to our particular needs. We requested ProWash to return at the end of fall. Other related outdoor service was discussed and estimates offered. Not "pushy" in any way. We would recommend this company in the future.
